Um, the ATC radar is flashing, "Crash avoidance" alerts for at least 10 seconds before the ATC says ANYTHING. THEN, he only asks, "Do you have them in sight?" The ATC not only delays his actions by at least 10 seconds, he DOESN'T command the helicopter to change its flight path. And THAT was the proper course of action for the ATC. The plane was on final and therefore had the right of way - not the helicopter, military status notwithstanding.
Bro, if you really think about it, he’ll be the third person this year that had a military background that tried or did cause death to harm other Americans
The only thing that make sense, is that the Blackhawk helicopter intentionally crashed into the air craft, causing mass casualties. I can’t find any other explanation, when watching the video evidence.
I was all sympathy and no blame until Trump decided to blame minorities and go on rants about people with dwarfism. The more I look into it, the more it looks like it was Trump's own fault for firing the FAA. When a conservative blames minorities, its because the conservative knows he himself is to blame. Its a white privilege thing to blame minorities for your own mistakes, which is why conservatives do it every time something goes wrong that is their fault.
So you’re saying we should for the first time in history strip those people of their constitutional rights as American citizens and jail them.. wow.. for how long?
🎉everyones calling this a plane crash its not a plane crash, a helicopter pilot hit the plane, despite two warnings from the tower, i watched it played on video twice the tower said do you see the plane and the helicopter pilot said back twice i see the plane , then the helicopter said they would visualy watch the plane, that was the last transmition from the helicopter pilot
The plane crashed though. That's why they're calling it a plane crash. Planes often crash after they collide with another flying object. That happened this time too.
Some intelligence reports that the helicopter was flying at the same altitude as the plane (which was at the appropriate altitude for the approach) and should have been about 100 feet lower and could have safely passed under the plane.
Too many people think the helicopter intentionally collided with the plane. Do you have any idea how hard it is to time your approach in a helicopter to collide with a plane traveling perpendicular to your path?
And do you have any clue how easily and agily that helicopter could have turned--pulled off--once that airplane was in the middle of its flight window???
They're looking for any conspiracy theory to ward off the blame for Trump over having caused chaos at the FAA and then blaming DEI. When conservatives blame minorities, its basically proof that it was conservatives who did it. They have *always* scape-goated minorities for their own failures. Its a basic tell: when they blame a minority its because they know its their own fault, and they're trying to pin it on someone else. At first I was not blaming Trump for this because I didn't see any way he could have done something to mess this up. And then Trump started blaming DEI, which got me to thinking about what he personally could have done to cause this. And then I found out that he'd fired the FAA director, froze hiring, and told the FAA employees to look for another job because they're going to be replaced by maga operatives as indicated in Project 2025.
I’m sure the helo pilot had traffic in sight, he just had the wrong traffic in sight. So why didn’t the tower tell the helo pilot he was above his 200 foot ceiling and why didn’t the pilot make sure he didn’t fly above 200 feet.

