Cool Pete! I love winter camping, it has a charm of its own and makes the long winter enjoyable as we wait till we can paddle again.
Thanks so much for checking this one out David! I agree, winter camping does have a unique charm, and it keeps calling me back. Sitting by the warm fire on a cold and clear starry night is just amazing!
Those are good times going on right there!👌🏻
You bet! Awesome memories there. Thanks for stopping by Marc!
What a great video!! Glad you and Bill had no mishaps or anything ❣️. You really wouldn't want to meet Bill in the dark with those teeth, eh? Love you guys!!
Haha yah he caught be surprise a few times! Such great memories of this trip, and can't wait until our next adventure together!
Great work filming your adventure. I am sure camping in sub degree weather is hard enough, let alone setting up cameras and filming it. Cool that you heard wolves and saw some evidence of moose/deer. Great vid, wish there was more ice fishing! Cheers.
Thanks man! Yup it's not easy but it's so worth it to me. Ice fishing has never really been my thing, I'm dying for May to come so I can go chase Algonquin brookies...thanks for coming out Andrew!
Only 30 seconds into your video and hungry already - Love your establishing shots to start, serious frame rate on that first slow motion shot. Here in Ireland we need to be on summits to get the snow so weight of gear is such an issue - Moving on to your next video now.... Tom
I'm glad you enjoyed this Tom! I'm sure you would really enjoy a winter camp here, the snow covered forest is a beautiful sanctuary that provides amazing solitude. Of course I dream of hiking a summit with a backpack in Ireland one day lol, the grass is always greener I suppose. Cheers!
We've watched several of your videos now and find the production really well done and enjoy the content as well. You need a wider audience, quality like you offer should be getting thousands more views. Please keep them coming!
Hey Jim thank you so much for those encouraging words! I'm certainly learning a ton about filming and editing as time goes on, and thankfully the French River documentary has starting reaching lots of viewers. That quality is what I'm going for with all my future films. Thanks Jim!
Your video stimulated me!! It is a fishing channel in Korea. I will visit you often! Let's be friends!🐟🐳🐠❤️❤️🐳🐠❤️❤️
New friend here, just subscribed. Found your comment on my friend Andrew’s last video brown trout fishing. I love Algonquin Park, beautiful place where I used to go camping every year before the kids came along. Great channel my friend, hope we can support each other.
Adrian
Hey thanks so much for the comment and the sub my friend! I gave you a sub back, your channel looks great and I can't wait to dive in. Yup Algonquin is really a special place, I'm heading back this Sunday for a couple more nights and hope to film the adventure. Cheers my friend!
