Thank you for the great video. When I removed my motor, I dis-assembled it, brushed the magnets, greased everything, re-assembled and it started working again! We'll see for how long ;-) Thanks again

Hi brother. Thank you so much for the video. I just got done replacing the wiper motor on my 2013 Pruis C. I put it off for a year and then discovered that, just as you said, it wasn't that hard to replace after all.

Thanks for a great video! I'm getting ready to do this on my 2013 Prius but looking for a replacement motor prices vary so much - New, OEM, refurbished, name brands....??? Any thoughts on picking a quality replacement motor? Prices I've seen range $59 - $239
There's a link to the one I got off Amazon for $80 its been over 6mouths and no issues and today we had lots of snow. And it did fine with the heavy weight of the snow. I do believe it should fit your 2013 just check the listing. And the changing out of thr moter really was surprising simple.

I’ve got a 2011 Prius and wiper motor keeps cutting off. I looked online for a second hand and they’re all ridiculously priced for a Prius. Can i find the same wiper motor in other toyota’s.?
I really don't know but there is a link to the one I used in the description it's $88 and so far its still working fine.

There are lots of reasons for that to happen so I really can't say. My my truck i had that issue only the fast wiper speed would work. I changed out the moter the moter transmission and the swich on the steering wheel and it did not fix the issue. I was told I could be a faulty ground wire somewhere. Sorry I could not help more.

I wish I could but without seeing it I really don't know.
@@chickenhawkfarmstead8478 I may not have thrown it off. All I know is my motor works, and it appears to work without blades, but my blade locations may be off.

Does anybody know if you can get the resistance charts to the motor so I can actually make sure it’s bad before shotgunning it?
I hooked 12 power to the moter to see if it would move and to rule out other wireing problems. Don't know if that helps. I don't have or have found any wireing diagrams if that is what your asking.
@@chickenhawkfarmstead8478 what do you use to send 12volts to it? I’ve done that with 120, but that’s easy with a wall and extension cord.
10 gage wires with clips off the battery.
