The song was written as a response to the Mexican music media criticizing them for performing in English. This was their first Spanish language song and was a big FU to the haters. Check out their live premiere of the song at Foro Didi (in 2019). So much attitude in that performance!!

@@erinna_the_white_rose I think it shouldn't be lost that the Foro Didi show was the first time they played this song for the public and it was a HUGE middle finger to the press by a 16 year old Pau, and included the words behind them just to make sure no one missed anything they had to say. For a teenager to take on the press in this manner is so impressive. Watch the Foro Didi show and you'll see the pissed off look in all three of their expressions. Due to this "Don't 'F' with us" attitude, this might be one of the most rock-n-roll songs ever written. JMO

    Welcome to TWA⚡️🤘⚡️
This performance was the final encore for the 23 song 10th anniversary show in Mexico City in October of 2023. They've sold out two nights at a 10k seat arena for next year. They've been selling out their headlining shows in the states this summer, and now opening for Halestorm and Evanescence sold out Canada tour this fall. This band is bound for the stars 🌟

Great reaction! If you listen to it twice, that means I get to listen to it twice. 🤓 Try “Dust to Dust / Dull Knives” from this same concert at the Pepsi Center, it’s incredible! 2 songs for the price of one with a smooooooth transition! You’re gonna like it here! ⚡️🤘

Every one of the 23 songs here is incredible. Narcisista, Que Mas Quieres, and Martirio are in Spanish. The rest of the show is in English, despite 90+ percent of the audience speaking Spanish. Pau got royally pissed at some Mexican haters who said the band was betraying its culture by writing in English and catering to a bilingual and English speaking audience. The Warning had all sorts of detractors as they grew into their career. Several of their songs are about that. The first track on *Keep Me Fed,* their latest album, is *Six Feet Deep.* The video of 6FD is loosely about leaving their haters behind. It seems you're new to this band. Here's a little background:
If you were to go watch some of their very early videos when they were just starting out, you would know that these Mexican sisters were not yet little bilingual Catholic school girls when they first got into music at summer camps. Mom's a dentist. Dad's an engineer. He used to run a recording studio. The girls grew up listening to their parents' rock favorites and watching concerts on TV.
The kids all learned classical piano first, then discovered Rock Band, the video game. Suddenly, they were choosing instruments. Dany started guitar lessons at eight. Pau started drum lessons at six. Ale started bass at seven, a few years later, as she's the youngest. They were a great cover band as LITTLE KIDS. But they rarely do covers anymore. They are as good as, or better than the bands they covered! And in most cases, they are more fun to watch.
Their first two albums were crowd-funded and independently produced! Before watching any more of their music, I'd suggest you watch their two TEDx Talks on the University of Nevada channel, from way back in 2016 and 2017. Perhaps also watch The Warning: The Mexican Rock Stars Who Happen To Be Sisters [TIDAL Rising Documentary] on the TIDAL channel. Maybe watch Mayday in the Making, parts 1-6. As much as you like it now, if you know who they are, and where they come from, their music will make a lot more sense.
These ladies are now 19, 22, and 24. They sold out their Spring tour, 19 dates in Europe and the UK. They're also back from Japan and a stint in L.A. for the launch of their new album, on to Europe for festivals, and headed on to Canada, the USA, and other places this year. They already sold out a 10,000 seat arena in Mexico City for two dates next February.
Their fourth album, *Keep Me Fed,* arrived June 28, and they performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live the night before. They were on MTV Push during July. They played Pol'and'Rock and Wacken Open Air festivals in Europe before many tens of thousands of fans.Their superpowers are LIVE performance, music COMPOSITIONAL skills, LYRICAL depth, STAGE presence and charisma, and personal integrity. Welcome to a deep, deep, 11-year-old rabbit hole.

In the early days they received a lot of criticism about only singing in English. They were called narcissists and cultural traitors. Some also said that their parents bought them their careers. They have had a lot of lucky breaks, and are very talented, but more than anything they worked for everything they received. They sacrificed friendships and doing teenage things. Despite all that in this concert they played for 8,000 adoring fans.
