I want to clarify that I was attacking the mindset that is common, not the players who play on the server. I've played on Charlie more than I have on Able this past war and frankly, Charlie isn't a trash shard and hasn't been for a while. People play competitively, and while it has less people doing critical things and generally less logi, it's still a real war. In the past Charlie was seen as a meme server but this war, and a lot of vets do acknowledge it, has substance. That's why you see so many people dedicated to playing on this server, people dump hundreds of hours into these bases to keep them maintained and to fight off the opposing side. Burnout here is real. It's a testament to how dedicated the playerbase reall is. Obviously I don't hate Charlie players, but it's this mindset that instantly says, >Cheating was involved! that I crashed out over. I apologize for having a fragile ego. Base was actually decent, just needed T3 gates and to get rid of MGs for internal defenses. xd

The people I play with are vets, and so far I've never seen anything fishy from them. If they are, then obviously I'd drop them right away. Either way, it was going to be solo but they wanted to bring 2 extra tanks.
I'll back you up on this. I've spent alot of time with 11 in SIMP discord. He is not, in anyway, dissing or downplaying or discrediting the charlie players.
To be fair we have had a lot of alting/griefing/suspicious behavior in cpass recently, vics being stolen/parked in front of defenses, no ranks scouting nuke with binos, that kinda thing. While I think its fair to trust that your kill was legitimate and you did proper scouting beforehand, just know that thats where the accusation is coming from

This is true for both sides, Frogs and Storm for Wardens and SIMP/MMM for Colis, Charlie is just starting to develop its own community. I had a similar opinion at first but I actually think it's good for there to be a smaller but coherent regi experience on the server for new players to interact with. Foxhole without this wouldn't be a good intro to the game.
some context on the base: Crumbling is built and maintained by four separate groups, all of which with their own separate sections, and there isnt really much coordination between defenses in the separate sections, leading to weak points like that road in. Honestly a shame, because a t3 gate in the right spot would have shut down this attempt. Oh well, resources for nukes are easy to get, but lessons must be learned the hard way :P

I’m on the Charlie side for Charlie and cannot understand how that Warden base is so undefended with people! Seems like there is always a group of folks wandering around the Colonial nuke sites and a heavy QRF when attacked (although I haven’t been on yet today so things may have changed).
People do not know how to park their stuff ong. But on a serious note, good work on that kill. I honestly thought the ATG's covering the road would be enough, guess I was wrong. Bit of a skill issue on my behalf, but eh gotta learn somehow I suppose Edit: Bit curious as why the ATG on the left side of the gate into my base didn't fire sooner, was it because of the barbed wire or the random rifle pillbox? You should have 4 atg’s and two machine gun garrisons looking inwards to the gate to stop them from just rushing it like they did in this attack. Also stack like 5 gates or something to slow them down. Just poor bunker base led to this for yall unfortunately.

@@tamarin7037A zipper is a design that is built at a 45 degree angle and built in parallel to a road, it uses corner pieces to make a wall of garrisons. It's perfect for using on entrances for a base as someone will have to drive by every single garrison in order to get through. Usually people will use it to "zip up" bases they have, especially ones with checkerboarding. The design goes Garrison, corner piece, Garrison, corner piece, repeating as long as you want, and it should make an angled line. Also another consideration is to just T3 every gate. I know it can be annoying but it legitimately buys you so much time. We blew two gates to avoid every minefield you had set up. I was going to Havoc the minefield from the south most road at first but realized I could just blow a T2 and go through the little forward BB in order to get to the Nuke.

For the vic I have a resolution set up in my Nvidia Control Panel which is selected in-game, so I F11 and go to windowed mode increasing the aspect ratio, giving the wide view. While running around I just hold the dry dock blueprint out.
Why do we even place AT garris just so a perfectly balanced Spatha can drive right past, sustaining minimal damage, truly the devs have no favourite faction
Correct me if I’m wrong but I’m pretty sure that tank only got hit once by an AT garrison before it got to the nuke because it avoided all the other ones. Maybe place your defenses better next time?

@@ElevendyWOT you see, you used EASY and vet in the same sentence. the "vet" regiments on charlie side are not the actual vet regiments, but 1 or 2 members that wanted to host their regiment name while bringing in new charlie players to teach them the game. there have been a lot of regiments learning and getting better with time, but on the wardens there aren't any able player regiments, only shared names and a couple individual people. the charlie players that have gotten good are burnt out because it seems like (and I'd say is the case) that most engagements with collies on Charlie end up about 3-1 one-sided. there just aren't enough players period on the warden side to support this, causing the existing logi players to play excessive hours to try and make up for it, and ultimately quitting because it doesn't feel like they're accomplishing anything

There were so many garrisons and open areas that weren’t open just a day before. Leave it to a random to get picked to show all the problems and then not have a clue what is actually going on around him. There was a ton of sus issues that I noticed just from your scouting. Not that you personally did, but that it looked like other players had done to the area.
Can I ask how many hours you have in the game? I know you're salty but the MMM guys showed up last minute. Originally I was only going to bring NetMik. There is no possible scenario where they were in the base setting up vehicles before hand. You're ignoring the most important aspects that, the gates were not T3'd, and the bunker design was not adequate enough. Alts be damned, you build a quality base and nobody is getting in. That's how it works on Able, that's how it works with any vet group that actually plays the game. You do your own housekeeping.
