Spot on analysis bro! There are some shows that are just way over the top and do no good for our minds and heart while others can bring a fresh perspective or teach us some viable lessons like believing in yourself, the power of friendship, and that ramen is amazing.
I was an Anime addict. I was watching all of it being Naruto, Attack on Titan, Demon slayer, because I thought to myself, “This isn’t really bad anime.” But later on I watched Berserk and that messed me up. I then realized that I was lusting after some of these anime characters and I was watching some pretty dark stuff. I have now decided that No matter what anime your watching, it is still in the genre of anime itself. So I repent of all dark Tv shows in Jesus name and I will only watch light hearted action movies and shows.
Thanks for sharing G-Man! Anime is not inherently evil but there are some genres of anime that are not very faith-building. Thanks for your transparency! ✌🏽
@@pastordreamervlogs So I have a question, what anime can we watch if they're not all inherently evil? And also I'm 14 and I watch anime for entertainment because think the art style is pretty. And I'm actually thinking of pursuing my career in it too, but after some research, I've started to doubt that idea. But I'd still like to do animation and arts (cause I like art and storytelling) So would that still be okay? And just asking, would it be a sin to pursue a career in the anime (like as a director)?
@@w_7414 thats a great question, my friend! I would disagree that anime is inherently evil. Anime is a blank slate that creators pour into. They will pour into it what lies in their hearts. This should not be a discouragement to you in any way. Anime is thriving and the demand for it is only growing. I would encourage you to pursue your dreams but use the opportunity to create something that pours positivity and hope into the world instead of darkness and nihilism. You can bring a breath of fresh air into an industry that often steers into bleakness and negativity. Keep up the grind and don't give up. I will keep you in my prayers! be blessed!
You are the only person ive seen who has kept it real on this issue.. youre not looking for acceptance from man, but from GOD alone... new sub here brother
@@pastordreamervlogs definitely.. i see sooooo many professing christians try so hard to justify some of the most carnal things.. they shoukd just keep it real with GOD and themselves.. thanx for being real with this topic
I really love one piece but I know I can't it, ever since I stopped Ive been getting very tempted to watch it and resisted and then I started dreaming about the characters and still resisting
I'm a christian that watches anime and although I love it, I don't let it like decide my life or influence my life unless I find something that's like a Christian message or teaching although it wasn't intended to be that way. I also use them as an inspiration bcz I want to create a biblically accurate Christian animanga(anime and manga)
Same I watch marvel DC shows etc but I don't let it change who I am I don't choose that stuff over God. What some people dont realize is that there is evil/ demonic stuff that we see happen in this world everyday. And most of the time demonic is shown in anime it is shown as evil (usually).
One thing that I want to do in life is to become a superhero creator. What I mean superheroes are:, Batman, Superman, Green Lantern etc. What do you say about? What do you think God telling to me. About my Superhero: Superhero name: Ti-wol (Tiger Wolf) Superpower: he can release the spirit of tiger and wolf from his body. He also have Bo Staff, he knows Kung Fu, and he have motorcycle. Perspective: he believe in Bible Another one, in this story dragon is included as one of the animal spirit. Every characters have their own story. To the other people that reading this comment, you can answer.
My thoughts are this. Lots of Anime have very Christian messages, Shounen in particular; the bad guy who gets beaten up by the good guy but later becomes the good guy’s friend, a great message about forgiveness, a previously despicable character going through a character Arc(or several depending on the Anime) to become a better person, that’s a great message on redemption, An optimistic protagonist that’s eager to help and improve himself, that can easily be an allegory for faith and our walk with god(true we’re supposed to love our opponents and not beat them to a pulp but that’s neither here nor there). My main point is this; as long as you don’t let it dominate your life to the point where it’s an idol, Anime is fine to watch. Plus if you find yourself questioning your faith and belief in God after watching a show about bug-eyed Moi girls or buff spiky haired guys screaming at the top of their lungs, that says more about your faith than the thing you’re watching.
Thanks for the comment, Justin! You have a great worldview by which to process your faith. That is a great thing indeed. Unfortunately, many young people like you do not have such a tool as you have to where their faith is always hanging by a thin thread. Yes, this is on the person, but i think it is best to approach them in a sphere of grace for we do not know their stories. I also see those things that you have mentioned about anime and i cherish them. Are all things about anime great? No. But i think the good outweighs the bad. Thanks!
