#1 reason I decided to start raising meat birds was knowing where the chicken came from and what it was fed. I had to cull one of my egg layers due to it being a psychopath and it was the best chicken I'd ever eaten. I have Buff Orpingtons on the way since they will be dual purpose. Great video. I'm surprised you don't have way more subs. Looking forward to part 6, as I'm interested in the growth rate of the Buff since I have to cull quickly due to flock size limits.
How I wish I knew of this tractor system earlier, I lost over sixty chickens to stoat and about twelve rabbits already, but the bunnies hutch is now fortified. Thanks for sharing this video
Not much. I don't have to fill that big water container everyday. So each time I do fill it, probably every other day I just put a couple splashes of acv. Yes I give it to my rabbits. Usually I will take a 1 gallon milk jug and fill it with water then add a splash of acv to it. And I'll just give it to my rabbits that way.
My chickens spend most of there time free ranging. I mostly use it to keep them in at night. They are not full grown yet and are still young so this tractor works out great for them. I do have two chicken tractors that I use once they get bigger. But like I said, they free range everyday.
