I got my DNA tested and was given information on where my ancestors lived on Poland. Kind of amazing. Will Poland use DNA as a way of determining eligibility of granting citizenship.

Hello and thanks for your question! We have a video on if DNA tests can get you EU citizenship (including Polish citizenship): ua-cam.com/users/livelD9yohPA4ls?si=OtaV757m6VDSTp2a
Unfortuently, Poland do not consider DNA tests as a legitimate claim for citizenship.

My family left Poland well before 1920. But I have something to share about my ancestry dna test. I took it looking for viking DNA and found none. It took me 2 weeks to follow this rumor told by our dark age nobles and found these busts that the Roman's have 3000 years ago and my family look like twins of these guys still today. I also found that my last name means the eyebrow bridge of the Sarmatians.
It turns out we were the very first horse people and the only tribe the Roman's feared and forced us to be their cavalry. They took the sons very young for 30 years generationally for 100s of years which forced the daughters to be the warriors and defenders of the tribe. They didn't marry until the men would return, they had arranged marriages. They didn't kill the boys but sent them away to hide from the Roman's. They found the tombs of the Amazon warrior women and they have our DNA.
I wrote THE FIRST HORSE PEOPLE. The history of our ancient horse tribe. We Poles are actually 50/50 Sarmatian/Slavic.
If the Poles and Slavs looked the faces of the Sarmatians that the Roman's have they will see their ancient grandfather's just like I did.

My father was born in Poland and I would love citizenship. I fell in love with Warsaw. I'm finding it difficult to get information.

Would I qualify for Polish citizenship if my father was born in Poland in 1930? However, where he was born in Poland is no longer a part of Poland. It's now modern day Belarus.

If you haven't done so already, get your DNA tested with ancestry. They'll give you names of towns or areas within Poland, where your ancestors once lived.

Just because your family lived in Poland, spoke Polish and wrote Polish doesn't mean your Polish. Get your DNA tested to see what it reveals.