Yeah but at what cost? Naruto is def one of the top animes out there, but they are telling you to rely on a demon posses hero to use demonic powers from an actual false god to save humanity. You have to really look closely at it. Most anime include Japanese false gods and demons.
I'm a Christian and I watch anime. Recently, I thought of watching *sailor moon* and *sailor moon crystal* but I decided not to due to the following reasons: 1) some characters have crescent moon symbols on their forehead and use other symbols for fighting 2) the anime is really dark, especially sailor moon crystal 3) in sailor moon crystal, one of the characters was called the Messiah And one of the characters' soul gets stolen 4) some scenes get too intense to watch 5) as a Christian, watching this kind of stuff makes me feel.... guilty. What are your thoughts on this topic?
Thanks for your honesty, my friend! In my opinion, I believe that we should trust the guidance if God’s Holy Spirit and not ignore its call. I believe you have experienced that watching Sailor Moon. Although I do not remember much of the anime, I know that magic and witchcraft was an element of the show. Your choice to dodge this content is wise, and I believe that wisdom comes from God. Take care!
Yeah, that is why I like watching the clean romance anime’s like Snow White with red hair. But sometimes I watch action stuff like One Piece. I honestly don’t understand why so many anime’s have demons in them .____.
It's part of their culture I believe, but these demons are not the exact replica of the demons in the Bible. If demons are portrayed as evil, I have no problems. If demons, however, are portrayed as cool, edgy, sociable, and misunderstood beings, then I usually avoid watching them. That's why I avoid shows like Jujutsu Kaisen. It's pretty much Naruto, but instead of cool jutsus, they use demonic magic and display excessive amounts of occult.
You are absolutely right, my friend! Shinto is foundational to Japanese understanding of the supernatural and its relation to the natural world. Demons are often varied between good, neutral, and evil.
Christians and Muslims have by default the overwhelming majority of anime and manga demographics because they make up the majority of the world’s population together (and their share keeps growing), especially for the large shonen franchises (dragon ball, saint seiya, naruto etc) whose audience is overwhelmingly latino which are all devout christians in the global south, moreover the overwhelming majority of christians are from asia, africa and the global south so it does not make sense to place small perception boxes by the minority western countries which are becoming Islamic as well in the first place as the muslim population is replacing their native population with the spread of islam.
anime and manga are the largest mediums and encompass virtually everything, all themes and genres, and are not limited to a specific culture, rather they are universal and eternal, there are hundreds of anime and manga with heavy christian imagery and symbolism, moreover because humans are made in the Image of God, there are some things that everyone knows innately regardless of where or when they are born, which are reflected and taken for granted in anime and manga all the time such as God, prayer, souls and the afterlife, alongside christian values such self-sacrifice and serving others.
Anime? No. Not anymore. I see people talking about how anime sometimes ends up teaching you good stuff like ‘believing in yourself’. But that is not good content. That is a lie telling you that you can do all things or anything by your own strength. But the funny thing is that you are only alive through God. There’s no believing in yourself here because the truth is YOU’RE NOT ENOUGH. You cannot give yourself life. Anime (and just media from the world in general) blinds you from having a wholistic view of the truth. If you were to say ‘oh this anime is not all bad because it’s not every time there’s war or sex display or witch craft, just some places here or there’ you end up excusing the amine entirely. And that is the manipulation of the devil. In Haggi 2:3 we come to understand that even the slightest inclusion or touch from what is evil can turn the whole thing unclean and evil too and it will affect you. Even Paul explains in Galatians 5:9 that a little yeast added will affect the whole dough. And so I tell you this: do not make room for sin, do not give the Devil a chance [Ephesians 4:27]. It’s so funny how OP started with Naruto lore cause I still have a sore foot on it. I used to excuse some of the evil in Naruto cause I wanted to keep watching it. The story was fun and it was long to entertain me for the whole summer. But God sat me down and made me understand the realities of it. As a big movie person it does not help that there are not that much Christian influences in movies, I could count the amount of engaging true-to-Christian-doctrine movies there are on one hand. But I have chosen this path, I have chosen Jesus not movies or entertainment so instead I’ll listen to Him when He speaks. Anyways, all I want to say is just Psalm 101:3 ‘Set no worthless thing before your eyes’ and despise what God despises too.
Ask the Holy Spirit to fill you and give you discernment in everything you watch. There is good and bad in every show. And pay attention to how things affect you.
