What’s great about Nick is that he brings the same enthusiasm to an entry-level boat as he does to superyachts. Thank you for your endless enthusiasm, which is infectious (the good kind). From a sailor who is now also an Aquaholic.
I think he's more impressed by the smaller boats some times.
I completely agree with this: Nick chose the perfect title and sigline for his channel: he’s addicted to boating and ‘the joy of life afloat’ overflows from all his videos.
I watch lots of boating videos, and there’s a huge difference between people who love the luxury of superyachts, people who love the thrill of speedboats, and Nick, who just seems to love being on the water, and even an inflatable kayak will do! Search his videos if you don’t believe me!
Also, Nick, if you’re reading this, thanks to you I’m now the proud owner of two Sevylor inflatables - and they are a joy.
@@keithdurran858 I think when you are in 5M boat you expect a lot, you would be disappointed if your bed there isn't at least queen size or doesn't have full shower for every cabin. You are much more impressed when you get to 38K boat and see essentially same basic thinks that you would expect in double size boat, maybe not in same dimensions but still get 2 beds, shower, "kitchen", that's pretty impressive.
Calm down
@@garethchild That's fantastic, well done! 😃
great to see also smaller boats. The mix of Yachts and Sportcruiser to watch is very nice
Glad you enjoyed it!
@@AQUAHOLIC Only published 4 hours ago and already 237 comments and almost 10k views. There is a lot of people interested in smaller boats out there!
@@AQUAHOLIC Although there was a 50 knot, 50 ft Pershing for sale in Torquay before. It would be nice to get a look at that!
@@AQUAHOLIC : Hi Nick. I came across this today - 2021 Van der Valk Beach Club 600 www.yachtworld.com/boats/2021/van-der-valk-beach-club-600-3168497/
Are you familiar with this boat or do you know anything about it? Looks kind of interesting.
👍 nice boat, thanks Nick.
Regardles of whether I'll ever be able to afford a boat or not I just find your channel entertaining, informative and the boats are all stunning. A man can dream.
Awesome, thanks :)
I tot agree with you. *Dream Big*
There is currently showing on my tv, an advertisement for Nando’s that claims to “make your dreams come true” and _everytime_ I see this ad, I shout at my telly “dream bigger”
You Kramet are a man/lady after my own heart. I will never own another boat because my husband has no salt water in _his_ veins but I still love to dream about boats. Oh, I am booked to sail back to the uk from New York on Queen Mary 2 next year so I’m not totally devoid of boating.
You can get inflatables for under £100 (dinghy, kayak) not sea-worthy but lake and canal worthy, you start to get pretty serious inflatables at £500 and a 2nd hand cabin boat starting around two grand. You don't have to dream to get floating.
Work harder.
Thanks for showing an entry level boat. Perfect for people like me who are interested in getting into boating. Cheers.
No problem 👍
The ENTRY level boat for MOST people is the 35+ year old boat next to it.....
Great little boat. It has - as James May said about the Dacia Sandero - everything you need and nothing you don't. Another super video tour, Nick.
As a hopefully so to be beginner this looks perfect. Cheers as always Nick.
Really appreciate the fact that you’re looking at smaller more affordable boats as well.
We have the exact same boat but with a few more options. Typical of these types of boat is poor steering at low speed so last year we invested in a bow thruster which takes the stress out of docking in tight marinas. We recently did a run from Poole to Gosport, some 47 miles and it was great. The 210 Diesel is super strong and unlike the petrol versions the risks of fire are almost non existent. It's great to hear the Turbo spooling up under more throttle which is accompanied by a satisfying whistle. These are comfortable boats with reasonable see keeping. The Diesel option is fairly frugal so you are not always looking at the gauge plus the fuel is much cheaper than the petrol option. The build quality is excellent and Crownline haven't scrimped on cheap fittings, finish or furnishings. It's a design which ages extremely well and still looks fresh amongst more modern craft. Thanks Aquaholic for bringing this video to us and for doing a feature on a boat which many of us can afford.
Range of the same?
Agreed on many points but definitely not on the design aging well. Especially that cabin decor... yikes. Looks very 90s, actually.
This boat is an amazing value for money, I mean it's a steal, loved it, and this particularly one is also very well maintained 👌
We want more boats like this!! Keep the good work!!
the more i watch Acquaholic the more my bank account starts to sweat
Why
I think the sweating comes after with the "new" price in fuel.
Hey car pal
@@tocarules He could do an e-motor battery conversion...just like with classic cars...
