@@tarushinarang651 well since majority of countries are 3rd world or second world countries such brands like gucci or balenciaga or LX cant reach to so most off branded items reach to this places including my country tho its a 1st world but still majority of us cant afford so we just buy off brands to fit the narrative that we can afford something at least which is why those luxury brands must worry about.

I am in my early 60s and retired at 53. Lots of people gave me pushback because they had difficulty grasping the concept of not working if you don’t have to. I looked at my life as stages. I earned everything I have now through a lot of hard work, but I owe it to myself to “stop and smell the roses” in my final stage of life. In my case I left the country after I retired and live in Latin America. It allowed me to get away from all the negative things happening in America while appreciating my new environment. I have yet to meet anyone who regrets retirement.

An excellent case of innovation plus marketing . I believe even in India , the slums.of Dharavi based in Mumbai manufactures creative and luxury bags for great brands as outsourcing just like how Mont Blanc charges a high premium for its watches, bags although they are manufactured in factories in China for very competitive prices as low as us dollars 100 to 150 per piece and are sold for us dollars 1000 at their boutique charging a high premium for products with very less value driven proposition. High end luxury shopping just creates a society of a few privileged people who could have rather channelized their resources to help the needy in our society. 😊

The art of story telling - you
    And
The mind of an artist - Louis Vuitton
That brings me to the question - what value does art have in today's education obsessed with technology? If you know the answer, you know why today's generation isn't any innovative.
Forget the actual art itself, but an investment in artistic mindset is an essential piece to orienting the mind for innovation from its very essence 😅.

Their(luxury brands) primary differentiator is the production of limited-edition collections, which creates a supply that is lower than the demand, driving exclusivity and profitability. So, NOW it's not about new designs/creativity or craftsmanship anymore, it's more about status, heritage and business!
P.s.: the word "creativity" reminds me of Balenciaga's "Towel Skirt"😂 Jethalal's clothes(especially the festive one's) have far more creativity than the whole luxury clothing industry!

You can also share stories from chemical industry in India - outstripping GDP, critical for all other manufacturing sectors and highest returns, huge potential given China + 1 strategy.

For a moment i thought that . Wasn't there any initial worker of the brand who created his own brand differently by inspiration of thought process of owner 🤔

    Hello Ganesh sir
    I see all your videos
I want to learn how to collect data and analyse businesses, companies and economics the way you do
Can you please release a video or course regarding it?

Glad to know how LV came into existence and innovation made it stay. But I think it would be equally valuable to know how the brand is still sustaining? Because I dont think they are doing groundbreaking innovations anymore. They are just playing on the aspirational value created.
Looking forward to the Arnault case study, hope that would answer these questions.

For a long time, as the price of Chanel increased, I no longer thought I could afford it. I think I'll be happy that I have the kislux as my travel bag that I don't have to take care of. By the way, I'm sure no one will have a hard time telling the difference. Thanks for the comparison.
