Well presented video - I think I would go for a full-spec Tiguan SEL with every option ticked. Audi are more expensive VW's. Skoda and Seat are cheapened VW's as they have less 'stuff' and more blank switches! Audi are expensive VW's, sometimes with less 'stuff' - so they will sell well! On the Audi UK configurator for the New Q3 just now, I couldn't find a HUD, memory seats, heated steering wheel, a light coloured interior or a swivelling tow bar - all of which are available on a less costly Tiguan SWB. The Q3 had Matrix headlights and cascading indicators over the Tiguan and that was about it.
The side view of the car reminded me of the urus. Especially the rear 3rd side view window area , totally urus-like stylings! Can’t wait for a sq3 sport back/hatchback!!
Absolutely agree on manual knobs for climate control! I now temporary drive a new Volvo V60 and it’s absolutely horrible to have to do it via the touch screen.
Thomas exclusive! Always bringing the latest automotive news/ introductions! Wow, where did this come from? I kind of like this vehicle. It's so tricky designing this kind of vehicle.
It doesn't make any less sense than a non-coupe SUV. All cars are styled to a greater or lesser extent. There isn't a car on the road today which couldn't have a greater internal volume and carrying capacity if its appearance were not considered important. All cars are compromises. The buyer of a coupe SUV may consider the styling part of the equation slightly more important than than his colleague, who, in turn, would not buy a car shaped like a removal van.
SUV Coupes are pointless as they are not good at anything. Poor handling, poor practicality, poor visibility, even styling is let down because the proportions are not golden ratio for a coupe. Throw away the Audi badge, and no one would look twice at this vehicle.
@@richardlabeja Poor handling = meaningless. poor practicality = not true poor visibility = no worse than many other cars in this respect looks = entirely a matter of opinion
@@robertcook2572 Make up your mind. You point to practicality being compromised by style, but you started about saying this isn't less practical. Well, an SUV has more cargo capacity because it less compromised by style, giving them more practicality than a "Coupe".
@@spamfried894 'practicality' isn't something which can be quantified: something is is either practical, or it isn't. This car can carry five people and luggage at high speed, in comfort and in all weathers. It is practical.
The new Q3 was already a massive leap forward from the previous Q3 and one of the best in class but I think the Coupe version is nicer again, it’s even more coherent styling wise the the regular Q3 and I’m normally not a fan of Coupe cross overs. I do think they could’ve gotten away with a little less aggressive rake at the rear a la Q8 but I’m not mad at it 👍🏻
Thanks Thomas for yet another exclusive review. The car really looks good and I’m glad they dropped the fake exhausts. Unfortunately they will probably charge extra for being the Q3’s coupe-ish alter ego.
Why is Audi doing this?? My B6 A4 has the engine mounted correctly (longitudinally) not transverse. These are VW golf's (badged as Audi's). Even Subaru's lowly models have their engine installed correctly!! Get it right Audi. I recently drove past an old 5 cyl audi from the mid 90's and again its Torsen Longitudinal 5 pot is the correct way. TTRS' are an absolute shame (regardless how fast the DSG can shift) as again their transverse. Suspension is garbage too, for again once referring to my 2004 B6 A4 1.8t it has actual "double wishbone suspension' not McPherson Front Strut Garbage.
i totally get you!! nowadays to buy something similar (longitudinal engine and real torsen quattro) you need audi a4 3.0 tdi. and you get it with 8 speed zf transmission. But hey you need to pay more than 70 000€ so that is the lowest price for a new real audi
Disappointing its not coming to the U.S. Great look and love the interior. The mix of screens and actual controls for the climate system are really nice.
q4 name is owned by alfa romeo, that’s what they call their awd systeem. I hope they don’t sell it just so audi can release another shitty suv. Edit: okay rsq3 with 5 cyl engine might look kinda cool
love it buddy ! this will be my future car! i bought the A3 because of ur vids and since im tall and don't have the budget for Q8, i think this is an amazing car ! what do u think its good to upgrade when i come from an A3 ? or should i find other SUV "coupe" in this budget? do u know when u can do the test drive? thanks :)
Hallo Thomas, Frage: die schwarzen Ringe sind gegensätzlich deiner Aussage momentan so konfigurierbar, warum sollte es nur für die Edition1 sein? Danke und Gruß
Wow very quickly. A full detail video of a car that isn't that much different from the Q3. What about the Mazda CX-30? Still no video from you guys, nor a road test of the Mazda3 SkyActiv-X..
@@autogefuehl Why so late? international car journalists (Japan, Germany, UK and Australia) already drove it 10 days ago (others few days later) and posted it online
This is actually the first SUV coupe that I kinda like the rear.
Xavier Ribeiro I just simply don’t like crossovers.