Malachi 2:6 The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: he walked with me in peace and equity, and did turn many away from iniquity. Hebrews 10:17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
I only watch 2-3 animes I’ve been watching Naruto for a while, I watched spy x family, and I’m now starting MHA, I think you can watch stuff like that, but just keep your eye out for the devil, he comes in mysterious ways.
What do you think of demon slayer? The title seems weirdly bad but It's actually pretty good in terms of the leassons it teaches, especially when it comes to the main character Tanjiro, it teaches mercy and forgiveness, which I like, no sexual scenes which I like
www.gotquestions.org/Christian-anime.html At the end of the day, you just have to be discerning about the anime you watch. Do they go against the Bible? Are you able to separate the good from the bad?
I have seen the anime, I think this is just your classic good vs evil story. Overall I enjoy the fact that there arent overly sexualized characters in the show.
@@ReformedNerd Yess, I love the fact that they're not making it sexual or stuff like that, though the next arc is about the red light district, it doesn't have any lewd scenes, just some of the characters will be dressed a little provocative, but I don't think that's the show trying to invoke your feelings of lust, I think It's just that the people in that arc are workers in that regard so that's what comes with that, but all in all, it doesn't show nudity or any sex scenes
@@aletheiahenosis5962 ooo gotcha I think that ultimately if the anime is showcasing the reality of a subject matter it's ok. I think when it comes to showing inappropriate shots just to show them (I'm sure you know what I mean) thats where it's an issue. Overall though if someone struggles with watching stuff like that it's better to stay away. It would be like watching anything else, you know what I mean?
Its cool to see so many Christians here that enjoy anime. Thought my friends and I were the only ones lol I made my channel hoping to find more of us hope to connect with you all God bless!
Unless someone turns to Jesus more and read his word, then a person does not have a critical lense to judge from. That is the important part. Because all people can make judgements about what they think is good or bad, but it doesn't mean it is in line with God. if you are not filled with looking to God and away from the world, but are still looking to find ways to indulge in anime, weeding out the good from the bad, is your heart really in the right place? What anime has characters with a worldview that includes Jesus? Who will want a world without Jesus other than Satan? What anime is teaching biblical values and spiritual discernment? Because there is lots of content out there made by people who do not believe in Jesus and hate Jesus.... Will you drink a glass of water with a small drop of poison in it?
Thanks for the perspective! I hope that this approach works for you. I do not believe that an “escapist” approach to media in the world is beneficial to our teaching pf Bible truth in today’s world and I will tell you why I believe this: 1. An escapist mentality fuels the “us vs the world” approach which can be detrimental in our “going therefore and baptiZing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. It shelters us from the world and alienates us from their culture, language, and ideologies. As Paul ministered in Athena in Acts 17, I believe that we must be educated in the viewpoints of people and be able to use them as vehicles by which we can introduce the truth of God. We soften the contrast of the Gospel and introduce it in familiar terms to the people around us. 2. An escapist mentality can open the door to judgement-fueled evangelism which in turn can be embraced by others as condemning, criticizing, and belittling. This frightens people and they view Jesus with a lens of fear and not one of Love. Jesus ate with sinners and made friends with sinners while they were still in their sin. We need to learn to be comfortable and minister in other people’s “home courts” first instead of trying to bring them to our “home court” just so we can evangelize them. If you value your protection of what ever you deem dangerous ideology in this world, then your approach is valid. I value reaching our of my comfort zone and understanding people in their world before I work with them to bring them to Jesus. One is not better than the other, just different.
Im just curious about an anime called seven deadly sins. The show has Arthurian legends and some stuff from the bible like 7 deadly sins and the 10 commandments which are portrayed as a characters, for example the character named meliodas is the sin of wrath(one of the 7 deadly sins) and gowther which is the sin of lust(one of the 7 deadly sins). There is action aswell as demons and angels. I really like the concept but im not sure if its good to watch. Plus I dont want to devote my life into the anime but I js want to watch it for entertainment since im usually bored alot. Should I watch it?
I don’t think I’m the right person to answer this question lol, but I recently looked into that show’s premise because I was curious too. From what I understood, reading from its wiki, the show is about these 7 characters, based off of the 7 deadly sins, fighting against this group or something, and I think the group is portrayed as bad and corrupt, and the group has some connection to the 10 commandments. It seems like the show is reversing what is good and what is bad when it comes to God and sin. I think the concept is interesting too, but I don’t support putting God’s words in a negative light and protagonizing (if that’s even a word) sinful behavior. So in short I would say avoid the show. But maybe do more research about it if you’re still not sure, because I might be wrong.
