My neighbor passed away from Cancer. His Wife, passed shortly afterwards. Their Dog would not eat at all and had to be put down shortly after that. Died of a broken heart. I cried all day when I heard about that dog.
Same think happened when my grandather died. His German Sheppard stopped eating and drank a few sips of water a day. Every time we opened the door of what used to be his room, he would run in looking for him and whimper at night. He got very skinny but my Uncle who was closest to my grandpa would sit by him and speak to him softly while petting him and begging him to eat because we didnt wanna lose him too. It's as if he understood in his way that we needed him still. He lived another 10 years and passed at 14 after living a happy life on my uncles bee farm. Rest in Peace Lobito, you were the best boy and I love you so much buddy

And when you do come back that couldnt be more happy to see you again.
