This guy has an appreciation of music like no one I've ever heard before. He uses the word "beautiful" so much. He just loves the sound.
Notice how he vibratos even the simple chords, he is comited to every little thing he plays. That is a lesson right there from a real musician.
Lots of soul in his playing for sure. I used to sit and listen to him for hours at M.I. during his open counselings when I went there in the mid 00s I just hung out there. Def could not play anything he played but I really loved the sound and just taking it all in. I’m happy he didn’t kick me out 😂😂
Thank you Allen for sharing your knowledge with us. I only wish UA-cam was around when I picked up the guitar back in the early 1960's.

I love Allen's playing, but this was more basic than I'd hoped. Also, why can't TrueFire do some simple audio editing and mute your vocal channel on those sniffles. It's so easy to do and I feel for ya buddy! Is that a No caster?
Charlie, one pick up so it’s an Esquire. Lovely sound so maybe an original ‘52 pickup - the neck looks great also.
What amo was he using? Sounds incredible as always..
he basically uses blackface style Fenders or whatever brand has something similar,today he uses Redplate blackline,also in overdrive channel.
remember he always adds reverb and a long delay