I got deep into anime in 2020 and watched some shows I regret watching. I don't think all anime is bad and I agree with you on being discerning of what shows you consume when watching. I've honestly found that some anime show portrayals of Christian values and sacrificial love.
I have a sort of different type of question: is it ok to get the tattoo with my favourite anime character? To be more precise, I'm talking about Chihiro Ogino from Spirited Away because actually this movie is very sentimental to me. I was struggling with depression for many years and even lost my strong faith for a while. But I remember I was still praying and what's more, one day I decided to watch this anime and after it I kind of wanted to make my life better again and I think I became a better person and also I was able to build up my faith during that time. It's just that this little girl and her struggles in the adult world were reminding me of mine and yeah, this movie was kind of breaking point in many aspects of my life...
If you haven't already gotten the tattoo, it's ok to get it. I think God cares more about the intentions behind things than what the thing actually is--of course, there are a lot of exceptions (such as, do not murder, etc.). As long as you aren't getting it for an immoral reason, it's ok. I'm a Christian and I watch anime and believe getting a tattoo of your favorite anime character, especially since she "helped" you in your life, is not bad or immoral. Good films/shows inspire me to do good; in a way, they're just another way for God's glory to be known to others.
I don’t think you should get it tbh. I like the movie Spirited away and have watched it many time at a hard time in life, but some things aren’t so innocent. You don’t know who made that character design and the things that are attached to the image spiritually, tattoos are permanent. Don’t take the risk and then on judgement day find out it was not okay with God yk
is Sailor Moon okay? it’s about super-hero and friendship, and Avatar that’s about bending elements and it might sound satanic but it’s really good, so what do you say? ^^
Sailor Moon 🌙 is a classic. It generally boasts a positive theme and format. I have watched it long ago. Sailor moon is pretty kid friendly if I remember correctly. The American version is edited for even more compatibility for minors. I support! 👍🏽. I have also seen avatar, although not all of it. One would ask, “is Avatar even Anime?” (Since it didnt originate in Japan as all anime do). Avatar is also kid friendly and boasts a positive message for kids. I would say i support both shows. The presence of magic in any show, book, movie, etc. doesnt make it Satanic. The genre of fantasy requires us to suspend our disbelief to enjoy the content. On the other hand, shows such as Jujutsu Kaisen, Fuletal Alchemist, and Demon Slayer are examples of shows that make it their agenda to boast magic in a satanic or demonic theme and image. Conclusion: be picky!
Do people view mediums differently? For example I have been convicted over the new doctor strange movie not to see it, I’ve asked severally older more mature Christians on my church and some agreed and others said it defends on spiritual maturity, in that same sense I love anime (which is why im here) but my parents think it has a demonic spirit on it but I am already careful on the anime I watch as I know their are demonic shows and sexual anime’s. For example my favorite anime is Danganronpa and they think it is demonic and satanic but I disagree since it’s about hope overcoming immense despair and have never been told by the Holy Spirit to turn it off. In other veins I’ve seen shows like teen titans go while watching tv with my singling and darker characters such as raven bring up questions if you can still watch the show, but I guess that’s individual. Sorry for throwing up on you but do you have any thoughts? :)
Funny you mention Dr Strange. I am coming out with a video on that very soon so keep an eye out! I understand the struggle. There are different approaches to all media (anime included); conservative, moderate, and liberal. In talking about anime on this channel I have spoken to all 3. The conservatives seem to always bash anime and movies calling them all evil content. The Liberals simply devour absolutely everything that comes their way without distinction. I choose to be moderate in my stance. The reason I do so is because I know that some content is not beneficial at all for our growth with Christ. But I also know that Anime, movies, etc. are the language of today’s generation. It’s part of their vernacular. How can I reach young people for jesus if I do not speak their language? Lets continue in prayer about this journey of ours. It is not easy Jadens, but I believe that if we surrender it to God, He will guide us through it. He will help us find the gems and hooks within anime and movies to communicate Jesus to our friends. Don’t lose hope!
