Be still my heart. Thats a beautuful fat fender. Love the 4 door conversion. I'd make it my daily driver and never let dust settle on it. A truck like this should be seen, not parked away in some collecters garage. Yep, daily driver for sure!!!!!!! My utmost appreciation to those who built it. Simply amazing. Please excuse me as i drool. I have always said that if i had the chance and good fortune to find one i could build it would be a 51 fat fender. Never once did i think about a 4 door version. Outstanding. The builder had a great imagineation not to mention abiljity. My hats off to the builder.

This truck is a 10 out of 10! I only wish more of them could be produced! This is restoration and professional modification at its finest! GREAT JOB GUYS!!!
Nice, just heat up the back section and pull and get that cab extended then cut out for 2 more windows. All you need is some heat on that metal and some rope and another car with a trailer hitch to pull when the metal is heated up. It stretches the metal thin but you can reinforce is after, just triangulate it all to your desired stiffness. But remember when you heat and stretch, when you get it right where you want then pour cold water on it immediately and allow it to stiffen. This guy did a great job with the technique. Usually you need a blast furnace for this type of body, but it CAN be done in the shop.
I couldn't envision a more beautiful truck if I was a wizard! It's always been my biggest dream to own a vintage Chevy truck. I had hoped one day to restore one with the help of my two sons but with my current health state I would be content with just being allowed to ride in one. Thanks for bringing this beauty before my eyes.
I'm a ford lover/driver. Have a 2007 Ford explorer sport track at present time. I drove fords mercuries chevys In my first years of driving. I could See myself owning this, and driving everyday.
There were a few AD crew cabs from back in the day. I think they were aftermarket builds. My local Chevy dealer has a picture of 3/4 or 1 ton crew cab they got for a local mining company. I'm sure most of these were rode hard and put away wet, and this one is long gone.
Awesome truck! I'd like to do something similar to my 53 deluxe cab. The improvement I'd like to make to the design is to add two full doors on it for the back seat and make it a full crew cab. I'm also going to make mine 4x4.
Chevy did built a 4 door truck,,,,they were used in the railroad yards to carry the engineers around ,,,, neighbor has one that has been in their family since 1974....also dodge has them...
A 1950 Chevy Truck was my first vehicle bought for the extreme price of $400 bucks when I was sixteen years old! Three on the tree and the babbit motor but I loved it. Have had a 51, 52, 53 and 54 since that first one. My favorite trucks of all time! This one is a dream truck! Dreamy!
I agree, but the base model for a chevy is 30K, I and a lot of other poor working stiffs can't afford payments and insurance of 500. a month for 5 years. The price has gotten crazy.
John Hare well thank them selfish baby boomers(50 to 60 yr olds) for only thinking of themselves which sky rocketed everything across the board in prices
lol, I'm 63 been poor all my life, had 4 kids and a wife that couldn't spend enough. I didn't have anything to do with it, bought 1- 3K fixer uppers, never owned a new ride.

Love that Rootbeer and Pewter two tone paint. Too nice to be a driver.
Beautifull! Dad drove '48 for at least from '64-'84. Three engine swaps. Riding on the running boards as kids! Whhat joy!

Beautiful truck, would be very proud to own it and drive it.

I love that truck
Wow so beutful
Thanks!
Nice 2 tone
Beautiful truck.. But it would look much better if they had put chrome around all the side/back windows to match the front of the cab..
Lovely exterior. I thought the interior was a bit too toned down but that’s just my opinion. I also like the extended cab. Nice truck.
Thanks Wes!
That's awesome
It is very nice truck as of today. In the 1950's it was build as a work truck that would be way, never build a king cab👌👍
You have to come to Cuba to do projects we also love the work you do
Thanks very much Edel!

I think 4 door would been cool, neat truck, and the doors shut that way on original ones.
❤🎉BEAUTIFUL🎉❤

Fantastic! No Question. But, pickups were made for work. Now they're luxury cars with open trunks with a 60K price tag.
John Hare why not? they got base cheap models too . if a person wants it for luxury .let him .his money not mine