TRUMP CUT THE STAFF THAT CONTROLS HELICOPTERS facts
The evidence is pretty clear if one listens to the tower plane helicopter communication. TWICE the copter pilot says the plane is in my sight and I will avoid. The pilot was looking at the Wrong plane and given this was a training flight it appears the copter messed up…I do not think all 3 members of the copter crew were suicidal.
@@tonystevenson26 the pilot was given all clear to land, the plane had the right of way, the sonar alarm system does not function under 1000 ft. I have been in the cockpit of these passenger planes and the view out the window is very limited. The plane was maybe 5-10 seconds from the runway with full flaps down. The controller questioned the copter pilot as to whether the plane was in view and pilot indicated all was under control. Hindsight the controller could have ordered am immediate east turn of the copter.
What led to the accident? It Was a moron driving a helicopter with the whole sky as space to move, but decided to hit the one plane in the air like htf does that happen especially in the military
dude was suicidal or had some sort of psychotic break. It was a pilot problem, i dont know exactly what was wrong with him, but you dont acknowledge a warning and randomly STILL get into an accident. There's no reason this should have happened whatsoever. Completely avoidable, and absurd. These people weren't short-staffed, everything happened as it should, the warning was given and this pilot biffed it.
Or, more simply, he screwed up and caused this horrific accident. It happens, this is totally the Swiss cheese model of disasters. Too few ATC (thanks Reagan!) and a risky situation of allowed flight plans
It's possible he had another aircraft in his sights. I am reminded of a different deadly plane crash -- in Teneriffe in 1977. In that case, a highly experienced and skilled captain misinterpreted instructions he was given from the control tower (and none of his staff dared question his authority) and, with low visibility he piloted his plane directly into another on the runway. Safety reforms included tightening rules about communication to reduce ambiguity.
In 1981, Reagan got an injunction against a strike by PATCO members, protesting work conditions and salary for aor traffic controllers. The court outlawed the strike, and Reagan had ELEVEN THOUSAND controllers fired and blackballed. The industr never recovered as many of the fired controllers were people who were pilots or controllers from the Korean and Vietnam wars. For the next decade, inexperienced controllers led to a variety of incidents, from runway mishaps to deadly crashes. The industr never recovered. The persecution of controllers led to a chilling effect for union members from other industries.
Already been released that the helicopter pilot is a Democrat extremist Trans radical. Manifesto. Hates America and Trump. So just looking like more Den terror and violence
Visual separation means the pilot is in charge not the tower and they were confused probably by the number of planes. They didn’t see the one they actually hit him. They were focused on another one.
"There is no such thing as an accident. An accident is when two people aren't paying attention at the same time, cross each other's path." - Any Motorcycle Safety Instructor.
The military is about following orders. Their orders: stay BELOW 200 feet and stay within so many feet of the bank of the Potomac OPPOSITE the airport. The helicopter pilots did NOT follow their orders, and because of that, the collision was DOUBLE their maximum flight ceiling and in the MIDDLE of the Potomac, not the far bank.
The helicopter was flying at the wrong altitude. Yes maybe they were confused with the many planes but if theybwere following the rules, their confusion wouldn't have mattered.
Why was only one person working in air control when there was supposed to be one ? Why Was the helicopter pilot not at the level in the air that they were supposed to be in ? This was a fluke indeed.

Many of you people in the comments have hypotheses and thats it. The reality of the situation is that we dont have all the facts yet and nothing can be definitively determined.
"The officials" will take a long time to "decide" where the error was, even though they already know how and why it happened. YES. However waiting lets the interest from the public die down.... Then if the cuts by President Trump to the FAA are actually the cause, of why, on a busy commercial air traffic night, WITH the army flying choppers in the area, the FAA had one single Air Traffic Controller in the tower, they can announce something else, quietly and dismissively, with most people having lost interest in the story. It is likely they'll rule an ATC mistake. Air traffic controllers are union members. The union will minimize damage. IN TRUTH, the tower wasn't fully staffed on a busy night. The question ; Was that because of President Trump's cuts to FAA funding ? Or the FAA just decided that they didn't need two people in the tower, on a busy commercial air traffic night, WITH the army flying choppers in the area ? Do you have to think about that ? TWA 800, the Boeing 747, that was accidentally shot down off the coast of Long Island, by Navy missiles during drills, is proof that there's absolutely NO lies that won't be used to coverup mistakes made by the Pentagon, the military the government and the current president. SO....... My money is betting that no matter what, ATC will be talked into taking the blame. It'll be an agreement, and everyone will keep their lips zipped. That's how politicized government agencies work. All the related "official spokes-people" will convey their made for TV empathetic announcements, and then back to business as usual, with a change or two, so it doesn't happen again anytime soon. That's how it works...... nothing changes until a smoking hole in the ground, or in this case a river of wreckage, happens. Go back to sleep America, and in a couple of days if someone remarks about the mid-air collision over the Potomac, 99.9999999999 % of you sheep will get a bewildered look on your face, because you've already forgotten about it.

