Let me tell you something. If ya look real close, king crimson is straight psychedelic experimental from the get go. Mind expansion, rather than say Yes or Caravan or any other prog rock combo, they sound different. But caravan was totally psychedelic and prog. Thats where England and the US differ on opinions about what is prog, because we made so much of it in the 70s. I dunno. The comment was 11 years ago, I always argue this, but I have evidence in albums but it is about opinion in the end. Totally. Did you catch Opeth, Swedish melodic metal, it's prog, and then gorguts, he takes prog and something else mixes it, very complex. Sorry about rambling. Rock n roll
