This was so much fun dude! And I'm glad we've got this video to remember it by. Thanks for letting me come over and watch Psych while you and Ivy did all the hard work
Since you're trying new things on the channel, i would love if you took a look in flying cinematic FPV. Not only the sometimes excruciatingly frustrating building part, but also capturing Nature around the corner in CO and on adventures would be great fun i bet. Keep it up :)
@@chriscrewl2890 we were referring to the tallneck moc, which came out before the official, it is around 7k+ pieces and around 3ft tall, hence the price
I ordered this one and the new 35" tallneck. Never put Legos together before but I'm anxious to start. I've seen ppl light up the Thunderjaws eyes. Hopefully I can as well. Buying the official tallneck as well just for the aloy figure. Great job btw. Could the legs be glued in place so u could cut away the stand?
You could probably get it to stand if you glued the feet down but it's a little off balance without the stand. The official tallneck set looks pretty sweet, might have to snag one when they come out.
I own both sets. Built the Thunderjaw but not the tallneck yet. The Thunderjaw took over 30 hours to build and was very tedious. I did also get the eyes to light up. On aliexpress, you can buy lightsabers with leds in the hilts. I cut down the lightsaber piece to exact size length the eyes are, and attached them to the eye sockets and it looks so much better. Hopefully you'll have some good luck with it too
@@alexanderlee3842 I did exactly that last week lol. I got 3 general grievous usb sets from brickstore so I don't have to worry about batteries. There was a review on aliexpress and the guy tried to make it sound so mysterious on how he got the eyes to light up. I started on the tallneck first. I've put many hours into the build. I have the base and skeleton built and have completed the outside build of one and a half legs. The only thing I don't like about it is that the white pieces are kind of off white(cream). Sometime I may go to the lego store and switch them
very nice, looking at getting one myself. It is possible to get the link to the ali store you got it from? theres soo many identical thunderjaws for sale and i want to play it safe, also how long did it take to build? seems like a good set to gather some mates to get it done in a day or two
I dont have a link, must have deleted the email, but the show was just called MOC. It took me a bit over 23 hours and I had help for around 8 hours of that spread out over a month.
Just go with the highest rated/most sold. Also look through the lower user reviews. If you decide to order it don't accept the reciept before checking the set includes everything. If theres any problem with your package don't be afraid to contact the retailer because they ship missing/broken parts for free 90% of the time. If they don't contact you back you can start a complaint with Aliexpress employees to get you money back. Good building!
I bought it on Aliexpress but it ask to provide my email address after the purchase so they provide instruction to build it. And why to they need our email after purchase if we already submited it when we creste an sccount lol? (Sorry for my bad english)