I understand this topic very well and am a Christian. I have always found an attraction to avant garde and edgy anime such as REDLINE and sometimes things like Cowboy Bebop. I have sometimes felt temptation to look at a woman in certain attire and may have slipped and glanced. Does this mean I should avoid anime completely? Is it a sin? I know that according according Scripture, whoever looks at a woman with lustful intent has committed adultery in his heart. Please, help
Thanks for the comment. It is true that anime body dimensions for women are a bit exaggerated and often creators transpose their Fantasies on to female characters in anime. I know what you mean, I have been there. I know the text you mentioned and I do not believe it applies here since the object is fictional and not a real woman. However, I would also caution that we do not chase intimate connections with animated characters. This can become a habit that could steal from our interactions with the opposite sex im real life. We could limit real connection with a gf or wife if we nurture an intimite fantay with a make-belief character. Some advice my friend. Keep watching anime but be aware of this. Hope this helps!
In my opinion is better to not much anime because you are vulnerable to be tempted again. The Bible says that you should flee from the sinn, so not really playing around the fire to see how close you can get to it without burning yourself. You should try to watch lighter animes :) Hope this helps
I remember watching a lot of anime. But now I find myself not interested in a lot of them because I've wised up. An anime that needs fanservice to get me interested in watching means it's not that great. I also give a bad character a chance. Maybe they redeem themselves. But yeah, some anime shows shouldnt be watched.
You should try Trigun- made by a Japanese catholic Jojo- while not a Christian at the moment (tho im praying for him) he geew up in a catholic private school, and keeps some bible imagery and themes in his works
Hey, friend! I don’t think that there is necessarily a “right genre” since all have their strengths and weaknesses. I do agree with skipping the things that don’t fit with our Christian narrative.
Is listening to comfort audio from a character while using it to fall asleep a sin? For example, I listen to this at night: ua-cam.com/video/LizAvslCR7w/v-deo.html . Its been really helping me fall asleep and feel comforted. I don't think any sexual thoughts while listening, just feeling of comfort and as if hes holding me, but I don't know if thats sexual or not. I really want to know because I can't find anything about it online.
tyyy :) I started watching dangaropa and I was so scared to watch it for so long. i finally started and I loved it , I didn’t feel conviction and I thought of exploring different animes. I click off if it’s overly sexual or they swear in the Lords name. 😰😰 Edit: or anything demonic
Personally if the anime is not sexual or if it is a pure slice of life with good messages that Christians can relate to then that sort of anime is ok to be watched
hey friend! I have never seen this show but i believe that the principles of the first video that I have on Anime, Vlog 7, kind of explain my view. I am not fond of witchcraft symbolism and I believe that it desensitizes us to real witches and witchcraft to the level that we look upon it as a hobbie or a passtime while it is actually evil.
@@Vincent-yp1gj ik. it might be hard to decide to watch jojo or not. But i noticed one thing. Tarot cards are used for predicting the future and witchcraft. But what the cards in jojo do is naming the stands. But yeah i will still think about that.
@@Vincent-yp1gj I agree. it is violent but violence is not a spiritual thing. And if you would commit a sin then the sin is that you take the anime or any movie seriously and compare it to real life. Its all bout your soul. If you feel like the movie or anime is sinful then dont watch. But if you take it as a pure fiction then you are aware that its all virtual and has no connection with real movies. Atleast its my perspective. Ps. Hey friend, i know the difference between the two. No need for education here. But the hypersexualization mentioned in these videos refer to the consistent objectification of many female characters in anime for the sake of “fan service”. Animators in japan have no limitations when it comes to this. I think you didn’t understand the intention behind my videos at all. They don’t bash anime, they praise it BUT the videos are clear about some ugly marks of the anime industry. These marks cannot go ignored and we should be aware of them. Talk about them. And approach Anime with God-given direction. Be blessed!
yes you can watch mha!! stick to your convictions and what you feel God is telling you to do. if you don’t get convicted then it’s okay, but if you feel like you shouldn’t be watching it, then drop it! and this goes for every anime you watch in the future as well.
Depicting beasts and monsters in itself is not sin, it's all about the point the story is making. Read you bible, pray and ask God for discernment to guard your heart and mind. He makes you sensitive, Holy Spirit is your best friend.
