You couldn’t wipe the smile off my face when you and that Pete were running jakes together! I’m a little kid when it comes to trucks lol
Same here! That was cool
When it comes to oversized loads, you do what you must to drive in a manner to PROTECT YOUR LOAD. Other people's feelings matter not!
STEVE, THATS WHY WE WATCH YOU ALS0!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🤣🤣
It was good to hear Steve’s history, sounds like you have good worker and a start of a long friendship. Keep on trucking guys 👍
Its definitely your camera 📷 Overexposure is the result of too much light hitting the film or, in a digital camera, the sensor. Overexposed photos are too bright, have very little detail in their highlights, and appear washed out. There must be a setting not right try default the camera settings.. love the videos very entertaining
he's a truck driver, not a camera man
@@makeitpay8241 lol true but its not to late to learn a camera.
@@makeitpay8241 Indeed
@@makeitpay8241 Actually as per one of his more recent videos he said he's pursuing youtube 100% so he's a youtuber now not a truck driver
There is no way he is using that big camera at the start of the video,. he is still using a cell phone to record,. that camera has a zoom lens,. I watch many UA-cam channels and none of them he this brightness problem..
Tim, professional videographer here, make sure your project timeline is interpreted in Rec. 709 instead of Rec. 2100, then make sure all the footage you import into the project is interpreted as Rec. 709, that way when you render the mp4 in h.264 the colors and brightness don’t change. Telltale that this is what’s happening is the end video doesn’t look the same as it does in the editing program. Rec. 2100 is the default interpretation for h.265/hdr footage, so by interpreting footage as Rec. 709 you’re forcing the program to see it how it should (when the project and the clips are interpreted different it looks like this…)
LOL, SURE GLAD YOU KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON!!!!!! I HAVE TO PUT FILM IN MY 1 MINUTE POLAROID!😂😂🤣🤣🤣👍👍👍
I was thinking it might be a HDR-related issue. You seem to know what's going on. Does this mean that UA-cam doesn't handle HDR very well? I mean, is there no option to encode in h.265 when uploading to YT?
@@Arexodius It seems like youtube is currently considering any video files encoded in an HDR-compatible format as actual HDR, no matter what the actual color range of the video is. So then their player decodes this video as if it's HDR, effectively increasing contrast ratios.
Thank you Steve for your service.
I LOVE trucker camaraderie
I am damn Proud of you. I have never been in a truck. I’m 65 and live vicariously through you. You remind me of myself 30 ought years ago. This is my stepsons channel I watch you from. Teach your children how to make it in the world. Hell with the hater’s.
thank you Steve for your service I served 13 years 6 months the 6 was in Germany during operation desert storm in 91
20 yr Army here
Tim, here is what is happening with your camera. You notice the dash is exposed properly when you are pointing at the interior, but when the camera is looking outside, the exposure is dominated by the amount of darker surfaces in the cab. This leaves the outside brightness overexposed due to the light meter being overly influenced by the darker interior. You could put the camera on the dash and all the outside would be exposed more accurately. There might be also a setting which would let you choose the angle of view that the camera monitors. I hope this is correct and helpful to you. Not criticizing at all.
I also thought it was the HDR and UA-cam compression that making it funky. I did notice that he do have the HDR on but I could be wrong. Also he need a ND filter it will solve 70% of the brightness.
To me it looks like over saturation, youtube has problems but this is not one of them
You can see the over saturation even in the editor when he says it’s not on his end. It’s his settings. Something in post isn’t right.
@@alterrex6921 But he says it looks fine, so now it don't to viewers. If you go back about 10 days ago everything is fine.
Also depends on what setting the meter is set for. Not sure what Sony language but canon it’s evaluative where the light meter takes the average of the whole area of the scene. I’m no video guy I’m a stills shooter but the light meter and exposure work the same. Have you tried an ND filter or even a polarizing filter as that will give you a stop to a stop and a half of exposure.
