Regarding the span of the wires, I use the notches in the metal core of the handle to narrow them. My personal favorite is the first notch to narrow the span about an itch. This works best for my style and I have a light touch with Remo Renaissance heads with no coating - the texture is built into the surface and doesn't wear out. My wires never snag in the gap between the hoop and head.
I use the Heritage and love them for the softer sound. I also use the Steve Gadd model for a thicker sound and less drum head snag as they are slightly bent at the tips. Great video!! Thank you!!
nice comparison man, I was just on the look out seeing what brushes to buy to play casually on a cardboard pizza box or something. I've seen a video here on youtube of someone playing brushes on miniconga head and it sounded great! Any ideas for other surfaces to play on?
Las Vic Firth acá valen 87.50 $ US. 👍🥁
I have both. The Jazz are great for large venues, the Heritage great for smaller ones. Love them both!
Cool
