I went on it before the Durango & Silverton. I went from Antonito to Chama. The train was pulled by K-27 # 463, then at Osier. 463 had switched trains with K-36 # 487. And then we stopped at the Osier dinning hall to eat. Then 487 pulled the train to Chama. While 463 pulled the train that 487 was pulling, to Antonito. At Chama I saw some of the old equipment at Chama that the C&TS has restored. Along with 483 and 484. The two K-36 locomotives. 483 is outside at the yard in Chama. And 484 was in the roundhouse. Then the train had stopped at the Station and there you go the ride had ended. The Cumbres & Toltec is great train ride.
The fire fighter 59:55 and again 1:04:20. When the fire risk is high he tows a water tank with his speeder. And when the fire risk is really high, there is a water tank behind the locomotive spraying the sides of the right of way.