When you and The driver in the white peterbuilt were hittin the Jake’s at each other i was just dying laughing I’ve done that with several drivers here in NC 😂😂
I like that Steve feller. I greatly appreciate his service to our country 🫡🇺🇸
Tim please tell Steve thank you so much for his services plz. I know you're doing your best work ( even when your videos might not show it and I know you're working to fix it as well ) but keep these great adventures coming your such an inspiration and that W900 is a MEGA BEAST don't neglect it buddy
Steve, sorry you never made it to my backyard with you KC-135 days. Plattsburgh AFB, in Northern NY, home of the 380th refueling wing, which closed its doors in 1995. We miss the planes, but the runway still exists, as it is one of longest runways in North America, and was one of the emergency landing sites for the space shuttle when it was in service. Yes the vets are good people with lots experience and hard working life when they served. Thank You Tim, for hiring these guys.
75 mph no seat belt's black smoke [awesome video's] you have a beautiful family
Y'all can't please everyone, there'll always be someone having something to complain about. Y'all are doing an awesome job keep up the great work 👍
Steve is a pretty cool dude, Good to see you guys running down the road together! Be safe guys! Thanks for sharing!
It’s your camera, the overexposure, you put out good videos, your cameras exposure is just high
Love watching you roll with a fellow driver that grins as much as you do when the jakes come on!
Tim, good video as always ! Traffic in Atlanta, GA is CRAZY !! I agree with Steve from FSC - Drive to protect your load !!! Hi to Steve - veteran to veteran, welcome home to the land of the free and home of the brave !! Thanks for your sacrifice & service to our nation. Both of you stay safe out there !!
THAT YACHT IS MASSIVE! YOU ARE THE BEST MOVER OF THESE MASSIVE YACHTS. I;M VERY IMPRESSED.
LIKE THIS GUY BELOW. SEE WHAT I 'M TALKING ABOUT.
IMHO, the KC135 is one of coolest planes ever built!!
Thank You for your service, Steve .
Best part of the video was the footage from the boat. Sounds good Timmy!! Make’er smoke!!
Thanks for your service Steve
Thank you Steve for your service and love for our country 🇺🇸💯💕💪
Steve, You could NOT of said it any better my friend.. When you said LET them cuss, its only cuz they arent smart enough to know whatss going on :D Love it.
Tim, I really enjoy when we get to ride along and see a little bit of what it’s like to drive a big rig. Tell Steve I said thanks for his service to our country. God bless y’all!
Once again, Tim passing the blame... It is your videos
It's not his fault, he's a expert with UA-cam..
I work around the Macon area and they built that freight liner a few years ago. Good to see a video of drivers diving somewhere I know. Really cool to see
Same here. I live off exit 134 and this video and last have been cool to see them in familiar places. They were actually sitting at the perry exit in the last upload lol.
Steve says “we’re off like a prom dress again!” LOL
Hey I remember yall from A LITTLE SOUTHERN BROTHERS Channel. Yall should go check em out Friday night at 7pm they are doing their annual fundraiser for St Judes children hospital on their live stream. They been auctioning off some good stuff and having some give aways
Hey Tim hope you an your family are doing great good to see you again be safe out there buddy
Thanks for your content...I am a retired otr truck driver...I miss that life everyday but when I got back from Iraq I just couldn't do it anymore...just being able to see the various tasks and the ins and outs of driving brings back the memories...
Steve thank you for your service, i live about 30mins from a tanker base in maine
People in Hahira, Ga. on Friday night, used to drive all the way to Adel, just to see Sparks!!!
Love the W9 man, she sound mean!
That’s awesome, Im active duty Airforce I work on the engines on the kc135 the same plane Steve use to fly on!
Love it when other drivers video our trucks while rollin. Great video Tim and Steve would take care good care of the w9 if he owned it. Couple good ol boys right here.
Siting thikn, he has come a long way, from helper to driver. He should start his own chanel. Wish I had the same shot.. living in NYC really is depression somethimes. Dying to go into the country... God bless you all !!!
Hey brother I love your channel. After being a dump truck owner operator for a couple years, my favorite thing is when people pass in a no pass zone then politely jam on brakes and turn right immediately afterwards lol. Keep up the great content!
