Having left the hollers of Kentucky 15 years ago, Raylan Givens now lives in Miami, a walking anachronism balancing his life as a U.S. Marshal and part-time father of a 15-year-old girl. His hair is grayer, his hat is dirtier, and the road in front of him is suddenly a lot shorter than the road behind. A chance encounter on a desolate Florida highway sends him to Detroit. There he crosses paths with Clement Mansell, aka The Oklahoma Wildman, a violent, sociopathic desperado who's already slipped through the fingers of Detroit's finest once and aims to do so again. Mansell's attorney, formidable Motor City native Carolyn Wilder, has every intention of representing her client, even as she finds herself caught between cop and criminal, with her own game afoot as well. These three characters set out on a collision course in classic Elmore Leonard fashion, to see who makes it out of the City Primeval alive.

I just finished the series and the way he was looking at Winona at the very end, I'd say he's going try to get Winona again (who woulldn't?). Especially if he's retired, he might win her back.
I liked the series, and you know sometimes, especially when you get older, relationships don't present themselves as frequently. Plus it is just two single people taking advantage some needed affection. What's wrong with that?
I was happy to see the show again. Makes me want to watch the previous seasons again.
You're right, it's two single people who are clearly lonely (and alone) and they find themselves drawn to each other. It's not that deep. And it's clearly not more than what is presented since he doesn't even speak to her after he leaves Detroit (plus, he was there for like... 2 weeks?!). It's not necessarily the same type of attraction that Raylan has had in the past which feels much more physical than anything else. He's older, he's more weary of the world, and after all this time, he's still alone. Plus, it can't be fun for him to have to watch Winona, the love of his life, married to another man and raising their daughter. He's not exactly living a bachelor's dream in Miami. I think the thing that doesn't work with this Raylan/Carolyn pairing though is that the actors have little to no chemistry. There isn't any sexual tension or slow burn between them. And someone must hate Aunjaune Ellis in wardrobe because they have her in the most hideous and unflattering clothing. She's a wealthy lawyer, look at her house! Why is she wearing Dress Barn's finest and a layaway wig. She looks so much older and frumpy.
it looks like they don't give a shit about who's playing the diversity roles. Raylan has been with gorgeous women and now it appears that he likes that.
The end of the final episode opened the door for a great Season 2. Please redeem Justified.

Here is what funny... My folks are from Harlan County Kentucky by way of Mississippi. The one thing is true for certain; hill folk do what they want to do regardless to what other folks think. The idea that our good ole boy Raylan Givens would not be attracted to a woman of substance says the some of his audience did not understand that Raylan could not be put in any particular box. He was always his own man regardless to his surroundings. I loved every season of Justified including this one. And the unflattering commentary about Aunjanue is pure nonsense. Her BEAUTY and talent as an award winning diverse actress reigns supreme. ❤️

Can’t understand how the original justified started out so great but then got so bad and the new justified give me a break. There is about as much chemistry between Raylan and this woman as two rocks. Timothy Is A very good actor and a gorgeous man But WTH. He is so skinny in this show. I’m concerned he’s sick.
Yea they had zero chemistry and that's my whole issue with it. I tried really hard to like City Primeval, but it lacked the charm and humor of Justified. This show was just...sad. The entire show was just sad

Absolutely Loved previous seasons but this new one was horrible! The Raylan from previous seasons would never be interested in chick that looks like Oprah Winfrey 🤮. We turned it off so sick of woke crap ruining movies & tv shows.
