JDRF CANADA - 2021 ROCKIN' FOR RESEARCH GALA

ELIZABETH IRVING performed again for the 21st annual JDRF CANADA - ROCKIN' FOR RESEARCH event held virtually on November 6, 2021.
With this year's theme of BE BOLD MOVE BEYOND, Elizabeth performed this inspiring and uplifting song about being brave and getting up when you fall.
10 years ago on the eve of her eldest brothers 16th birthday, he was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, a life changing diagnosis for himself and her family. Being a part of JDRF gives her an opportunity to spread awareness on educating about type 1 diabetes and the importance of supporting groups like JDRF. Elizabeth has seen the 24/7 struggles of managing this disease and remains honoured to be a part of this years event marking the 100th year since the discovery of the life saving insulin discovered by Dr. Frederick Banting in 1921.
