- In this video we will make and deploy a 3d printed rock shaped container to be used as a geocache. There is a fun game being played around the world in real life using the GPS in your smartphone or a personal GPS device. Geocaching is worldwide scavenger hunt for hidden surprises. Some are very small and contain only a little log to sign, or they may be larger and have space to exchange trinkets. I fint that the larger ones are a bit more exciting to find when you have kids with you. Check out the website www.geocaching.com for more info. There is an app for apple and android for it as well. It is free to play, though if you get hooked, you may want to pay for the premium membership for more access and game play control.

well done
That primer/filler paint works much better if sprayed in thin multiple coats. Thick coats just fill the valleys and do not smooth out the layer lines.
Good point. I may have been a bit impatient knowing I would be coating with sand as well.
I pre-order my first ever 3D printer. It's a resin printer called the Elegoo Saturn 2. I'm excited for it.
have fun! I don't know about resin for outdoor longevity, but I am pretty sure you will have very detailed models!

Thank you! I will try. :D
I'm thinking, even if the resin isn't too good in the elements, the paint might help seal it from the weather? Maybe it's worthy of further testing.
