When I first started watching the Shabani family, I never really gave Annie much thought. I just knew she was another cute little female gorilla living with her family in a zoo. Over the years I've grown to really love and appreciate this young female gorilla much more. She brings us laughter, joy and much love through our computer screens (thanks to the people behind the cameras!) Annie, you have grown up to be such a special member of the Shabani family and society. We all love you.
