John admitted recently in an interview that he was crushing big time on Heather going all the way back to S2. He even brought her as his date to the season wrap party that year after she wasn’t even invited! But I think at the time she was getting pretty serious with Scott Baio, so it didn’t go beyond 1-2 dates. However, he said he was still feeling it for her during their S8 & 9 kissing scenes. But what straight man in America back then wouldn’t? 😂
Emma Samms was gorgeous. Yeah, she never had the breezy iciness of Pamela Sue Martin’s characterization, but she did well enough once she had better writing. The writing for Fallon when she took over the character was terrible - it was like a totally different person.
*sigh* THIS was how Emma Samms' Fallon should've been written: sexy, catty, witty, brazen... if she had been written like this, been given outfits and hairstyles and make-up like this, and spoke with the voice she has right here, I doubt anybody would've been complaining too much about her replacing PSM (well, there probably still would be, but much less).
Kelaiah01 your so right, when Emma replace Pam I remember all the fuss.it was . because Pam was not coming back, like Stephen, character was replaced, you get use to her,she looked more a like to Joan ,Alexis character hair styles etc.
Samms had the bad luck to join Dynasty just when the writing took a significant turn for the worse. Fortunately, she stayed around long enough for the Season 9 Renaissance.

It seems to me Emma lost some weight compared to her GH days and she looks great! But try as she might she never sounded American to me. Her accent was always there sometimes stronger than others, but i suppose it's difficult to suddenly completely speak in a totally different way.

Watch the season 8 finale and Fallons hair is way shorter and lighter. Same thing with Pam Ewing in the shower scene with Bobby and Donna Mills once had her cut much shorter then when last scene in a finale to a premiere. Why dont writers get smart and make these woman where a wig for the scene that pics up seconds after the season finale then let them have the current hair for the SECOND episode of the season? It would make way more sense.
Well in Season 4, her eyes were blue and her hair wasn't nearly as full. Why don't the writers do something about that? (Seriously, this isn't a big deal...)

No, this Fallon, as of this episode is 150% on fire. Season 9 was when new writers came, cared about the characters, and wrote them accordingly. Samms always had Fallon's essence - here is where she was able to really show it.
Because, at the time, the production received massive fan mails telling them they didn't like the new Amanda. Karen Cellini was rejected by the audience. Not that she was a bad actress, but she was not accepted as Amanda by the viewers.
