Written by John Prine, a great poet and musician...Bonnie's father was a famous Broadway performer and she can play the slide guitar like nobody's business..try Give It Up from her debut album...
Sorry I lost my phone and I've been looking for all UA-cam friends love the music you two bring to the table and your reactions are like 🍒s on top keep up the outstanding work my friends 👍
Bonnie is creating great music and won many Grammys for her albums in the early 90's. She place a mean slide guitar. A great song is 'Thing Called Love.' Great review.
Bonnie is an amazing talent. Her tune from 2 years ago called "Just Like That" is amazing and will bring a tear to the eye. Thanks for "Angel". Nice on this cold miserable day here. Singin' along here. Bonnie also does a great cover of the Buffalo Springfield tune "Bluebird".
Like Bob Dylan and others, Bonnie Raitt spent time perfecting her craft in my neighborhood--the West Bank of Minneapolis. My older sister saw an early performance of hers in a tiny room at the University called 'The Hole' and introduced the rest of us to this amazing talent
I only saw her once in 2001. Got my tickets day off show 5th row center . The show had 4 stars performing . Always 3 of them on stage performing each others songs. Bonnie Raitt , Jackson Browne, Shawn Colvin and Bruce Hornsby . Bonnie brought her father out on stage and introduced him to the crowd . Day before the show my search showed Sold out. Shawn always releases tickets day of the show ! I knew this and tried again .
Do some research, she is a very accomplished and recognized as a top blues guitarist. She has played with some of the biggest names, BB King , Eric Clapton. Listen to her hit, "Lets give them something to talk about" She is one of my favorite blues players.
My favorite Bonnie Raitt song has always been "You're Gonna Get What's Comin'." The beat is infectious and ir's just fun to listen to. Would be a great reaction song (BIG OBVIOUS HINT 😁)
I really enjoy you r videos and I just subscribed. I went through your Kenny Rogers videos and you are missing a very special one. It's called 'The Greatest' and I think you will love it. Love and peace!
iirc, written by the late john prine (there is a live version of their duet out there somewhere). many good songs by her. concentrate on her first album, but 'love has no pride' is an absolute standout for me. (it sounds like shawn was really impressed by shakira and, if you can get the video on a reaction without being blocked, you might want to react to 'objection (tango)'. its a smoker.

I Can’t Make You Love Me, live with Bruce Hornsby on the piano is incredible. Bonnie Raitt is a treasure.
Bonnie Raitt is about as real as it gets. Great singer, performer, and she can play that guitar. Saw her years ago and still love her music

Been a fan of Bonnie's for decades. So glad you're giving her a solid listen. Thanks!! You two are fun to watch!
One of my fav songs.
Saw her last year, still fantastic! And the great session guitar player Duke Levine is in her band now.
She has sung this for decades and it only gets better
