I have a comittment to memorize a lot of scripture just in case the Bible becomes elligal. In the old times people did not have the Word at their fingertips, and we have become lazy.
I had a dark time with nothing else to do other than listen to the Bible on a Bible app all the time. I was lonely, but heard someone talking to me all day. This gave me a commitment to God's word that I cannot explain.
