Emerald is an absolutely stunning cave. I love that basin. It's huge! Scootering around in that basin with nothing but natural light is about the most mesmerizing experience I've had underwater.
After the " behind the scenes" episode, now i can watch all of this and have in my imagination an idea about the hard work and people worked for this amazing shots, and have an idea how Jonathan pretends to enjoy carrying the gear and pretends to enjoy doing boring work 😂❤ Thank you guys and good continuing ❤
I had no idea you guys still posted!!! I’ve been watching you for 8 years ❤❤ never gets old! You’ve inspired me so, so much! I’ve gone on 2 dives because of you, and I want to be a marine biologist now 😁😁
Welcome back....we post every month at least once, sometimes twice, with brand new adventures. And we have another channel of behind the scenes and extras @blueworldplus
Awesome video Jonathan! I saw your channel way back and my first video I’ve seen was the monk seal one. Well yesterday I went to Poipu Beach and there was a Hawaiian Monk Seal far away so my dad took a photo from his long lense camera. It was amazing! And the fact is WE LITERALLY SAW ONE again, but earlier in the day. I did the Napali Coast snorkel tour and that was amazing. I did that yesterday. It was my first time. I saw the spinner Dolphins and another monk seal. How cool is that?! 2 of them on the same day. It’s just insane. I just wanted to share that story because your videos long ago originally brought me to be even more interested in the ocean and also into filmmaking. Ever since I’ve been into film making documentary, but I want to add a little twist of cinematic to it. Your show and your channel really has brought a lot of light in my life and I’m grateful for it. I hope you have a great day!
Another excellent video. I didn’t understand the allure of cave diving until I started watching your cave videos. I’ve got a ways to go before I try cave diving but it’s on my list
I'm a simple person, I see a diving video and click like! I have an impaired ear drum (pin hole size) and have tried surgery for it a couple of times to no avail so with that, can't dive.. lol. Thanks for taking us along on your trips!
I would hate to be in that dark hole & come across a dead body. That's one reason I never dove in caves. 2nd reason I'm claustrophobic or don't like being somewhere I can't reach the top of the water to be able to breathe even if I'd get the bins from coming up to fast. Mask off to you all for being able to do it. I could probably go into the cave a little ways but not for a hour or so with no openings. I have to have an escape route. I like open diving better. Loved seeing the albino crayfish though. Thanks for showing that huge room even if we couldn't really see it & we had to use are imagination. Chris from Missouri
That looks like an amazing dive. I just recently scheduled my open water class but hope to one day be cave certified to have these experiences. Caves are truly the motivating factor for me wanting to learn to dive in the first place. Thank you for the great videos to help keep that motivation up.
@@72151 definitely not in a rush. Going to take my time at each level and get a good amount of experience in at each one. Just nice to have both short term goals and the overall goal to where you want to be.
HEY ,.. JONATHAN WOW I'LL Give you guy's So much credit I Find this kind of Diving so Interesting you have so much experience and patience I could never do that kind of Diving my brother was a driver way back in the 1970s and as a kid I would use his diving tank and masks in the bath tub he new I did and showed me how to. Use the moth price it was so fun he was a driver for many years on Long Island sound In Bridgeport CT
I love this content in 4k. I have a 4k desktop setup so a lot of the 1080p videos out there are overly pixelated when they're stretched to fit my monitor.
Hi Jonathan and team, loved this video! Just had a quick question, do you know why some of the videos are missing from UA-cam? Specifically I was thinking of the Stargate Blue Hole one and the traverse where you went from Friedmann sink to Catfish hotel?
Yay ! The dive with mehdi i was waiting for ! Dang it's pitch black ! I would become claustrophobic in an instant 😅 Did mehdi invite you to have a taste of some french wine at the end ? #vivelafrance
We are such fans of FL Springs we are heading towards Dunnellon to visit Silver and Rainbow Springs. Thank you for showing us other perspective of this amazing places.
The only way to really get into Ginnie on a summer weekend is to show up super early. The next two weekends I am doing some video work in Ginnie, so I am planning to get in by 7am at the latest.
Someday I hope I get to see you ..!! I love diving so much but I have varicose veins and I loose my confidence … I may not cross that threshold of wearing shorts and learn to swim but you are my hero brother ..!! May you and your family get all the wellness for everything your doing…
You should make a video on Stromatolites, it’s a living fossil that first formed around 3.7 billion years ago. They can still be found in Australia, truly a window into earths early life.
Yeah, he does a very good job of that! He has excellent training, timing, patience and equipment, otherwise he'd be dead. Maybe he can do a vid on what it took to make this vid, I'd like to know more about the cost and training required to use a rebreather.
@@Roylamx Except to lay out about $10k for a new rebreather and training for cheaper units like the KISS, Fathom, or Chiptima. $15k for more traditional backmount eCCRs. Except it to take about a week, the minimum class time allowed by standards is typically five days.
I'll be honest when everything goes right, cave diving is easy. Sure the equipment can take some time to prep, get to the water, and put on. But when you get into the water because it is such a controlled environment I find it easy, because I've trained and planned for most things. Now when thing go wrong, they can go very wrong. Multiple failures can easily mean the death of the team.
@@petsgamesandrobots438 well the lost river is reminiscent of those cenotes that have the brine, maybe the crystal caves, but darker or maybe the deep twisty bridges, but dark as well.
@@BlueWorldTV I'm familiar with deer bones...I've collected deer skulls in the past and seen many deer skeletons. Now it's possible I'm wrong if I was wrong about the size of the vertebrae you showed...size is easier to assess against familiar objects, which weren't present in the video...
и представьте, что вдруг под этой гигантской пещерой их станет еще больше, и однажды образуется трещина, и вся вода хлынет туда, и появятся новые виды, опасные для человека .... and imagine that suddenly there will be even more under this giant cave, and one day a crack will form, and all the water will rush there, and new species dangerous to humans will appear
The bubbles are actually from the breathing loop. When you ascend with a rebreather, the volume of gas in the breathing loop expands and some has to be vented. As well, when you descend, the volume of gas gets compressed, and you have to add more or you won't be able to take a full breath. As well, if you have any air in your BC, that will have to be vented as you ascend. So in the normal course of a dive with a rebreather, unless you stay at the exact same depth for the whole dive, there will be a few bubbles vented here and there.

Man the fact that there's no sky above that giant room terrifies me yet its amazing how there's an entire auditorium worth of space underground.
So awesome!!!!! 😃

That was very entertaining, seems like there are not many underwater animals, or they just hide , cool work !
Caves are not full of life. There is life, but it has very little to survive on, and that limits how much can live in that environment.