Great Nick. Please consider a series of videos featuring boats in the various steps of cost, size and equipment benefits. No problem cut a pasting bits from some of your favourite boats featured in past videos. We all love your dream boat videos of millionaire style boats but it is great to also feature boats that more of might afford. Thanks for posting.
If you check the Smuggler's Blues 2 playlist there are quite a few videos about this size of boat.
THANKS for showing a fine boat at an entry level price. Its capabilities still offer fine value, sport and comfort.
That was just like a big boat, only smaller. What was really good is that it had a “real” toilet, none of that undignified “bucket’n’chuck it” malarkey.
Great little boat. Reminds me of our first boat, a SeaRay240. Brilliant introduction to boating for our family - and the rest is history 😁
Thanks Nick 👍
Yes, extremely similar concept.
Its lunch time, what better way than to spend it with a cuppa watching another exciting episode with our good friend Nick
Very nice "runabout" with a cabin. Begin a Friday afternoon with a leisurely putt to a nice anchorage at 10 - 12 knots. Soon you're set up for a couple of days of fun. Then, it's Sunday. But you can squeeze another few hours out of the get-away because you can fly back in half the time at 25 knots. A couple or beginning family, perhaps retired folk with a week or more to spend. Nice AFFORDABLE vessel. Clever touches on board as well. Thanks for sharing...
So nice to see these entry-level boats reviewed so professionally. Thanks Nick
As I already said in the last video. These videos of boats with lower budget are awesome.
So so good as always!!! You continue to show how affordable and practical it can be to get on the water and have great fun for the family as well as all the “Maggies” out there! I love the broad range of tours you do from small, affordable boats to the mega yachts! Thank you
Very nice starter boat. For being 15 years old, it's stunningly clean, and aside from maybe the curtain and 2nd cabin cushions, not dated at all. This'll work great for many people! Thanks!
Lovely entry level affordable boat.
Thank you for showing us around.
My pleasure!
Surprisingly a lot of space on this boat. Leisure boat design, in general, is obviously done by some clever men. Nice review as always. Looks to me that boating is not only for the rich ones, a nice conclusion. Boat manufacturers should be thankful to Nick because some of us will become owners one day, because of those pleasant videos that are not just about boats.
Nice, was not expecting a heads initially. Another inflatable kayak vid would be my affordable right now
I love the larger boat tour videos but it’s great to have these every so often that are more affordable and realistic for most of us. Nice looking boat!
Hi Nick. what great little boat. with some interesting touches that make the most of the cockpit seats.
Maggie found a great little spot too😄😄
it's nice to see some of these smaller boats getting a review. Thanks Nick
No problem 👍
I love the fact that you do reviews of boats that are actually accessible to someone wanting to get into the hobby Nick, thanks for this video!
My pleasure!
Finally an affordable boat. Enjoy your channel a lot but don’t get anything out of watching a video about some yacht I’m never gonna buy. Would love to see your take on regular boats so the channel would have some practical use.
That's just perfect, as you say it has everything you need for a weekend away.
Doing my ongoing research I've found a number of very affordable boats now, I make lots of notes and hope to be on the water next Summer, I'd prefer something a tad bigger than this, but at that price it has to be high up on my list.
Thanks Nick.
Awesome, good luck!
Check out the Jeanneau Leader 805 that One Marine have just put up for sale. Nick has the same boat. But it’s a 2001.
@@stevenlane8542 Its a nice boat that, looks great and offers that bit more room. I almost bought a Bayliner 285 a couple of months ago but felt that I was a bit lacking in knowledge, hence putting things off till next year.
Philip Mason Sounds like you’re exactly where I am too. Looking for my first boat and have a fair idea what I want but looking for the right boat at the right time. The Leader 805 ticks a lot of boxes. Good idea to do something like an introductory RYA course but I don’t think they’re running them yet due to COVID. Next Feb/March seems a good time to pull the trigger!
@@stevenlane8542 - as an American, I would tell you stay way from Bayliner - but then opinions are like, well........ anyhow.
Nick your presentation and enthusiasm is so infectious it's better than the boat....u are amazing
Wow, thank you!
Maggie allways gets the best seat!! Very nice beginner-boat for the small family. Great presentation (as allways).
This has a very practical design. I can totally get why its a great first boat. Simple yet very functional and practical
Keep these size and prices coming! This is exciting and feels "reachable."
I see you said it makes you happy to know people are starting the whole boat lifestyle because of your channel, so I’d like to also say, I’ve convinced my other half and we are also going to buy a boat, mainly because of your videos but also maybe 10 or 15% of it was NautiStyles! Excited beyond belief! :)
Awesome! Enjoy!!
