just a quick check in- I am still alive. burnt like a lobstah red and sweating south of the equator.
can't stay in the port we're had planned a stop in. we put crippled up lines (normal doubled up) to hold us but this port is right on the breakwater so it's a but dangerous for us to stay. use this opportunity to say hi- I am alive. 2 months till retirement leave starts!

It's great to see an update from you, and I'm very happy to hear you're that close to ETS (as we called it in the Army). I retired in October, I'm loving it, getting time to do all the things I've been planning to do "once I have the time." All the best to you, I'll keep you in my thoughts as you get closer to the happy day.
