I realize this is a *Photoshop* Playbook video, but since we started in LR, all you have to do is go to File/Export and in the Export window go down to the Metadata section. There's a box there that says, "Remove Location Information". Check that box. You can also decide what other metadata to include or exclude. Now set your dimensions, resolutions, quality, etc. and export your image(s). :-)

Thank you so much! I always wanted to hide exif info and I didn't knew how to do it. Till now, after I watched this short tutorial, thanks! ; )

It's a nice tutorial. It makes me so angry that a program as sophisticated as Photoshop will not pass on EXIF information when I Save For Web. I *want* all of the metadata that I encode in my photo files to stay with my pictures, and too many photo apps just discard that data as if I don't know what I am doing. It is frustrating to lose the data, and as frustrating to be insulted in that way.

What is your device make and model? Maybe I can point you in the right direction. Every device is different.

Root for this device looks shaky and possibly dangerous. Keep an eye on this thread over at XDA Developers - PM me here or on XDA if you have any more questions - I do not want to hijack this comment thread for our conversation ;) Nice device! Cheers!

Saving as jpeg as a means to wash out sensitive information? LOL! There is other interesting metadata in the jpeg the guy did not talk about.
