Wyoming Mountain Lion Kills Cow Elk

We were able to capture truly something amazing this season. A big Tom Mountain Lion was on a mule deer buck he had killed. (You can see his tines sticking out in the biting clips) As a herd of elk move closer towards him unknowing of him being there. The Lion leaves his deer kill as this opportunity was presented to him. He takes down a cow elk and we caught it through our spotting scopes.
