Love the videos bro and nice to see TAMKO has caught up to the rest of the other manufacturers and finally has two seal strips
Keep making these videos because the science and reasoning helps explain this industry work compared to 10+ years back when you just had to believe whatever the contractor says 😁
Kudos from a roofing contractor out here in Alabama

You have been dog in tamko forever about how they shingles don't stick or stay down. I mentioned to you that my town tamko architect shingle stick very well. Good to see you know that tamko does have shingles that stick now.

We got a black (off black or charcoal) shingle and they said it was "cool roof" shingle. Not sure how that works...

If you recommend dots, not continuous bead, of sealant, when repairing shingle, shouldn't they manufacture the seal strip in dots?

I had a really bad experience with Tamko 3 tab shingles sticking together.

It's not just performance people. It's about being able to demand more for an install at the kitchen table. Yes these are OK shingles. However with no copper granules and limited colors....they are not top notch or a top margin maker. If you sell OC Duration in a home you get the sure nail strip, copper granules, 25 colors, and the brand Owens Corning. I get nearly $150 more a square when I am able to sell that. It more than makes up for the $20more a square I pay vs TAMKO TITAN. When will roofers understand it's about quality, brand, and margin. I pay my supply houses and employees every week. Also included is a workmanship warranty.
