Franklin's Gulls making a Cacophony at Elk Island National Park (birdwatching in Alberta, Canada)

- Franklin's Gulls visit Elk Island during the summer months, and crowd onto the lakes to eat insects emerging from the water. Come listen to the shrill calls as I highlight where you can find these birds. Can you imagine sleeping among this sound? Well, someone managed to!

Thank you so much!
Amazing sound of birds
Amazing how many of them there were. They were everywhere and quite loud.
They really are loud. Not sure I could handle hearing them everyday all summer!
The gulls have a lot to talk about on the lake. Great to see what they are dining on and the beautiful close view of the sleepy one. Best regards, Cathy
They definitely were chatty! The sleepy one was definitely my favorite.
Good morning. It's a refreshing morning. Have a wonderful day.
These Gulls look thin when they are on the lake, but plump and pretty when they are in the meadow. Their singing voice is lively. I enjoyed the nice video.😀

Thank you
Donna your voice is far more mellifluous than that horrible cacophony
Thank you very much, Stephen!
Those gulls are very beautiful 👍
Thanks very much!
Hello my dear old friend Donna, how are you doing? It's a beautiful place awesome lake view and lovely ducks.
Absolutely wonderful presentation.
Loved this video and birdwatching with you Donna. Sorry, I'm so late! We enjoyed seeing the Franklin Gulls and hearing their song.
Quite alright! Thank you so much for dropping by and appreciating their calls.
I love birds
We will able visit them in winter in india. Thanks for sharing so lovely video
Franklin's Gulls in Elk Island National Park. I watched with great interest (^^♪
They were very active!
Such a beautiful place to see
There are many of them! It's interesting to see the seagulls walking on dry land, the sleepy one also looks tired :)
Wonderful Donna.
Nice nature video 😊
Thanks for visiting Aishu
I liked the sleepy one best.
A cutie for sure.
Fun to see all the Franklin’s Gulls! They sure are active and loud! lol. They have really pretty markings… very nice they eat so many bugs! 👍👍
I quite like the bit of white around their eyes, almost like the masks you see in Venice. Have a great day, Jennifer!
The sounds of birds are always such a comfort to me and I'm very partial to the sound of gulls, as I live by the shore. A beautiful video and narration, dear Donna!
Me too. We had lots of Herring Gulls in the summer months and hearing them call is quite soothing. This was perhaps a little hectic with so many all in one space though, and I've started to notice how often you can hear them flying around the park during our hikes. Thanks so much!
Beautiful 🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆
I quite loved their chatter. Beautiful place too! Wonderful video!
What a wonderful sight and sound! It was great to see so many birds together. I enjoyed watching your lovely footage and listening to your commentary 😊❤
Thank you so much! They were so incredibly noisy.
WOW! So many! They are a pretty gull. Thank you for sharing. Greetings
Thanks so much, Laura!
You always capture the atmosphere 🙏👍
Hi Donna so cute to see the gulls having a party here 😃 that was so fun to see and beautifully filmed :) ~ Anna
Very nice and relaxing to watch 🥰🙏
Lovely footage and info on these Gulls, they look very similar to the Black-headed Gulls we get over here.
It's neat and frustrating for birders how there's a number of gulls that look so similar. I think the Black-headed ones can also be found on the east coast of North America as well. Thanks so much for watching, Jay!
👍👈nice sharing. ❤️❤️
So many birds, enjoyed their singing, thanks and have a good day🙏🙏🌹🌹👍👍
Many many thanks
Hello Donna.
I really enjoyed that.
They are singing happily after the huge distance they travelled.
You narrated very well over your video. Very interesting.
Safety in numbers, yes👍
The sleepy one was tired.
I watch😉👍
Well done👏👏👋❤️
Excellent Franklin's Gulls observation footage and beautiful nature scenery. Thanks for sharing and good job, Donna. A big LIKE for your video. Greetings from Singapore.
Thanks so much, Cheiko! I enjoyed seeing and hearing so many gulls in one space. Have a great day!
Hi Donna, thanks for this beautiful video, Spring is noticeable on the lake, there is a lot of life.
The birds are beautiful and you have captured them very well. 👍👍
Have a nice weekend. Greetings. Manu
Thank you so much! It's interesting seeing the different birds and the huge numbers they gather in. Hope you are having a nice weekend as well.
Beautiful park... such a lovely place
Thank you
Hallo, tolles Video, gefällt mir, vielen Dank 👍 wünschen dir ein schönes Wochenende ❤ danke für gegenseitige Unterstützung 🔔 Siggi & Anne 👍
Beautiful birds Donna, hard to think of them as gulls. Makes it sound so common. These are so gorgeous in their own right. 👌🇳🇱🙋♀🥝
Very true, I was also amused when an American visited the area and was shocked to see the "sea" gulls so far inland. Not all gulls live by the ocean. I quite like the white areas around the eyes, it makes them look quite dramatic.
@@DonnaTaibossigai we have lots here by our river - nowhere near the sea 😆🤣
Hello Donna.☺
So cute and beautiful birds!👍✨💕
Beautiful birds
Thanks for visiting
Nice shots. 😊😊😊
They sure are a noisy bunch! I don't think we have this type of gull here in Minnesota. Thanks for the great information. 😊👍
They are definitely noisy! Thank you so much for watching.
Wow that's amazing
Hello Donna. Very nice video. A beautiful park full of birds. I loved watching. Greetings and have a nice weekend.🌞Pavel🦊
Interesting video and comment, dear Donna. I really enjoyed this!🤗🍁
Thank you so much! It was enjoyable putting this together as the two groups were filmed over two different years. Have a great weekend.
Beautiful gulls. Nicely presented.
Thank you! Cheers!
Two continents that is far. They are noisy aren't they.
Super interesting gulls 😊
Thank you so much, Dragon!
Hi, Donna
Remarkable filming.
haha I cannot imagine how loud those gulls made noise around YOU hahah
I like you follow one busy gulls. Outstanding...I cannot even record a moving object in one frame hahahah
I am glad to know Birds are returning to North...now your turn to enjoy bird-watching.
As always, precise and unique observation. I thank YOU
Yeah, it can be pretty tough holding the camera steady. One trick I've found it to not have the camera fully zoomed in, as any vibrations will be exaggerated even more. These birds were really noisy and I had to decrease them for the video, so yes, they are even noisier in person! Thanks so much for watching and the lovely comment Ms. Kayak!
Yikes
They even sound awful yawning 🥱 😅😂😅😂😅😂😅
Aww, I thought they looked pretty cute! But no wonder those geese went tromping through.
