- The 1949 Chevrolet 5 Window Pickup Custom "Heirloom".....I was attracted to this one at firs sight.....All closed up....Rags all over it as it first came off the truck...When I was able finally get to see it in it;s display for the 2017 Detroit Autorama I knew it was a contender for the 2017 Ridler Award...It didn't win the Ridler at the 2017 Detroit Autorama...But it did win a Great Eight.....This truck has been chopped...Widened.....It's has Gold leaf fro the top of the blower on the LS1 to the Rear end.....It wears it's custom mix paint perfectly....It's on Ridetech air....So the stance is perfect....This is one nice build....Make sure you check it out!!!!....Subscribe to this Channel and Visit www.ScottieDTV.com For new content every week!!!!

Now that's a beautiful piece of machinery/ art!!! The fenders from the Cadillac really set it off! At 1st sight, I thought the mansion supercharger was in pewter or bronze but, The gold leaf takes it to a whole new level!! The wood work is spectacular & the hinge work is awesome to. I would grant them & that truck an award!!!! It's awesome!!!

This truck should win wherever it goes, Period!!! the workmanship and engineering is beyond comparison to almost any custom out there, the color is beautiful and to incorporate the Cadillac rear into a "pickup" bed is the utmost of Innovation, I can only imagine the man hours and trial and error involved along with that hood! and how well it works.......

The Cadillac quarters and rear body panel truly set this build apart. I'd love to use that color on my Nash, especially as it appears in the stills.

My god this is absolutely stunning. I would rock this all day and night. The attention to detail and eye for quality is unreal. Plus the visual appeal and the little subtle nuances is insane. I can't get over the unique materials, the interior and all the custom touches. Just wow. This is my favorite ScottieD spot ever.

Have seen a few decent trucks online (UA-cam) & a few in the flesh. Probably hands down the Best l have ever seen. 👍👌 Sweet. Chevy & Ford had nice lines & curves on there pickups back in the day. But what spoilt them was the square box out the back. This chaps treatment is just Gr8. Something that l had been think'in about over the last 10 yrs. Glad that someone else had the same thoughts & inspirations.

In 1969 after I got my driver's license my uncle had a 1949 c100 he wanted to sell for 150.00
I went to ask my dad and before I could get the cash the uncle sold it
After I married in 1975 my wife from Newton county showed me dozens of homes where people pushed the same old trucks and cars into the river
They were in good shape
Very hard to find these today
