    Thanks so much for the review, Walden! What a beautiful and sleek tablet. I have never tried digital art, but this looks like so much fun. Digital art appeals to me, and maybe someday I'll move towards drawing digitally. I would love to see future digital pieces on your website or Instagram! Thanks for posting, my friend and Happy 4th!

      Hi Rometiklan! Thank you for the kind words. Digital art is fun because everything is right there on your screen. No need to dip ink, no need to mix colors, no need to find the right tools. All of that it just one click. I do prefer traditional art because when all is done, there’s a physical piece of art for of people would like to collect. That’s a great idea about posting digital art on my website or instagram. In fact, I’m thinking maybe I can do more digital art videos for UA-cam. It’s fine if fun to be able to do all the steps in one go. Would that be something views be interested in watching?

      @@WaldenWongArt Thanks for the awesome reply, Walden! Yes I would love to see more digital art from you. I enjoy seeing the process of the rough sketching to the finished drawing. I'm trying to learn more about digital art, but I've been doing traditional art all my life. I'm still learning a lot about inking and coloring from your videos so digital art is a huge step for me. I agree it's good having a finished piece of traditional art to collect! Thanks and stay well, my friend!

      Hi Tometiklan. Okay, sounds good. I’ll make more videos with digital art. I remember when I first started learning and it was kinda overwhelming. But once you understand the programs, it’s really no difference than working traditionally. I’m the future, I’ll make videos about drawing on photoshop with a computer. As well as drawing on the IPad Pro with Apple Pencil. With my videos, you can pulse and see what I’m doing so that’s a good way to also learn. Thank you for the idea!

    Hello walden!!, I hope you read this comment I really need the answer please help me!! 😭🙏
    I'm a new user of Xp pen 22r pro, and I see there is a white screen on the screen, is it scratch resistant from the factory?...
    is it already installed from the factory, 1 layer of screen protector? or should i buy it?
    I don't want my tablet display screen to get scratched quickly, just because I misunderstood the white layer I meant earlier, it's not a screen protector. 😔

    • @WaldenWongArt
      @WaldenWongArt  2 роки тому +2

      Hi Veyra. Thank you for watching my video. If you’re taking about that screen protected that came with the XP Pen that has a little sticker on the top left that helps you peel it off, you can actually just peel off the sticker itself and leave the screen protecter and use that as a screen protector. I have both the XP Pen 22R Pro as well as the XO Pen 22 Pro where I took off the factory film on the 22r Pro and left the film on the 22 Pro. Both still works normally and the same. So to answer your question, yes, you can leave that on and save money on buying a new screen protecter. Don’t peel it off and try to reattached and you’ll get a lot of air bubbles. Just slowly remove that white stickers and then run off the residue and you’ll instantly have a screen protecter without buying one. I hope that helps. Thank you again for watching. If you enjoy these types of video and like to see more, please subscribe to my channel for more tutorials. Thanks again!

      @@WaldenWongArt Gosh, thanks for answering this comment, I'm so freaked out.
      I'm afraid all I've done is draw directly on the screen without a screen protector, and the screen will be scratched.
      I've subscribed and liked your channel! ...
      and I wanted to ask again to make sure. So when you buy and oprn the XP-PEN 22R PRO, the factory default screen protector was already attached and all you had to do was peel off the thin sticker, right? I mean, it's not separated from the tablet display?...
      And, if later this screen protector has been scratched a lot, can I remove it and replace it with a new one???.. I see this screen protector is quite thick. 🤔
      Please answer this, thank you very much!!! 😭😭

    • @WaldenWongArt
      @WaldenWongArt  2 роки тому +1

      @@veyraayasaka Hi Veyra, when you first got the XP-Pen. It only came with a protective film. Which was supposed to be removed before using. However, you can still keep it there and it would work just the same. Now, if your question is… when you got it and you removed the film, will the glass be scraped if you use it bare. This completely depends on how rough you use the Xp-Pen. Now if you like ti protect it, you can still order one of these screen protectors. It comes in a pack of two so you can use one now, and then another down the lines. Here is my amazon link yo that same item I’ve ordered for myself. amzn.to/3sICA6t
      If fits the screen perfectly and is a much thicker screen protector than the original film that it came with. Anything you order from my link, I get a little bit of a commission. Thank you in advance!

Every now and then, the pen doesn’t interacts with the tablet. So what I’ll do is turn off the program, shut down the XP-Pen. Then turn back on the XP-Pen, THEN turn on the software you’re using and everything will be good again. Hello .. very helpful review thank you so much
    I just want to ask you something.. is it a standalone tablet or must be connected to a laptop or PC
    As the XP-Pen artist 24 pro does not need a computer or laptop to work.
    I don't have a laptop and not planning for getting one soon because of my budget. So I thought I might get the 24 pro even if it's a little high priced but would be cheaper than getting the 22R pro and also a laptop to make it work.
    Do you know what I mean.
    So it's not like the 24 pro right?
    It's not a standalone tablet

    • @WaldenWongArt
      @WaldenWongArt  3 роки тому +1

      Hi Yasmine Samir. You are correct. The Artist 22R Pro requires a computer or laptop for it to mirror the images onto the graphic display.
      Just so you know, the XP-Pen Artist 22 Pro also requires you to have a computer, laptop or some other device for it to work. It’s not a stand alone device where it can store memory and work like a computer all by itself. The higher price is because it has a bigger screen and higher resolution. That’s where the higher price factors in. But both Artist 22R Pro as well as the Artist 22 pro requires a separate device for it to work. Hope that helps.
      If you plan on buying any of those, I have links below my video description where you can order it from Amazon. Those are my Amazon Affiliate links so I get a bit of a commission from it. Thank you so much!

    i can see people are having trouble coming to reality yes these are not ipads these are not all in one computers the cheapest all in one computer you can get with writable screen would be a huion all in one for about 1,200 that is an all in one computer but if you just want to draw then just buy an ipad 10.2 gen 7 or whatever gen we are up to right now for about 329.99 and an apple pen for about 99.99 if you want a display tablet with no internal computer well... theres a lot of options ranging from size and price xp line up is cheap and ok like a dollar store brand next is huion which is like walmart and after that its wacom which is like apple each will get the job done but its up to you and honestly if you can't draw you need to learn how and if you really want a tablet just get the ipad 10.2 inch and an apple pencil you just can't beat it and get you procreate you'll be fine on that for a while then when you are ready to upgrade and know how to draw and need more space then consider a 22-32 screen size and upgrading your computer to 4k theres just so much to learn honestly

      Xp pen has a 2k res one also. It all depends on what you need. As for the laminated screen the xp pen does really well with parallax as well too without it.
      So it's really down to what you like more the dail wheel or touch bar. Their products are very similar in price.

      I do know the display wouldn’t need extra software to run it. Once it’s plugged it, it works right away.