Trying to figure out what happened here? My pet goldfish can tell you that, a Blackhawk slammed into a jet on final approach who was cleared to land that's what happened here.
They're trying to figure out what caused the mistake. Because Trump is blaming it on DEI, I'm blaming it on white privilege in the hiring process. I'm more likely correct because when conservatives screw something up they always blame minorities instead of taking responsibilities for their actions and their decisions. The present boner move is firing the FAA.
The chopper should have been in control at all times. They can maneuver the chopper within a blink of an eye and the military helicopters are trained not to depend on traffic control Towers. That all said wouldn’t be more possible if someone outside the helicopter having the power to remote control it? Leaving the pilot helpless. Think about it! Look what took place in January two incidents in different locations but similar stories. This behavior needs to stop if someone or group of people are afraid of the truth coming out, it’s simply too late and they shouldn’t have thought they could get away with it. Every criminal eventually gets caught. NBC I hope you’re not covering up and giving the public miss information because the one person in charged knows the truth and it will come out faster than you think. So it’s pointless for these events to continually happen. Folks stay in prayers these evil people will stop at nothing until our Lord and savior and the good guys presents the TRUTH FOR US ALL TO SEE. The hearing says it all the more they ask questions in anger, in fear, or condescending the more you know who they are and what side they’re really on. They sure don’t sound like they’re looking after our best interest it’s more like trying to intimidate the new comers.
We also know that both pilots were white.I wouldn't normally bring race in this. But your president did it first trying to imply that it was a minority that did this
No he never blamed a minority, he read the FAA guidelines to you that said they favor individuals based on race and disability. I mean you could have just read it yourself instead of this embarrassing statement.
What led up to the fatal crash? It's real simple. The helicopter crashed into the landing passenger jet. STOP with all the unnecessary helicopter traffic in that area then PROBLEM SOLVED.
The idea that there is any air traffic near the airport other than flights to and from the airport is not only stupid but indicative of how little sense the government makes
Not short off staff. The airport was voted by DC officials to increase civilian traffic (so they could get more convenient flight). The traffic control was short staffed because of the increase in traffic votes for by our government
One of the pilots identified as they/them and the commercial pilot identified as an attack helicopter, and the ensuing confusion led to a collision after instructions from ATC was misunderstood.

What is new is the nonchalant air traffic controller. "[Hellicopter] Do you have them in sight? Pass behind." Um, the ATC radar is flashing, "Crash avoidance" alerts for at least 10 seconds before the ATC says ANYTHING.
The air traffic controllers audio is on tt. The chopper was told the plane was going above them.
This is horrible!! Praying for all the families 😢🙏🏿
I can tell you right now, it's not "task saturation" when I pilot is preparing to land. That's absurd.
the families are in our prayers. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
What "prayers" really did to mankind??? NOTHING!!! God, all of them are fictional characters! The kids, adults on that plane, are dead and that's all!
Bro, if you really think about it, he’ll be the third person this year that had a military background that tried or did cause death to harm other Americans
Exactly..... wtf. What's next
Oh wow you are right 🤔
The only thing that make sense, is that the Blackhawk helicopter intentionally crashed into the air craft, causing mass casualties. I can’t find any other explanation, when watching the video evidence.
Please present your credential as a crash scene investigator. And no, your white privilege card does not make you automatically qualified.
That's crazy. Prayers for everyone 🙏
Just once I would like to see less blame shifting and more sympathy for the victims. My brother knew one of the figure skaters involved in that crash.
TRUMP BLAMED DEI
I was all sympathy and no blame until Trump decided to blame minorities and go on rants about people with dwarfism. The more I look into it, the more it looks like it was Trump's own fault for firing the FAA. When a conservative blames minorities, its because the conservative knows he himself is to blame. Its a white privilege thing to blame minorities for your own mistakes, which is why conservatives do it every time something goes wrong that is their fault.
Tower radio controller should be put in jail and the supervisor. Both in jail
Why, the pilot new his altitude
So you’re saying we should for the first time in history strip those people of their constitutional rights as American citizens and jail them.. wow.. for how long?

