We appreciate your business!
Alpina is great. I have their Startimer in 40 mm and I love it. (And it has a screw down crown!)
Alpina has some really interesting watches in their lineup. Well worth a look.
The leather strap variant is gorgeous!
A beautiful watch. But I can`t stand the polished center links on the bracelet.
I love my quartz Startimer. I wore it today. I see more Alpinas in my future.
i love this watch
Great video
I would love to see a video featuring Hamilton pilot pioneer, especially the samller one.
Good stuff. Thanks for the video.
Would like to get your opinion on Glycine. Think it is somewhat overlooked!
Would buy one if the bezel wasn’t fixed. You’re the only one of the web who has told us. Thanks as always, Teddy. 5:24
It's a shame. If it rotated it could compete with the Breitling Aviator 8.
Nice!
It's a nice watch, but for the price I would prefer to get an Oris Propilot on the grey market, or even spend a little more and get a new one
Like Arabic indices, however, still to big for my 6.5 inch wrist and not having an adjustable brezel is a huge missed opportunity (... how did they miss that aspect).
Bought one and like it. But really surprised (and a little disappointed) at lack of screw down crown. I realize still good to 100m, just like the feel of a good screw-down.
Doesn't look like the red triangle on the *fixed* bezel lines up with the 12 o'clock marking. 😬 Sad that the 40mm blue startimer seems to have gone from the Alpina lineup.
Beautiful and a must buy if they would have just made the bezel rotate! Inexcusable.
I agree! I would love a pilot or field watch aesthetic with a date complication & a rotating bezel.
Looks like a Navitimer-8 - I would have bought this watch if the bezel rotated!
...and if it were 39mm...
I feel the date window is too much close to the 6. Otherwise looks good
Came here to say this. Spot on. It needs room to breathe for the design to work.
This is a result of the movement not being a proper fit for the watch.
Would be better without the date in my opinion
Or no 6 numeral and put the date window where a 6 would be.🤔
Agreed, I think removing the white border on the date window would go a long way to correcting it.
Why there's no exhibition caseback? 😒
Beautiful watch but the bezel is a missed opportunity.
you lost me at 49.5mm lug to lug, nice watch though
That bezel ruined it for me. Thank you for your review.
The non rotating bezel is a sin
What makes this a Pilot watch? Is it just because the brand says so? Is it because of thise small Arabic indices?
Because I see nothing about this watch that indicates it would be of any use as a pilot's watch. Even the dimensions - the lugs are too long but the dial and the case diameter are too small for a Pilot Watch.
butterlfy-claps should be forbidden on sports-watches
Liked these for a while, but the arabics just look a bit too small for the dial.🧐
Another ad…extended version. From a former reviewer.
Too big. NEXT?
This model was close to be perfect but it just missed the mark unfortunately.
That bête not being a rotating one is an absolute deal breaker! Not to mention the stupid 21mm lug width and the « 1883 » just cheapening the watch all together.
A real letdown this, especially being so close, just so close to be perfect…😢
41mm is not small by any definition in the watch world. Pass.
enjoy the quality and content of your vids, but please, speak a little slower please!!!! (sounds like you're reading from a script and can't wait to finish)
There is nothing pilot about this watch. It's just another boring sports model.
Boring design, overpriced product. Bye
Design is subjective. This is an "everyday, do everything" watch. It's certainly not overpriced. Bye
Don't know about overpriced 🤔
@@YeCannyDaeThat your description concerning the primary function of this watch is correct. Nothing pilot
