How to Remove and Install 2017 Ram Front Fender

- Detailed removal and install of the drivers side front fender of the 2017 Ram 1500.
**The camera has reversed everything so it looks like the passenger side but it really is the drivers side fender.**
I learned a lot through this process and hope that my videoing it helps make your job easier too.

There are no 1/2" bolts. Those larger ones are 13mm....surprised a Canuck would make that error....but with the video backwards, we can expect to strap in.

Should have taken the head light out would have been easier to get those little bolts in the front of the fender 👍✌️

Thanks for the question and i apologize for not getting back earlier. we moved and were without internet for awhile. anyways the fender had a crunch ooops so i pounded it out and repainted it and reinstalled it.
Jeff, you replaced the small rubber bumper with the plastic clip between the fender and the headlight. Did that just push in or is there a slot or clip of some type that holds it in place?
Hey Charles, if it is the triangle looking piece your asking about (time mark about 22:04) i just slid it back in place on the fender and there is a plug that helps it stay in position. The fender slides into the triangle like piece. With the plastic part on top of the fender and the rubber part underneath. the plug (time mark 1:30) goes through the foam piece into the plastic/rubber triangle type piece, that is slid on the fender edge. Hope that helps

Good question. Just pins and bolts. I think it took me a couple of hours to take off and the same to reinstall.

As I was watching this I noticed that the parking brake was , well in the wrong side. Listening to this gentleman I thought he might be from Canada. Being that I used to live in Canada I thought they also drove on the left hand side but this truck is right hand drive. Um did I miss something? Need help lol

How do remove the back passenger side
Hi Willis. i only removed the drivers side, so i cant say for sure but my guess is the bolt set up for the front passenger is very similar to the drivers side. I show the drivers side removal in detail for you in the video.
I needed the info, but it was torture to watch this. I can see why it's 40 plus minutes long.
