- 📲 Take control of the Both IR4 and the RF4 with the Both Lighting App.
💒 Check out how I made a custom color scheme (lavender) for a clients wedding using the lighting app. I also used the pre dance modes after ceremony and dinner for the reception! And it worked perfectly.
📲 Note: the app does get glitchy and needs to be updated, but Im super excited for the update hopefully soon!

These are truly revolutionary. Some people are hating on them because they are made in China. But the American made IDJ and Chauvet are getting WAAY to pricey for the average mobile DJ. Plus the APP makes these even more attractive.
Some of those brand Rockville lights roll out of the same factory in China.
A lot of the DJ industry products are made in China with a US branding.

I was just testing it out but I can’t get a nice gold color on the color wheel. I’m not sure if you are having that issue.
Try using the RGB values. I didn’t have a problem dialing in the perfect color for a wedding 💒 we had recently
Do we have to reset this process all over when using them each event?
Yes you would have to connect your device to the master wifi network at each gig. each unit make a unique network, but once your connected they are easy to control without any additional software or costs.

Can you set the lights in different groups and control each group with the app?
Not with this simple app. I believe it’s possible but you wound need additional software.
Probably need two iOS devices maybe?
