How have these held up? I have two maxis but want four more just having a hard time justifying the price versus these or chauvet. How’s the battery life also? Also - mad props for doing this vid!!
Thanks for comparing the I4 side-by-side with the S4. I do have one quick question. When you had all of the S4s around the room they appear to be in some type of a chase mode and multiple colors. Were you doing that with a remote control or a controller? Did you have them on separate DMX channels? How did you get them to change different colors at different times and multicolor at the same time?
@@justingarret4776 true that but these companies in the USA have employees that live & work here, pay taxes and contribute to our workforce. Isn't that a lot better argument than just getting boxes sent from China.
@@oldschooldjernie ADJ, and Chauvet have been dropping the ball. I don't blame people. ADJ hasn't come out with any new good DJ light effects in years which I am disappointed with. Also, neither of these companies came out with small portable up lights like these IR 4s. Hell, Guitar Center is still trying to sell 10+ year old ADJ LED lights that are outdated by today's standards. IE. EZ Par 56 and EZ Par 64. ADJ seems to have chose to forget about mobile DJs and chase the Big Club owners with their big moving head lights last few years.
Absolutely. I know it was long but hopefully there is something that is beneficial to someone.
Just what I needed, thanks. Have the S6 now and wanted to buy some IR4 or RF4 to use for inside trussing but now see they won’t match. Bummer
How are you controlling your lights to get that chase etc?

You have two different models, but are controlling them both at the same time. How are the configured and what are you using to change the colors?

@@djtrevorowens same question! Niceee!
@@djtrevorowens @appalachinadj thanks for the demonstration was very helpful. Can you show me how you were chasing those lights with ir’s.
I don't use a DMX controller and have 10 of these. Can I get mine to chase without a controller like yours do @ 2:50 on your video?
What preset number was the candle light color on the IR4? Thanks.
excellent video. what progeam or tools you use to dmx it?
Thanks for making this!!
No problem!!
Do you know if the IR4s work with the Ape Labs charging case?
How many S4's did you use/buy?
I have so many Chauvet and ADJ products. FYI.
support USA companies like Chauvet and ADJ❤
What if you don't live in America?
@@mafeetaritchie6927 that chubby Dj guy on this channel does though
Not like their lights are made in the US either. They're all from China. People are just cutting out the middleman.
