I love that you're pushing these two cameras over the GoPros... I'm getting so tired of the majority of people just not getting it... GoPro is NOT the only action camera and they are by far not the best. DJI Osmo Action has been better in every iteration, but people only know the brand name recognition amd think GoPro when they hear action camera. It's like facial tissues, all anyone calls them is Kleenex, but thats just a brand!
GoPro is not the best, they're just the oldest.
Yes Action 4 is better quality here, but i just love the size of the Go3 and the creative ideas you can do with it.
People are too obsessed with bit rates and resolution these days and it's something that doesn't matter. Unless you're making a movie for a big screen theater, 99% of people will never tell the difference or even give a damn. It's the content that counts, not how high a resolution you started in.

The Insta360 Go 3 seems like a wonderful camera, especially for POV shots. But I think the DJI Action 4 would better fit my needs. Great comparison, thanks for sharing.

*I bought the GO to replace my X3 because although 360 is awesome I find myself using it less and the GO3 is just Perfect for me and my Daily Needs*
🇨🇦/🇺🇸... I, too, have the X3 and it is a fun camera... HOWEVER... it comes with a lot of built in ANXIETY with those very exposed lenses! (even when using the lens protectors)

I just want one for my vacation and dog walks, and perhaps the odd bike ride here and there. I've ordered the Go 3, but unsure I've made the right decision! 😂

I bike 🚴 and go skiing ⛷️ in winter and summer, the go 3 sounds perfect for me in this regard, lightweight easy to access, fun to use. Now the quality may not be 40000k 120fps blah blah blah but I’m pretty sure 2.7 k will look great enough for what I’m doing, if I was an actual vlogger or my job was making videos, of course I would have more expensive setup n camera 😊 just my opinion 😊😊😊😊😊❤

Magnetic mount is the way forward . Maybe in future the manufacturers will combine with fast locks. For extra secure mechanisms

It would have been nice to see way way longer video quality comparison. Its like the shortest section.
Does the Go 3 lock beyond just the magnetism? For example the pendant mount, if you do anything that actually involves “action” it seems like it can easily be jumped off the magnet and lose the camera. Does it lock securely?

Buy dji action 4 , it's more clear , I have insta360 go 3 and it's good only at daylight but have some blurry if you going to fast , in night or lowlight it's terrible I regret buying it

I don't really think there is a comparison between the two. I mean yes you can compare them but they're for two different people.

why does it feel like this video is more bias on showing the go 3 footages. where are the numbers for the battery life for the action 4? most of the sample footages are from the go 3....
I did forgot the add the text but mentioned that the A4 battery is really really good. Go3 just needs more explanation of how to use it more than Action 4. I had to reiterate how it’s different. Most know how action 4 and GoPros work.
Insta 360 I think great camera!!
The Insta360 Go 3 is okay, but my main problem is that for enough battery life it needs the battery pack, and then it loses all size and waterproof advantage. Then it's just a lower quality but still expensive action cam.
Insta 360 does not have SD card. No way.
As someone who has been subscribed to your channel for many years, I (as well as thousands of others) value your comments, and recommendations, and look forward to whatever the next drone, camera, accessory, etc review will be. I don’t know whether some of your reviews “may” be paid and therefore there “may” be restrictions on what you can say…. Hopefully, on all reviews, you’re free to say whatever crosses your mind, being it good, bad, or ugly. But as someone who is old enough to be your grandfather, I have a small problem with this review….. I and another subscriber (who I have no idea who he is) asked you a simple question….”which tripod were you using with the Go3?” I was given a little red heart by you as you did to every other comment, but no answer to the question. Why? Is that little tripod from another manufacturer and you’re feeling restricted about answering the question, or is it that you think I/we should be able to figure it out by ourselves, or is it something else? This wasn’t a question that would take a long explanation, if it was, believe me, I wouldn’t have asked it. The tripod you had connected and were showing, enhanced the value of the overall small package, and seemed like an ideal first accessory to buy to go along with the Go3, and I appreciate the fact that the review was about “what’s best for………………….” But surely, mentioning the name/model of the tripods you used would not have taken anything away from the quality/fairness of the review. I’m hitting 77 and gave 20 years to the Air Force, and money is tight these days so any information about displayed accessories that YOU obviously valued by showing/handling the tripod throughout the review would be helpful to your subscribers. Sorry, one mini tripod is a little cheap free one I got at a show and the one on the dji action is a mini tripod that dji used to have a extension extension rod set, but they no longer have available. As you see my explanation is long and I’ve written it multiple times in previous posts. Hence why I don’t reply to every single comment asking about it. Hope that helps. There’s no secret tripod, i just put tape on one of them because the logo was from some giveaway at a show.

@@BobLewen ya I’m bummed dji doesn’t sell the mini tripod separately. I know people would buy it. But it was part of a package they had before and never parted it out separately. I appreciate your support. Reply to all comments can be difficult.

Action 4 actually a better one as compared to Go3. This is my personal opinion.

Saya kira insta360 go3 terjebak oleh ide awalnya sendiri. Keunggulan yang dia miliki sudah dimiliki oleh pesaingnya.
Lalu kenapa Insta360 tidak mencoba menambahkan fitur seperti infra merah untuk pemandangan malam? Yang itu belum dimiliki oleh yang lain dan akan sangat membantu bagi konten kreator yang ide kreasinya tentang petualangan malam. Sebab action camera itu sangat ringkas, ringan dan mudah untuk dibawa berlari saat konten kreatornya ketakutan dimalam hari. 😅😅😅