I find it to be one of the most elegant and well proportioned coupe-styled crossovers.
I agree 100%
A mini Q8! I love it. One of Audi’s best efforts in this segment.
I never thought a Q3 could be so cool
It’s actually the first Audi SUV that I like. As always you guys of Autogefuhl are the first to review new cars (this one was totally unexpected).
I agree with Thomas, control knobs for HVAC and volume controls are much easier to use than touch screen.
It's just too bad they reused the 6 year old controls from the A3 which may look dated in a few years
That's what Honda did at first, but luckily they listened to their customers and revived the knobs back.
The side view of the car reminded me of the urus. Especially the rear 3rd side view window area , totally urus-like stylings! Can’t wait for a sq3 sport back/hatchback!!
Eshaan Sharma and rs🤤
No fake exhaust! 👍
No real exhaust either
Yes / Oui !!
I knew Autogefühl will be the first to review this. We are forever greatfull for your dedication.
stay tuned!
The Q3 Sportback is the first "coupe" style SUV that looks good to me. Maybe Audi USA will change plans and allow this car to be sold in the States.
No one review cars, specially, German cars like Thomas,
Thomas , du bist der Beste.
👌🤗
The angular dash design is reminiscent of how cars in the future were portrayed in 1980s movies; I kind of like it.
Best looking Audi I've seen in a while !!
This Q3 couple looks super sporty, definitely going to be a great seller.
Thomas has a way with explaining cars in detail that I like! Audi does it again, would prefer it better with a sunroof, diesel engine, 1.4litre engine
Absolutely agree on manual knobs for climate control! I now temporary drive a new Volvo V60 and it’s absolutely horrible to have to do it via the touch screen.
It's halfway acceptable.
Good to see Audi hid the exhaust pipes than to have fake ones.
DM 2MW On this car yes. Every other new Audi had those stupid fake exhaust outlets
I think it looks weird having a vehicle with no exhausts visible 🤔
@@robertiloski2107 I agree. Even fake exhausts are better than no exhaust.
Lookin smooth Thomas , best reviewer on the internet well done my friend x
Good Looking Car,
Many Thanks, Peace From London. 👍👍
Super first impression video. This is why I'm a subscriber.
👍👍
Nice 🔥🔥🔥, the back looks like URUS 🔥🔥🔥, the first SUV coupe that I like
As always, great review and presentation.
Thanks for the review, Autogefuehl team!
ladies and gentlelmen welcome to the new game changer ! i love the design language! quite well done
bring this to the US ! I was prepared to buy this over the normal Q3. Audi has the best looking coupe' style suvs , IMO.
Thanks Thomas, great review as always!
4:15 Happy to see that it has a rear wiper. Sensible and practical.
This Audi is simply much more than just amazing!!!!
Very smart design. AUDI has got the proportions, specially from the rear.

Honestly it's good job.
Really good.

The "coupe utility" vehicle segment makes absolutely no sense at all.

The best review! Top notch! 👌
One question: Is it my impression or the panoramic roof is not available in the Q3 Sportback? 🤔
There is one
It looks absolutely great! But ooh boy, even 2500 EUR more than the already overly expensive standard Q3? You’re not doing it right Audi...
Audi finally gives it's SUVs a better looking back...
I have a previous generation RSQ3. This looks very similar to that from a side view.
Big mistake not offering this in the US
Yeah, I think there’s some weird decisions coming out of Audi U.S. re:model line up.
They will offer it but maybe few months or a year later
I actually really, really like this.
I like this design, especially the sloping rear
Stunning looking car !
Cool, now make an RS3 version of it :D btw, outstanding presentation by Thomas again, as usual the best.
Cheers! And we ll keep u updated about more versions :)
This is an ASMR video
Why is it not the Q4??? 🙄
Defeats me
The name was already taken and used by some other company ...
The name q4 is owned by Alfa Romeo.
@Antonio Zamudio No. The right answers are below yours ...

Nice looking vehicle. Too bad Audi didn’t make a different LED daytime running light signature for the front and rear to the regular Q3.
I am an Audi fan but just wondering if this looks better than Q8?
Another great review , Audi has a winner with this Q3 sportback. Nice👍!
Thanks! So far they said no :/
Bummer 😞
Really nice design. Only thing I’d change is the rear diffuser which is too big & too much plastic. May look better in black or grey though..
Which would improve it, in my view. Look at Cayenne Coupe - rear proportions are just right.
An Electric version could complete with the upcoming Tesla Model Y

A mini q8 I love it ❤️ It become my favorite car I want one
This looks like a really nice car. I wonder if the new A3 will look similar...
Can't wait to see the SQ3.
Was ein schönes Auto. Bin begeistert👍👍👍👍
Why are they using the switchblade key. That’s crazy. My 2011 doesn’t even have the switchblade key. That is so odd to me.
Since this is a sportback I hope new A3 sportback would have similar look.

Nice design. You are very fast. Thx for the vid.

If they don't base the RSQ3 on this, I'm going to be mad!
I don't know why, but I need this one. I bet it'll be too expensive for my next car, but who knows. If only they'd make it full EV...
I really like this design...
When come in india
Does this mean we get a Q5 sportsback aswell?
Thomas you forgot to review the airplane in the back. :) Where is this filmed? :)
hehe =) That was some small airport hangar in bavaria
Do you have an aversion to glove boxes? 😉 What's the quality on the door trims at the rear?
I really like it
I like MHEV. Better than PHEV. I expect some further development in MHEV too. Way to go Audi. And other. On the minus side black roof interior.
Question for any modern audi drivers, can you turn off the "pulsing" indicators and revert to regular "blinking" indicators or is that not possible?
No you cant
Audi US executives are brain dead if they think this won't sell in North America. Truly a short-sighted move to not bring this to the US market.
GEARY facts. Young female professionals would be all over this in the US
Beauty but these small suvs need sunroofs to help get more light in the interior.
its an option
Shouldn't this be called the Q4? The 'Sportback' name is being diluted!
I think that Q4 being reserved for a compact EV cross over.
NZsarge1 no Audi electric cars have the E-tron name
CAR XPERT XP Never heard about the Q4 ETRON Concept?
no word on the new 2020 Corvette
I feel that this is the most aggressive and muscular looking Audi
Mini Q8! Too bad it’s not coming to the states.
Mini Urus. I like it.
The new grill is much sportier than the basic Q3. The start button and volume control looks cheap on this design,
Nice music!

well we gotta keep u guys updated :)

cheers!
How much will this car cost ?
Audi should call this model Q3.5
It is beautiful car but why no have sunroof?

It looks more than actually it is and longer than normal Q3 (more than 2cm)