Wow this reminds me of my time training last year at the beginning of my career I quickly found out Atlanta is beyond nightmarish I was just pulling a regular 53ft dry van Tim is definitely a man of steel for dealing with that mess pulling a oversized boat
Yea the camera is picking up all the light and makes it super bright! Video is amazing just the bright light glares everything. Haven’t seen any other UA-cam videos like this so I’d definitely just check everything.. keep ‘‘em coming buddy love watching y’all
Good deal, I worked on the KC135 at Travis as a crew chief with 307 CAMS in the 80s!
Tim, did you say that you wanted to drive the big rigs in Australia someday? I just saw a video and those loads are huge! Thanks for the channel!
I wish we could’ve seen Tim knocking his noggin on the cabinet. Haha
Thank you for your service Steve. 🇺🇸!! My oldest son is currently a Petty Officer Second Class in the Navy.
I was towing an oversized boat to the Miami boat show years ago in a construction zone and A black box truck went down the side of the boat. Left him with a nice white stripe down the box. When I got to the show we inspected the boat and only had to sand and polish the rubrail to had black paint in the screws lol.
40:07 that was me in the White Peterbilt! Good running with y’all that day! Iv been asked a lot was that truck in Tim’s video I always reply yes lol! 😎
Your lightening is fine 100% ! People are just wanting to flip their gums and finding something to complain about that they should not be !!!!
Anna more of a fan just for you stopping to help the cop. You rock bud. Hope to meet you one day.
Camera is focusing on the interior of the cab and adjusting light accordingly…which blows out anything outside. The only way to fix it is adjusting in manual mode to a happy medium where the outside and inside light are acceptable light. There’s almost no way auto can adjust both. Maaaaybe try dialing in the focus to a wider range. I always had mine set in on wide range but I had to constantly adjust the exposure even on wide focus.
Sensor on the fancy camera is so much bigger and lets in so much more light than say a cell phone but on the flip side they are not as user friendly as a cell phone or an action camera. It takes practice and experimenting with settings to get it dialed in, I watched HOURS of UA-cam videos to get my settings dialed in even remotely close. You’ll get there, keep up the cool video content! 🤘
Thanks for another video that takes me back to my driving and grease monkey days. I grew up in Atlanta. I live in Winder, now. And do not miss that Atlanta traffic. I'm almost 67, now. If I hadn't lost my left eye to Glaucoma, I would still be driving. Miss those W900's and 379's. Actually started in an old Ford Cabover with a 318 Detroit. After that, I worked my way up to an International Transtar II, 13-speed with underdrive. 290 Big Cam Cummins. Although your videos make me sad, sometimes, because I miss it, they never fail to put a smile on my face. Thanks for that, Brother. Also, tell Steve I said thanks for his service. I tried all the branches of the Military when I was younger. But, they wouldn't take me because I was a bad boy back then. If you have a record, you can forget it. Such was my childhood. Drunk parents, fighting, beatings...You get the idea. But, there were some good times. And I can relive them through you. Love it. ;-)
Tim I just enjoy the videos for what they are . If I want IMAX quality videos I’ll go there . We should be more worried about the price of diesel fuel and what it does to our truckers bottom line . All is good let UA-cam figure it out . Please have a good time and make a living for you and your family be safe doing it . 👍👍👍

Great video and great conversation. Next few months are going to be interesting. You drove right by my house in Marietta!!!! LOL!
Tim you’re 15 miles from my house when you were in Adel (pronounced- A dell) love your content! I watch every video and really end up feeling like we’re all part of your family!!!

I can see why you like that truck. That Kenworth pulls hard.
Steve thank you for you service to our country
It's so good to see old school truckers out there, love this vid!!
@George Jones It ain't about age, it's the old school ethics and mentality.
To tighten up the cab over shifter replace the bushings where the linkage comes out of the shifter tower…night and day difference fixes dial-a-shift
First off, Thanks Brother Steve for Ur Service from a Fella Veteran, 14yrs Army.. Second, love 2 brother truckers talkin Jakes through ATL.
