I'm a casual geocacher who hasn't gone out for a while, but I just introduced my 5 year old granddaughter to the fun and now I'm excited about geocaching again. Since I can't geocache 24/7, I'm watching all the geocaching videos I can find. So glad your channel popped up in my feed. UA-cam recommended this one specifically and ironically, yesterday, we discovered a new-ish one in my little town and it was in a Little Free Library. So fun! Also . . . super jealous of your cool libraries. ~ DietCokeGirl
I have found two terrific library caches. The first one was the Washoe County Library in Reno, Nevada. I had no idea what to expect. The library is on the National Historic Register and is so cool! The book was easy to find. The second was in Boulder, Colorado called Thomas Tomes. First you look up cities named Thomas and add up the resulting numbers. You plug that into an equation, which gives you the call number of the book. It's a real book that can be checked out! It was there, so I signed it. The book was about world geography.
I’ve done one of these! Only ever done one in a library! It was in an old library in an old building! It was cool though and was actually in a fake book! Nice find and nice idea!
I missed the January library cache. I have a container in my shed, but I haven't gotten up the nerve to approach the library. That is an impressive library. I have found about a dozen library caches. What I remember most was how nice each librarian was if I needed help like the time the book had been moved from the general section to the Reference Book Section to keep it safer. Thanks for sharing your day with us. UA-cam watching done. It's time to start editing the video I shot today.
That's one heck of an impressive library! :O Our first library cache was in the library in Kirkland, WA. I think if you look through the logbook you might be able to see the picture I drew in there many years ago.
This is awesome. I have not found a library cache yet. I was set to find one a few years ago as part of Cache Advance's Geochallenge of the Month but never go to it. Then the lockdown. I should try to get it this year.
Is it ok to use themes from previous months for creating our caches? I find this one really creative but I joined just recently so Im still both learning and making plans on what kind of caches I could make after I get a bit more experienced.

That is awesome! I’m glad it reached you. I learned through UA-cam videos as well, and it’s my way of sharing as I learn :)
Carlo! This is so great!! So professionally shot, edited, lit...everything! Really well done! Oh, and Geocaching is super cool too.
Mimi! So nice to hear from you! Thank you for watching :) I hope your own adventures are going well. Go find some caches lol!
I will! @@JustCarloGeocaching
Love the library geocaches we have found. Little free libraries are a wonderful places to hide. Great explanation and container. Thanks.
Thank you!
I love the new format Carlo. This was a fun, informative, and really well crafted video.
Thanks for the feedback and glad you enjoyed it! I've been trying plan ahead a bit more and make some more intentional content. More to come!

They're fun to find, for sure. Thanks for watching!

I'm curious about that process myself, but I'm also pretty shy. At least the owner of the free little library is someone I know. Updates on that soon!

It’s an interesting design. There are shops and restaurants in the ground level. At first my kids thought it was a mall.
@@JustCarloGeocaching That's what I thought it was when I first saw it here.

They’re great for a rainy day-which we get a lot of in the PNW.

Of course! I say go for it anytime 😊. the themes are just suggestions after all. I’m getting a little behind myself as life gets busy.