I do not watch it myself. I do believe that the warning signs mentioned in the video give a good guidance point for us to converse with the Spirit about. Let the Spirit lead. Hope this helps

I know very little about Assassination Classroom. Kakegurui is a little crazy with the psychoness and the emphasis on sexual arousal. I personally like to steer clear from any anime that with gratuitousness. Let me explain. If an anime has too much hypersexualization for no reason at all, i tend to avoid it. The same with violence. If sex and violence is overused in a show as a gimmick to try to elevate the show then I know the story isnt 100%. I like a good show that has moderation on those things and if those things are in a show the Definitely have to serve a purpose for the plot or else I get annoyed by it. I love good characters and a good story. If a show needs to put a lot of weight on sex, violence, nihilism, etc. Its usually because the story isnt that strong. My opinion. You are free to do what you want. I love anime and am looking to start a new show soon (a scifi one since scifi is my fav anime genre). I hope this helps. Let’s stay in conversation. Blessings! Take care!
Hey so if you haven't started Assassination Classroom yet, I'd say to go for it. I would say please, beware of the fanservice mostly by one of the teachers in the show. It has some good messages though, and is probably my favorite of all time:)
@@KarmaAkabane-im3kr thanks for the recommendation! I will look into it for myself soon. I have a small list of shows that I want to get into right now.
Im working on an anime or right now manga of my own. And it is inspired by the Bible. There will be no sexualization, violence and blood will be minimal and there will be morality and faith in God. It ends with 60% of humanity going to heaven.
It’s really hard to stop watching the things I grew up on. Most of it is based in Buddhism, Hinduism, Shinto, and other religions with a dash of Christianity. Only very few out of the many options are like okay to watch. Problem is, I’m addicted to the mainstream anime series .
Often times what is mainstream isnt the best. Sometimes, I rather read a summary of an episode or a show instead of watching it just so I can stay in the loop. Sometimes it’s the best thing to do. But I do understand the struggle. Stay strong, my friend!
Honestly I don't see anything wrong with dark themes and some sexual stuff, it's not a sin to watch sin on screen I would just be careful with it . For dark themes I love horror and dark related things as long as your not taking it to heart I don't see a problem with it just be careful and listen to your spiritual conscience now for sexual things If I feel like woah this has crossed the line for me I will skip the scene or if I can't look away and get on my phone normally with earbuds in. Ik not everyone will agree with me but this works for me fine
"Is this show promoting or glorifying sinful behavior and activity?" and is this being done consistently. The thing is, as humans we can be very undiscerning as to what is and is not affecting us. We also don't really know what a lot of anime are showing us. I'm a BIG Naruto fan, and the Boruto manga has been turning up lately with Code, Naruto, Borushiki and what not. And when it comes to Naruto for example, a lot of the concepts in Naruto like chakra, and images from jutsu like Sasuke's Kirin are derived from Japanese gods. Like for example, with Sasukes kirin, the name of the jutsu is derived from the Shinto god Quilin. Quilin according to the myths, was a spirit that would judge unrighteous souls. And his use of this jutsu represents his casting judgement on a particular character. Its hard to discern, I think we really have to lean on God for guidance. Other anime like AOT are really bleak and gory, and yet have fascinating, thought provoking stories. It's REALLY hard to discern because when you read the bible in books like Judges, a lot of terrible, gory, unspeakable things occur. And this is IN the word of God. Again I think the best question we can ask ourselves is, "Is this show promoting or glorifying sinful behavior and activity?" and is this being done consistently. The thing about the bible is even when terrible things happen, it is NEVER glorified, and I think thats one thing that sets it apart. The thing about some anime and horror movies is that you can unconciously glorifying the things in the show. Like if you watch a horror movie and leave saying "Thats a great movie!" then thats glorifying everything in the movie, demonic or know. But if you watch AOT, which isn't glorifying anything in it as far as the many deaths, actually it does the opposite, and you watch it, its quite different
Heard great things about it. but I hate to say this....never watched it hehe. maybe someday!!! But stick to the principles I showed in the video and you will be alright! take care!
If you guard your heart like proverb says than it's better not watching it all,.right? That is why I am here. I am praying to drop anime out of my life for good except there are some anime that shows the Bible which is acceptable. There is another world of anime; Dongua Chinese anime. Heaps of my favourite Chinese anime maybe more than Japanese? But now I feel it's not going to benefit my Faith. Like gaming console, they all can be treated like idols. This is like Adam and Eve, GOD told them not to eat the forbidden fruit but they fail to obey and paid the consequences.