Having a 230CCR myself, I love also this video from Nick - well and with the same enthusiam done as always !
This feels like the perfect size for a yacht in my opinion. Not too big to be unwieldy behind the helm, not too small to be uncomfortable or cramped.
Yes, exactly the kid of boat I am actually interested in, sleeps 3 com fortably, has a small galley and a heads, is trailerable (I would do river boating, so for the winter, trailering it into a warehouse is the best option) and the price makes it affordable.
Bababoi
Nice film, nice boat. It's as interesting to see the smaller craft as it is to see the bigger ones.
A lot of features in a smaller boat. Very good. Nice layout. Great video as always!
6:09 nice crew cabin lol
Nick, great job as always. It's amazing how well you show the utility of the boat. Even when there are listing with 30 or 40 photos on a boat this size, it's sometimes hard to tell how things are really laid out and how each area can be used, especially considering how things might feel with multiple people on board. Realize you've heard all this before but keep it up!
Always happy to hear it again! 😄
Thanks for making this! Nice to see a entry level boat. Also handy to have a base line to get perspective on the higher price ranged boats on your channel.
Between the Meet The Owner videos (which are awesome!) and the lower price point boats, I've really enjoyed the recent direction this channel is headed.
We will always wants to gawk and dream, but I really enjoy the "realistic" boats the most.
£38k is more of a dream boat than a starter boat to be honest. The reason I watch this channel is to keep dreaming !!
We had a crownline 260ex deckboat. Loved it and was our first boat getting into the boating life. Wonderful features and good ride quality. Ours was freshwater only and had a gas powertrain instead of diesel, but easily accommodated on freshwater, more gas than diesel there. Crownline mfg gives great support to their owners.
I have Crownline 180, 2006, 18 ft boat for couple of years and I can tell that Crownline boats are beautiful and reliable boats!
Am liking these entry level boats, really does make boating that more accessible. Great tour and lovely boat Nick
What a great looking boat, credit to the owners a 15 year old boat looking that clean doesn’t show its age.
Cheers Nick No 1 boat reviewer.
Thanks 👍
This looks absolutely amazing for that type of money. I'm well impressed with this one, even though it's 15 years old!!
The kind of video I like to watch, boats one can afford and that does not look like spacious apartments inside a giant ferry
What a cracking boat and I guess running costs similar to yours at about £5k-£6k per year all in. Brilliant professional video again Nick.
Great video Nick. This kind of a budget will entice a few hundreds of dreamers to pull the trigger and get into boating, because all your videos are interesting, but most people can't just afford most of those bigger boats. Then again, great job Nick, keep'em (boats like this) coming!! 🥂🍾
I have always been a fan of Crownline - they make great vessels even in open bow sport / day boats. I like this one a lot for a step up to weekending. And without checking all the stats I would ALMOST guess trailer-able here in The States which is WHY a lot of manufactures keep boats narrower and then tend to make a cockpit that is full beam.
I'm days behind now (and not a single complaint about it as I am happy as hell to be back to work and at one I even like better than my pre-covid job) but love that this was first on my Sunday Playlist. 👍
Thanks as always for a great walk around. 🙂
Awesome and more in most people's price bracket... thanks Nick.
Glad you liked it!
@AQUAHOLIC absolutely.... question from a boating newbie Nick.... does the UK have boats this well equipped for this price bracket in general @ the $25k mark? I know this US boat review in this video is not a patch on your reviews.... I assume this is cheap due to age and petrol ⛽️ engine and maybe boats are just cheaper in general in USA? Would live to hear your thoughts or watch a video on the bargain basement end of the market. Can't be long for your boat to come out of storage soon?! Keep up the awesome videos! 👌 video here .... ua-cam.com/video/PHMVy8CPUjM/v-deo.html
That's a lovely compact boat! Despite its size it has all the requirements for a great weekend at sea. What a gem. Love this one Nick👍.
Quite a lot of boat for not a lot. Really nice, as always nick
I like the variety of boats and for another reason besides i am broke i like this small boats. How they maximize space is awesome to watch.💪🏼
I really appreciate the content on this channel, well equipped super yachts and even something that is accessible to many, this one being a perfect example. ✔️
Hi Nick. Thats looks great condition for its age, smart exterior lines and useable deck and interior with economy. Competitive price. Great video thanks.
That would be my first boat, great to see you doing the tours on little beginners ,keep up the good work 💪
I wasn't expecteing much for 38K but I am pleasantly surprised at just what it has to offer. Looks to be a very good little day tripper/weekender. Thanks for sharing Nick.