Camera/phone is overexposed ...gopro on boat perfect....I don't believe it's a youtube issue.... I'd still watch them even if they were in black and white keep up the good work love your videos and Steve thank you for your service
For the CAMERA. check that your metering mode are multi. And if you are some kind of manual mode or shutter mode when rec, it seems that you use constant shuterspeed? like 50. Or you try use low f stop. Go full auto mode "inteligent auto" and check that your ev compensator are "0" and put picture profile off. use standard.

Tim, you gotta start pullin' the air horns at these people!!! That Atlanta was segment was insane (just like you said it would be)!
Dam son you sure make trucking look fun.
Nice job getting that beast home safe.
Another great video and glad to see that you and Steve made it home safe . I bet that was a tiring trip watching out for everybody else and paying attention to what is going on around you so closely because of the boat being so big . So many people are in such a big hurry anymore, it's go, go, go and they don't think about putting something in a danger for someone else . The way that I see it anymore is slow down and enjoy life a little . Tell Steve, that I think him for his service to our country for so many years, my dad was a World War 2 veteran and went through a lot during his time overseas.
He took the route through North Africa and Italy and on that way fighting with the Germans . I will see you all later so take care and stay safe and keep on trucking .
🤗👍💖💫
Really enjoyed getting to know Steve. Thank you for your service, sir!
Great episode......thanks Steve for you service keep the great content coming love all the videos
Timmy man this video is still kinda bright!!! Idk what’s going on but thanks for trying to fix it
Looks like its that one camera that messed up probably exposure settings need to be adjusted cause camera on the boat is fine but one they had in the truck they were holding was blown out.
@@arbiter1 no it’s a UA-cam problem 😂
I was just bout to say the same thing @Gentry And Sons Trucking
Its bright
@@ronniewilliz153 Indeed it is . I don't notice it as much anywhere else on YT.
Thank you , I just ordered a shirt from ya , i will always watch your videos , take care
Video does look a little bright. The roadway looks pure white and the Swift trailer you just passed was blinding white. Dash board looks fine. Bill's comment seems right on.
Love the W900 great video
Man Tim brother that Kenworth sounds mean love it AWH LAWD gotta love the Jake brake 👅👅👅🤤🤤🤤
I bet Steve was in Altus Oklahoma for a minute too! Love Steve! Love Altus!
At the beginning of video swift truck was in front of you looked like it was the color of sky it blended in. Great video 👍.
Thank you Steave for your service
I picked up a big cruisers yacht from harbor town marina in Vonore not to long ago. Such a beautiful area and lake you live in.
Thanks Steve, I'm a 20 year retired Air Force EOD Technician, retired in 2001. Flew from Grand Forks AFB to Ellsworth AFB on a tanker back in the 80's, Boom Operator worked it out with the pilots and the B-52 we were refueling to mess with us EOD guys, where all of a sudden we hear Break Away, Break Away, Break Away. Well I'll let you explain what happened next, I loved it.
Donald thank you so much for your services brother
I want to thank all of the current, former, and deceased men and woman, who have fought for all of us to have what we currently do. Growing up in a air force home, taught me more then life itself ever has.
Did ya panic a little when that big bird throttled up at max thottle & climbs almost full vertical and the refueled bird dives like a rock?? LOL
That deal with you and that dude was the greatest man , cool stuff like that I had no idea happen
Boys and their toys, liking the sound of the jake noise.
Good Video Tim, I remember Atlanta Olympics, had to deliver a load and man that was some craziness, with traffic and construction and detours. Then a time limit for going into downtown Atlanta as certain times early 2 AM until like 10 AM and if you didn't get out of downtown. You had to wait until late after 5 PM to reopen truck routes to leave. Other wise you get a ticket with a heavy fine and would be police escorted to a truck stop. Which I was used to with downtown Chicago cold storage as traffic sucks after 11 AM. Just in a traffic jam. So I usually just stay over and leave at 5PM. And start my run to the East coast.
Would love to talk with Steve. I'm an aviation enthusiast myself. I'm a car hauler for Moore Transport. Been here almost 7 years. Never hauled boats. Would love to have drove for Gentry 20 yrs ago. Love the videos. You were talking about $$$ coolers. I have an Acopower Lion Cooler. Over $800. Has a battery. Can go below 0.
Folks are right. A camera on the bow and one UNDER the "roll bar" of the boat would provide some nice footage!