The mission to hire mentally ill people ?
🎉everyones calling this a plane crash its not a plane crash, a helicopter pilot hit the plane, despite two warnings from the tower, i watched it played on video twice the tower said do you see the plane and the helicopter pilot said back twice i see the plane , then the helicopter said they would visualy watch the plane, that was the last transmition from the helicopter pilot
Jesus Christ retard, why comment when you are that stupid?
The plane crashed though. That's why they're calling it a plane crash. Planes often crash after they collide with another flying object. That happened this time too.
Some intelligence reports that the helicopter was flying at the same altitude as the plane (which was at the appropriate altitude for the approach) and should have been about 100 feet lower and could have safely passed under the plane.
Too many people think the helicopter intentionally collided with the plane.
Do you have any idea how hard it is to time your approach in a helicopter to collide with a plane traveling perpendicular to your path?
FAMALIES ARE SUING TRUMP FOR MURDER facts ha
And do you have any clue how easily and agily that helicopter could have turned--pulled off--once that airplane was in the middle of its flight window???
Seems like you are the one that has no idea.
Helicopters are very agile, that's why most of us are in shock 😢
My heart goes out to the families who lost loved ones.
The aircraft that the helicopter was watching to keep it's separation was not the aircraft they should have been watching.. maybe...
That's my assumption as well but I fail to see how they missed the lights of the CRJ they hit. Especially on a clear night.
Condolences to the family and friends on those that lost their lives. ❤🙏🏿
So it sounds like pilot error.
@ I agree so how in the heck can the President blame everyone under sun until all the facts come out.
We don't know yet😢
The evidence is pretty clear if one listens to the tower plane helicopter communication. TWICE the copter pilot says the plane is in my sight and I will avoid. The pilot was looking at the Wrong plane and given this was a training flight it appears the copter messed up…I do not think all 3 members of the copter crew were suicidal.
Didn't the pilot even know he was over 200 feet altitude ?
@@tonystevenson26 the pilot was given all clear to land, the plane had the right of way, the sonar alarm system does not function under 1000 ft. I have been in the cockpit of these passenger planes and the view out the window is very limited. The plane was maybe 5-10 seconds from the runway with full flaps down. The controller questioned the copter pilot as to whether the plane was in view and pilot indicated all was under control. Hindsight the controller could have ordered am immediate east turn of the copter.

Democrats Employ Idiots
The pilot in the helicopter had ulterior motives.
And how do you know that? Were you in cahoots? Did you make plans with him? Must be true otherwise how would you know?
the helo route has a maximum altitude of 200 feet. The collision occurred at 300 feet. Looks ro me as a pilot that the army pilots messed up.
dude was suicidal or had some sort of psychotic break.
Safety reforms included tightening rules about communication to reduce ambiguity.
you don't know what happens. You just as bad as that sexual Predator Felon in charge. Let the investigators do there job.
I wonder if these helicopters can be flown remotely????
Probably a lot of military people going off these days, very strange indeed 😢
How could the helicopter not see the dang plane ? Sure looks fishy to me....what was the pilots last name ? ....uh, dont answer that 😮
In 1981, Reagan got an injunction against a strike by PATCO members, protesting work conditions and salary for aor traffic controllers.
Exactly! I met a retired air traffic controller and he told it just as you have said.
Already been released that the helicopter pilot is a Democrat extremist Trans radical. Manifesto. Hates America and Trump. So just looking like more Den terror and violence
Oh c’mon! 😂 That has ZERO to do with THIS.
Much of what is currently wrong with the nation started with Reagan.
Well the shortages decades later are due to the C19 nonsense
Visual separation means the pilot is in charge not the tower and they were confused probably by the number of planes. They didn’t see the one they actually hit him. They were focused on another one.
TRUMP CUT STAFF facts

Airport has to be moved away from Washington 15 30 miles
Why was only one person working in air control when there was supposed to be one ? Why Was the helicopter pilot not at the level in the air that they were supposed to be in ? This was a fluke indeed.

Because while soldiers give up our rights when we decide to protect this undeserving shit-hole country, the military nonetheless protects our ID until our families have been informed. You should just be like your fuhrer and presume they were black so you can pretend it was DEI that caused the crash and not Trump firing the FAA.

“Look at that! They nearly missed.”-George Carlin

Jan 22nd: Aviation safety advisory committee disbanded.

If that was a busy air traffic route. Why didn't the military seek an alternative route. I think this could have been avoided. It makes you think. How poorly our aviation is managed. And how poorly the planes are kept. Something has to change too many issues with planes. My heart breaks. For the victims and their families.😥⚖️
Our condolences 😮😮
Pilot of the Blackhawk was probably suicidal.
That's where I'm leaning. He acknowledges that he see the plane, but goes right into it. Its easier for the helicopter to maneuver than a jet
@someguy5927 especially a Blackhawk. Nevermind the fact the was 150 feet over the maximum altitude allowed for the route he was on to avoid this shit
Or he was arrogant. He thought he was the greatest pilot and knew what he was doing. Instead of being cautious and careful. That's my thought with hearing the communication
Tragedy 😢😢😢😢
Flight control direct air traffic. For Miles ahead they also track every aircraft. So either there was some kind of weather condition or mechanical failure or user error. There's no cause for speculation just check the black box. What is more important and what everyone who was paying attention should be focused on is supporting the families in their time of loss grieving with and encouraging them

Please video your goldfish giving this explanation and post it. It will go viral.
