- Johann Axellsson kindly talks us through the (brand new at show) FX Panthera Hunter, a compact new fixed-stock 12ft/lb multi-shot PCP rifle with a choice of two mounting positions for its 300CC CF bottle (and yes you can have a bottle in one or t'other -or both!)

Sub 12 is so dumb whats the point ?
🙄 Sub-12 is the law here so we live with it.
When doing recreational shooting, target shooting or pest control within, say 35 yards it's all you need for UK 'pest / vermin' species (only certain animals are legally described as vermin, and can therefore be shot with a sub-12 rifle).

@@Jeeper1378 Here in the UK we have two choices, sub-12 or get a FAC. 🤷🏻♂️
It’s pointless, the only selling point of panthera is the air tank in the back, If I have to have it in the front, might aswell use the m3
This is sub-12 for the UK market, and can take one bottle at the front or at the back - or two at once.

Disagree, the Plenum and valve system it totally different.
I have both, the airflow through the Panthera block is much more unrestricted and the overall block is much moire flexible. You can do bottles front, back, both. The power is flat out more, my tricked M3 is not as powerful as the Panthera. If they make a compact Panthera, that M3 is for sale.

It may be a compact sub-12 (i.e. UK-friendly) -version of the higher-power Panthera, but it has bottle mounting options (front/rear/both), a 20MOA-inclined scope rail and an adjustable-height cheek piece. 👌