I was wondering if that boat was too large to wrap? (Then it is the responsibility of the boat yard to remove the stuff from the roll bar. You'd have to cut a hole where the cleat is, to attach straps, but the wrap under the towel provides more protection.
Loved hearing Steve's story. I'm retired Air Force and live near Macon. It's nice seeing you driving through areas I know.
From one veteran to another Steve, Thank you for your service. Anchors Away, J
Damn that look like a big long haul you got to get a great job God bless you at least y'all made it safe and clear and you got to work your tears almost to your destinations can't wait to see the rest of it God bless you all can't wait to see the rest of it God bless you and drive safe we should meet at that far God bless you all can't wait to see the rest either I just wanted to when you all finished God bless you
I've got amber/white lights in my vehicle and if I see people cutting too close to it than I'll flip on my lights and travel behind them for as long as I can and prevent people from getting too close. I've actually joined in on escort vehicles to help block lanes if they are having difficulty.
Your video and picture quality is fine . Keep doing your stuff.
Man these videos are BRIGHT!!!
If I was behind you at the time I'd do some crazy moves to keep them at bay!!!
Way to go, Steve! I was OMS in Warner Robbins, GA. Catch, refuel, inspect and launch BUFFs and KC-135s (SAC side).
if you think Atlanta is bad, get a load out to Houston where I live and you'll think Atlanta drivers are tame little children after you try to navigate The Gulf Freeway (I 45) down to Galveston. Riding with you is really fun because today I learned something about the people you work with having very interesting backstories about them.
you have the w900 looking good when i saw it go by that day
Tim when looking out the window it's nothing but a big old Glare if you look at the dash board it's clear you might look to see if there's a setting for sun light to dim the lens just like on these knew cell phones when videoing or taking a picture where there's a glare there's a setting on the phone of the picture and video side that will get rid of your video problem, if what your using doesn't have that you need to invest in one that does
Like the folders on your desk beside you is a white square it’s definitely not right .. you guy’s are just good people so I don’t care if I have to listen to you on the radio I’m with you and your family god bless
Tim, part of the best of this video is listening to you guys talking... specially the parts where Steve was reminiscing about the service, I too served in the army.. 66 to late 69 in guess where. As a young man home, not many wanted to hire us but they did hire a lot of "refugees" they hauled home. We just got honorable considerations but no hire. I did drive but it was my own rigs and they just were not as pretty or fast.... my money was so tight that fuel made the list first and me eat later. If someone was late paying then it got pretty miserable. Nice road curtisee an yet real asshole in the same lanes an times... crazy. That white truck, think it was a pete looked right sweet an had some real power under its bonnet so its not so crazy after all to have the rig run with the best now days. Seen the J.B. Hunt rig traveling way faster than what I remember their old fuel squeezers did in the seventies... even the Swift truck looked able to keep up... those used to be a horrible rig to have to ever drive. I never drove for them but did drive for McCormick who made boats in two pieces an they welded them together in alaska. Half the boat was the trailer it was hauled with on a cab over single screw mack. I made two trips to fairbanks an quit... my guts still bounce as we dead headed home. Think they only had like a hundred fifty horse power an that might be more than the one I drove that barely held together, miserable cold or burning hot as they didn't have ac or decent heaters.
Used to run that same route, thru perry to 129 to us 19 and down! Yessir!
Ok, ok. I just got to 40:30 ! LMAO
Oh, and think about the concept of a roll bar on a boat! Cracks me up.
👆👆👆👆Thanks for watching you have been selected among the winner's for today contact me right now to claim your prize
The video from the boat is nice and clear.
Tim you are the Man love all your videos ,I really enjoyed Steves story he said he flew to Portugal I wonder if he flew to the Azores lajes field Terceira that is were I grew up
Hey Tim I was watching this video the camera on the boat shows awesome the one in the cab is extra bright
Ok tim I saw this note about a short list winner I wasn't sure if it was legit or it was a scam because you know how the scumbags are so I guess I misinterpret it blocked and reported it so if I did this by mistake it's that I was cautious and wasn't taking any chance
So my sincere apologies if that was the case
