I am amazed that the bed made from a tree appears so often but Odysseus' dog didn't get a song where he recognized his best friend despite his disguise and finally can rest from his watch over his family. Argos totally deserves a song.

Now that's a BADASS bow, and perfect to be a challenge. To string that monster gnarled wood would honestly require to have crafted it or tremendous strength. Not to mention then actually fire an arrow thru 12 axes in perfect straight flight... gorgeous sequence of animation!
Penelope looks gorgeous, also her being alone in their olive bed is quite sad :( And the owl!! Athena :D. Her giving Penelope a sign is clever. The tweleve axes part was so clean omg, that was amazing. ODYSSEUS LOOKING AT PENELOPE OMGGG, AND THE COLORS CHANGING TO A PINK TO SIGNAL THEIR LOVE AND LONGING AHH. AND THE BRIEF SCENE OF THEM BEING ALONE IN EACH OTHER'S WORLD AHH. Holy- Okay. To start, i love the owl having the scar over its eye like we saw Athena has during the livestream! The animation on those axes swinging down into position was smoother than butter, and the lovey look in Odysseus's eyes fading as he saw a flash of the blood on his hands killed me! Amazing work!
I loved this animatic! I love how expressive you make Penelope in the first part of the song, you can easily feel her grief and her anger at the suitors and their advances, and how she is unable to fully resist them after so long. I loved the owl!Athena that showed up in some parts of the song, as if to signify that even if she wasn't outright present in most the Ithica saga she was still observing. The edits and the shots with the vast amount of suitors helped to bring inot perspective just how many of them were there, both bringing to light the hopelessness of trying to fight them and how powerful Odysseous was that he overshadowed all of them in battle with some aid. Yet how she was very dignified and composed when she finally faced them. Also loved Odysseous subtly showing up in the end of the song. Very good animatic.

First i like how at the start the threads look like the bars of a cage cause she's trapped in the situation Then, the scarred owl :) Canonical athena suggesting her that it's time to arrange the challenge. THIS IS SUCH A GORGEOUS ANIMATION! WORDS CANNOT EXPRESS HOW MUCH I LOVE THE DETAILS, THE ART, YOUR STYLE I JUST… AAAAA! I also LOVE how you added the detail of Athena suggesting the challenge, I’ve heard that in the original myth Athena was the one who suggested the challenge! I LOVED THIS!
And utterly blows me away, how someone with your talent and skill can get a masterpiece like this out so quickly you did a fantastic job conveying the emotions of the color, indicating the different changes in emotions, the subtle nuances in the hand movements was particularly incredible Great job as always.

Don't know if this was intentional but the way Penelope and the shroud are framed makes it looks like she is behind bars in a cage, which tracks since she has basically been a prisoner in her own home for 20 years. Then the little Athena owl with the scar on her face! My heart 🥺. And the way she subtly hints to Penelope that she should initiate the challenge? So good! Then we go to the suitors. I know he's a villain but your Antinous design is kinda... 😳🔥. Also the way you animated the 12 axes was so dynamic! Lastly those parts with Odysseus reaching out and being unable to when he sees the blood on his hands made me so sad in the best way! This is my favorite Ithaca song, and this animatic fits it perfectly!
