My mom's house is in NC. Love love to hike in the mountains. We dont have steps, but we do have big rocks to climb up and down on to get to little swimming holes. She has a creek running through her yard. It's just so beautiful. She lives in land. Bakersfield NC. Thanks for taking us along on this trip. 😊 Have a great day.

We did get to visit Linville Caverns. It's one of the top locations we'd recommend others to visit in that area. We have some video content from our visit there that we'll try to share soon.

You're close enough to us in Beaufort to be called our neighbor. We love visiting the NC mountains a few times a year. We wanted to share this visit with others who may not have the opportunity to get out and see this area.
When I was in college I worked at a Christian camp near Brevard NC (same general area) for 3 summers. It had 4 waterfalls on the property that were awesome! I don't even know if it's still in operation...thanks!😊❤️

@SaltyReflections I sure do been to Tom's creek falls many times before it was a tourist destination! I'd like to take you fishing on lake James it will test your inner angler skills it's a hard lake to fish but it has some nice fish in it. Some ofectge best small mouth bass fishing in the winter time
My mom was from Black Mountain, and my grandmother lived in Marion. We saw all the sights our whole life. Blowing Rock, Linville Caverns. In 2001, I got married in the outdoor chapel on top of Grandfather Mtn. If you're near Marion fi d Andrew's Geyser. Try to go to.t. Mitchel, highest point in the mountains. ❤❤❤

Not far from here is on fire right now. Black Bear Mtn. They shut down Smoky Mountain because of fire risk.
But that is beautiful place there

I like the waterfalls and the surrounding trees some which still have leaves . do not know how long i would last on that hike i cannot walk to well i use a walker with wheels .