@@pastordreamervlogs Amen. I've been receiving a lot from Holy spirit one step at a time. I gave up gaming console last year in Christmas and haven't had an itch since. The word of God and prayer is the key as well as the rest i.e church, fellowship, witnessing, and so forth. Jesus said he came to give us a sword. His two edge sword is not only to protect us from this sinful world but also from idols which GOD hates the most. GOD Bless
Violet Evergarden. Literally one of the most beautiful anime series ever, and it has a very heartwarming message. None of the strange stuff. A little bit of war-related violence in flashbacks. Probably one of the safest animes to watch for Christians. I can recommend others that I have watched but Violet Evergarden is a must-watch.
Yeah I was watching a show called my hero academia (I stopped tho waiting for the dub version of season 6) and In one part a girl was NAKED and this show is apparently for kids so yeah this fully convinced me to stop watching that. I have been watching another anime tho called the promised Neverland (haven't watched the 2nd season yet) it is basically about some kids finding out their demon food and trying to escape so imma try rewatching that to see if I should still watch it
That is very sketch! Hyper sexualized anime is never good. It seems many anime lean too much on the awkward surprise trope to put characters into sexualized situation. It’s redundant at some point. My thoughts.
Hey there I wanna ask something about the anime I loved it's called my hero academia. I was watching it but I saw an episode included magic on it! I know that magic is satanic and demonic. I'm so sad if its really bad to watch
My Hero is possibly the most popular anime out right now since superheroes are a big thing. Thanks for sharing. When it comes to seeing magic or any sort of dark arts on screen it is important to be honest with yourself and your Christian identity if you feel uncomfortable watching a particular episode. This particular anime doesnt seem to me on par with shows like Full Metal Alchemist or Death Note, or Jujutsu Kaisen or Demon Slayer. Those shows tend to lean a lot more on the demonic/dark side. In the end its up to you and your walk with Jesus. If you feel the Spirit nudging you to drop it, listen to it. I normally stick to a rule of thumb when it comes to selecting Anime. They must fit into one of these 3 Categories: 1. Sci-fi 2. Period Piece 3. Sports This parameter sort of keeps me away from Anime that leans into the demonic or dark arts. Hope this helps. Let me know how else I can help! Blessings!
@@pastordreamervlogs to be honest I really am still confused but I just need one answer. Is it really ok to watch it? It really breaks my heart to know if it really is wrong because by watching that makes my day and it's just really sad to end it
Spot on analysis bro! There are some shows that are just way over the top and do no good for our minds and heart while others can bring a fresh perspective or teach us some viable lessons like believing in yourself, the power of friendship, and that ramen is amazing.
Dont forget rice with beef lol
I would encourage you to pursue your dreams but use the opportunity to create something that pours positivity and hope into the world instead of darkness and nihilism. One thing that I want to do in life is to become a superhero creator. What I mean superheroes are:, Batman, Superman, Green Lantern etc. What do you say about? What do you think God telling to me.
About my Superhero:
Superhero name: Ti-wol (Tiger Wolf)
Superpower: he can release the spirit of tiger and wolf from his body. He also have Bo Staff, he knows Kung Fu, and he have motorcycle.
Perspective: he believe in Bible
Another one, in this story dragon is included as one of the animal spirit.
@@MrDJJ113 this is true. The concept of demons in Japanese culture differ from western culture quite a bit.
I'm a Christian and I watch anime.
Recently, I thought of watching *sailor moon* and *sailor moon crystal* but I decided not to due to the following reasons:
1) some characters have crescent moon symbols on their forehead and use other symbols for fighting
2) the anime is really dark, especially sailor moon crystal
3) in sailor moon crystal, one of the characters was called the Messiah
And one of the characters' soul gets stolen
4) some scenes get too intense to watch
5) as a Christian, watching this kind of stuff makes me feel....
Take care!
Thank you (^^)
I love Jesus
@@anyanyanyanyanyany3551 I’m not a fan of magic or any form of demons but I agree.
lol guess good always has to fight them demons lol
A thorough explanation. I agree!
Anime?
Malachi 2:6
The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: he walked with me in peace and equity, and did turn many away from iniquity.
Hebrews 10:17
And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

I do not believe that an “escapist” approach to media in the world is beneficial to our teaching pf Bible truth in today’s world and I will tell you why I believe this:
Quick question. How do you guys feel about Fairy Tail?

I like the movie Spirited away and have watched it many time at a hard time in life, but some things aren’t so innocent. is Sailor Moon okay? it’s about super-hero and friendship, and Avatar that’s about bending elements and it might sound satanic but it’s really good, so what do you say?