Thats a perfect first powerboat. Like a batchelor boat. Itd be great for a railroader such as myself. I plan to stay where I am until I can buy a proper yacht and switch gears to a marine job. But that is really something to be envious of.
Having owned this boat for a few years I can say it’s a cracking little boat, I chose it as for a boat of that size I couldn’t find another with a better cockpit layout. Also mine had the 350 mag V8, much more fun! Videos of some trips out are on my channel.
One of my favourite tours you've done. Absolutely love this boat!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Fun video and a pretty boat. Maggie looks comfy, too!
Thanks for showing a boat that is within reach of us mere mortals. Love getting the notification saying there is a new video. keep it up Nick.
Glad you like them!
Such a good idea reviewing smaller second hand boats, great tour as always, cheers Nick
Glad you enjoyed it!
I truly enjoy seeing different models highlighted. Also, the more i see, the more I appreciate the one that I have.
Great to see a more affordable boat!
It’s not an X95 but certainly more affordable for the majority your subscribers.
I certainly wouldn’t mind seeing more tours like this
Well done Nick! 👍🏻😉🇨🇦
Very nice setup just for a weekend and especially more in the affordable range for somebody...very impressed Nick very nice
Great video Nick and like others, I appreciate you reviewing a more affordable boat. It’s re-assuring to know that, supported by a survey, a 15 year old boat should not be discounted. It’s all to easy to apply the same measure of age to boats that we apply to cars and they are clearly not comparable.
I was in that exact same harbour last week Nick - even saw Smugglers Blues 2 wrapped up and sitting forlorn in the rain!
Really awesome to see the smaller boats as well, thanks man for showing us this one also
That second bed looked a little clousterphobic for me... Nice style though... The price is reasonably attainable too. Nice vid Nick. Keep them coming... I have to live my life on the ocean waves vicariously through you. LOL
Great stuff Nick. I'm doing my Day Skipper and am planning on getting onto the water soon... You do inspire me with your channel!
Awesome! Good luck!
Nice to see this sort of boat on the channel Nick, LOVE IT !
Glad you enjoy it!
As always !
Really nice little boat nice to see some of these smaller more affordable boats Nick and great tour as always mate thanks for sharing this cheers 👍🇨🇦
Glad you enjoyed it
Now that is a useful platform, very versatile. The bones on which to build.
Thank you for another excellent tour. Take care and stay safe. 👍👍👍🛥🛳☠🚤⛴🏴☠️🚢⛵⚓😎
Aye that is a great starter boat Nick. It’s got everything I’d need for weekend on the water, great walk round.
Something I can realistically dream of. And thanks for the nice tour.
Hey Nick it’s been a while since I have commented! Your channel has grown so much since 32k subscribers! But I just bought a Larson 274 cabrio and it’s a beautiful boat and I would love to show you somehow! Keep up your production quality and I can’t wait for your growth this year!
Fantastic! Enjoy.
Never really thought about buying a boat, then i found this channel and since i am moving to Bahamas next year.. You got me hooked haha.
Great place to have a boat!
Yet another superb yacht tour by the master himself!
Nice boat Nick, thanks for showing to us. I like it alot!
Absolute bargain. Really nice looking boat. I know there are other costs involved but I paid only slightly less for my car. Another great video Nick. All the best.
I cannot describe that happiness when I see the notification of your video
You're very kind :)
@@AQUAHOLIC thank you
I am so happy that you replied
Great little starter boat indeed. Good enough for a weekend away, though at 6’4” it wouldn’t be super comfortable inside. Still, not bad. Getting the always great Aquaholic tour just makes it better.
I’m seriously tempted, Nick...
My narrowboat was built in 1991, and she’s worth about that; and I completely agree with you about surveys.
And on the subject of narrowboats, I still think you should take a look.
Morning Nick. Another 11/10 video on a user friendly boat. Looking to upgrade my Regal 2250 for something like this. Next vid please on a Four Winns 268 as it's top of the list at the moment, along with your Jeanneau.

Nice looking day boat.
I love all the videos but especially enjoyed this one, fantastic little boat and great to get started.
What a great weekender.... some clever ideas on there, love it!
Brilliant to see some more affordable boat for us just starting
Here in the US I've seen tons of these for sale but never with a diesel. That's really cool. They usually come with a gas 5.7 mercruiser and a bravo 3 duo prop.
Liking this one , well thought out design to make the most of the space
Nice video, I hope you will continue showing us these type of boats
Great little boat, very well thought out.
I used to own one of those Cieras in the background. Also love these lower buck reviews you mix in. 👍
