Im a teen, and i absolutely love your channel. My mom and I deep cleaned my bedroom a couple months ago, and i rearanged my bedroom so i could see more of the floor. I found out that i have hoarding tendencies because I have both Autism and ADD. I keep things for projects and completely forget I have them. With my room being cleaned ive found ive been doing a lot better, and these videos keep me aware of what i do and dont need. I appreciate you sharing your journeys as you clean :D

When you said “everybody deserves a clean toilet” my heart broke for your client and grew 3 times for you. With what you do, no one ever call you “bad soul Johnny”! 😂. Much respect to you💜💜💜

This person could single-handedly clothe an entire village. 😮

This is so much better than the show hoarders. You’re actually helping people instead of exploiting them.

  • @cindymills8990

She is showing some progress by the fact she is allowing you into her house and straighten up things!

Hmmm. Shoulder pain problems... If it wasn't for the fact I'm in the middle of a move? I'd be throwing donation money at your stubborn face. All right, feel free to leave this advice if you're unsure, but I'd recommend supplementing with: GABBA (around 750 mgs) and specifically Cetirizine Hydrochloride / Zyrtec (10 mgs adverage). Use for three-or-so weeks in a row, GABBA in particular is better if taken before bed. If affordable, albiet more on the anecdotal side, include some powdered chamomile pills (mainly flower parts; between 500 - 700 mgs). They'll reduce your body's general inflammation and reduce some of your pain. No need to include the chamomile if you happen to have any major pollen allergies, even if it's with the mentioned antihistamine. (In the medical field, not currently taking the time to explain with a longer text wall. Edits, edits, edits.)

I’m autistic. ( I know you are.) I’m really good at lifting/carrying/moving things that are heavy and hurting myself. In my family we lovingly call it “stupid strong”. In my case my muscles can handle a lot more weight than my bones/joints can. So without thinking (stupid) I snag up heavy things and take off with them and knock joints out of place and cause myself other injuries. Take care of yourself, you are the only you that you get.

I bet a moose in a bedroom would be useful. Use their antlers as clothing racks.

  • @RoseofSharon3

I guess when you got too many clothes you have to put them tubs. Might be time to cull through all those clothes and par down. Well there’s my two cents worth.

  • @melissalorden5789

Oh my goodness I am so sorry you hurt yourself!! You did an amazing job on this room despite the fact that you had to put all the tubs back in but man what a transformation with the carpet vacuumed and the bed made it actually looked like a bedroom again. You’re an angel for helping these people in need!! ❤❤❤❤. Thank you for doing this work. I hope your shoulder heals up very quickly!! See you next week 😊

I always remember watching an episode of Hoarders, where the guys house was far worse than this, and the therapist asked him what 5 items he would grab if his house was on fire. He said his glasses, his medication, his car keys, his wallet and his cat.

  • @Agentxile

You're a saint. My mom passed six years ago and though her house was very clean and uncluttered looking, it was because she managed to cram everything into closets, under the bed, the garage, etc. Her hobby was buying in bulk and I also found things from the time of my childhood that she kept like old pots and tools. Needless to say - I treasured most of it and now my house looks like a second hand store. I have a lot from my grandmother too. Wish me luck, as I now understand most of it will have to go away and free my mind and house. PS. I would call myself a collector of memories, but I have to move on.

"They call me 'Johnny destroying his own body' back in Austin." 😂😂

  • @nelliekenny9630

I find it so freeing to go through my stuff and send any clothes I haven't worn for a while to charity. I have room for the things I want 😊

    1) My apology to you is that I'm ever so sorry I made you hurt your shoulder. May you heal soon and feel better.

  • @MarianneMcVeigh-xz2yv

Hilarious about the "moose"! Love your wacky sense of humour. Sorry you injured yourself too. Hope you're fully recovered.

  • @poodle906sl

Hope your shoulder is healing! It's not just the cleaning how you help these people, but you are an advocate for them by talking about hoarding disorder and helping people understand how they end up with their houses in this shape. You are truly a good person. ❤

  • @wendelinharrison9571

You really did a lot to improve that bedroom! I’m so sorry you hurt yourself. Get Filth to help you until you’re better😢♥️🐾

  • @susanhester331

Hope you feel better soon. Tough job to do. I grew up in a hoarder house. It’s a challenge for those who live in it. The only clean room was my room, the kitchen and the TV room. A year before my mom died, I just bit the bullet and cleared it all away (the hoard) while my mom was in the hospital. She was able to come home because her home was clean! She thanked me not long before she died. She had a clean home and people would come visit again. I hope this woman gets better and part with the hoard and live a better life.

  • @kellyalderfer6430

Oh no! Feel better! Those hoard houses have hidden gems that bite hard! I’m sure the homeowner is so grateful for the help!