Most anime is witchcraft (sailor moon), sexual (most animes), worldly, or promotes demons as "good" (Inuyasha).
Different cultures. Japanese culture does see “demons” as either evil, neutral, or positive.
Hey friend, i know the difference between the two. No need for education here. But the hypersexualization mentioned in these videos refer to the consistent objectification of many female characters in anime for the sake of “fan service”. I do not watch it myself. I do believe that the warning signs mentioned in the video give a good guidance point for us to converse with the Spirit about. Let the Spirit lead. Hope this helps
i love attack on titan!! just stick to your personal convictions.
@@thediariesofdes Stop focusing on entertainment and more engagement with God.
ctto.
@@laurencecuenca5504 isn’t that a literal anime character on your pfp?? or any animated character?? watching entertainment is fine, and i am. i’ve been trying. but like i said, you can stick to your own convictions.
@@thediariesofdes Yup its been there a long time I had no time to change it. Deny yourself as the bible says with it's passion and desires. I also struggle with self. We need to put others first than ourselves. That's how I understand it. Seek God first. Amen! God bless brother. 😣🙏✨
Ummmm can i watch anime not addictive but i just don't wanna go to hell
Watch it but be mindful of the points i mentioned in the video. Our bodies are the temples of the Holy Spirit and we should be mindful what we put into it. Take care!
Can we watch fire force and one punch man?
Do not know what fire force is, but I do not have enough experience with OPM to have a clear conclusion. If you stick to the principles presented in the video, I believe God, in prayer, can help you figure it out. Stay blessed!
Can I watch “kakegurui” and “assassination classroom”? These anime’s don’t effect me anyway, but I just want to be safe.
@@MwineCarlos very creative! Would love to read it!
is the promised neverland ok for christians?
To be honest, still have not seen that lol but will have to look into it soon now that you mentioned it! Thanks for the feedback!
Devils consume children and the loving mother offers them up in exchange for her own life. Big spoiler for episode 1
The popular ones are always the ones that aren't good for you.
For me, I find that it's getting harder and harder to find animes without them (anime angels) If you know what I mean
I have a fear that continuously, excessively watching these things will significantly desensitize us to violence and other immoral things....
Anime is bad. You are loving things of the world and the Bible tells you not to. You love to watch ANIME!!!!!!!!
Anime is not bad, anime is a form of escapism from reality, because reality can suck at times.
The goverment put a banana in my brain, now dr phill tells me to do bad things. Please send help
Do u think HxH (hunter x hunter) is ok to watch?
Heard great things about it. but I hate to say this....never watched it hehe. maybe someday!!! But stick to the principles I showed in the video and you will be alright! take care!
Hahaa🤣 that ending!
Is it ok to watch one piece please tell me im in a critical situation 😭😭😭
i’m caught up with one piece and haven’t seen anything demonic in it
If you guard your heart like proverb says than it's better not watching it all,.right? That is why I am here. I am praying to drop anime out of my life for good except there are some anime that shows the Bible which is acceptable. There is another world of anime; Dongua Chinese anime. Heaps of my favourite Chinese anime maybe more than Japanese? But now I feel it's not going to benefit my Faith. Like gaming console, they all can be treated like idols. This is like Adam and Eve, GOD told them not to eat the forbidden fruit but they fail to obey and paid the consequences.
thanks for sharing my friend! I believe that the Holy Spirit convicts hearts and if this is the direction that He has led you, go forth! Blessings!
GOD Bless
Suggestions?
Violet Evergarden. Literally one of the most beautiful anime series ever, and it has a very heartwarming message. None of the strange stuff. A little bit of war-related violence in flashbacks. Probably one of the safest animes to watch for Christians.
I can recommend others that I have watched but Violet Evergarden is a must-watch.
I agree! I have not finished the series but I was pleased with what I saw. Also, beautifully animated!
Is Dragon Ball Ok
It has violence but no gore. I believe its pretty tamed to a degree.
@@pastordreamervlogs so would u say it’s ok
They must fit into one of these 3 Categories:
1. Sci-fi
2. Period Piece
3. Sports
This parameter sort of keeps me away from Anime that leans into the demonic or dark arts. Hope this helps. Let me know how else I can help! Blessings!

yes. stick to your convictions. if you feel deep down you shouldn’t be watching it, or if it causes you to sin, drop it.
