Looks like a high end late 1930's stove. Somebody quite rich owned this originally.Lots of excellent and knowledgeable craftsmanship went into this restoration.I am impressed ! In any field, there area few stand-out shops that do fine work.. and clearly we are seeing one here ! Bravo !
the chambers stove that i own and use also came with a size fit pot for the well and a GRILL. this was original from my great grandparents when they got it. the grill part blows my mind but it actually works really well although it is messy as hell. but the pot was intended to turn the well into a slow cooker, although the burner in the well also outputs more heat than any of the other burners (and that is saying allot, even the weak burner on the back packs more btu's than the average modern consumer gas burner) so i suspect you could get a pot (or even user the aluminum one that came with it) as a deep fat fryer. actually thinking about this has just reminded me that i am looking for a deep fat fryer and i might in fact already own one, fuck me.
I can't believe it has been 7 years since I posted this video. We are still restoring stoves and have improved the process and shortened the time frame. Visit www.stovelady.com to get a beautifully restored stove in your home today. They last so long that they are actually less expensive over time than the new high end stoves.
I LOVE this so much. I called you years ago about my chambers and you were very kind on the phone, but I couldn't afford the repair. I am hoping that 2020 will be a good year!!!
i have a very similar stove at home, and our well pilot light doesn't seem to work. when we first got it from my great grandmother we had to convert it from propane to natural gas, did we maybe miss something in that conversion that stopped the well pilot from working right? it works fine if you light it manually. oh and wow your griddle and broiler are shiny. ours are original (was bought new by my great grandfather in the 50s) and are raw aluminum. did you plate them? or different model?
What did you guys do to refinish that griddle burner? Isn't that cast iron? How did you get it to look so nice and silver? I'm refinishing one and would love to see it look so nice!
Have you ever converted a chambers to propane? The size of the hole in the regulator is much smaller.. is it just the one regulator oriface for the whole stove? If so then isnt my RV's regulator enough of a conversion?
I have this exact stove. My grandmother bought it brand new. It has been passed down to me, and it needs some repairing. I would like to have it done. However, I will be doing it. More cost effective. More time needed.
HI, I bought a house in New Orleans and a Chambers range came with it, looks like a model B according to my research. It is a mess and missing a couple parts by the looks of it. I've been looking for a restoration shop but the three leads I got were a dead end as they are out of business. I'm looking for a restoration shop so maybe you may know of someone relatively close to my city? Any help would be much appreciated.
so i got a royal rose maybe the 70 my burners work good what a match so does the burns in the oven work no work no electic plug need so what am i missing my whole house is back in the past only time i fix it if it breaks maybe i like to think of slower times so how can i get the oven burner on it like new maybe used 10 x but my dad loves to save shit so gas we don.t use he don.t pay for can u tell me how my oven works what out elictic is not pluged in no cords
I am interested in buying a Chamber Stove what should I look for before buying one? Is there anything special to know before I buy one, and will one of these run off propane? Also what is the well used for and do you need any special equipment for this stove?
Alaskan Hunter you should visit chamberstoves.net before buying anything. if you are in the NY area contact us www.stovelady.com people often go out and buy the stove and then come to us. come to us first.
I don't think that will work. The beauty of these ranges are their simplicity. But since it has been a year since I have seen comments I would love to know how it worked out if you did it.
Oh and o n another note could not that well be converted into a deep fryer by simply putting in the appropriate sized pots and turning up the gas filling it with oil
Hi- Im about to buy a chambers stove that is in better condition than this one was before restoration. They want $400, which I think is good. there is some rust but not too much. How do I get the racks rechromed? How do I deal with the rust that is there? The well will only light manually right now. Any thoughts on what would be wrong? Thanks!!!
While we can’t promise you a $50 stove we can get the stove you want and restore it with loving care. Then you can share your newfound happiness with the world.
Love what you're doing; and preserving culinary history for the future!
Thank you, Gregory!! I love working with these stoves!

Yes we have parts. I will check out your video.
You can use a copper polish to clean it. You may want to have it professionally restored because they put a lacquer on it to help prevent this issue.
good job
I’m thinking of getting a vintage stove to restore but to put a induction range into it? Any thoughts?
I don't think that will work. The beauty of these ranges are their simplicity. But since it has been a year since I have seen comments I would love to know how it worked out if you did it.
