@@herewaskendra I think she's a great actress, I'm a fan. But disagree that she exudes sensuality in this role. They got her dressed like Raylan's grandma and the actors have zero chemistry. Call that shallow, but it's also accurate.

I would buy this if the actors had any chemistry. As someone else commented below, it's almost unfair to compare to Winona's beauty and that seems pretty intentional given she's the love of his life. And he's never been with another woman who is remotely in the same league as Winona but Raylan has decent chemistry with his flings (well, not the social worker but he had good chemistry with the other ones like Ava and Karen Sisco). They had Carolyn dressed like she was HIS grandma and all she did was complain to him. I don't think he revealed a single thing about himself. Zero spark, zero heat between them.

The thing about Carolyn is there is nothing really appealing about her. You don't need to think she's attractive or the right match for Raylan but the bigger issue is that her personality sucks. All she does is complain to Raylan about her life and how everyone is out to get her. She doesn't ask him a single question and he never shares anything about his life that we see. I don't expect her to be a Winona level beauty because really who ever was other than Winona? But even if he isn't looking for an attractive woman this time, he sure as heck isn't drawn to her non-existent personality. It's not like he's admiring her as a lawyer considering she's a crooked lawyer at that.
