Well in Morrowind I can levitate to get those cliff racers within punching distance. I got Caius and no Delphine or annoying dragons. I think that settles it! 😄
>Jump My N'wah, I started the game not being able to jump half way up a stair step, but eventually made a Fortify Jump 2 seconds at 400 points and can literally go from my front door in Tel Uvirith to Mar Gan. Skyrimmers might think clicking on a map is a better way to travel, but I earned my insane enchantment
Morrowind: lore, story, atmosphere, Dunmer culture, levitation, water walking, acrobatics, athletics, spears, enchanting Oblivion: quests and factions, weird but awesome NPCs Skyrim: looks and game mechanics, followers, houses, marriage, adoption, survival mode I just noticed I played all these three games in 2022.
Skyrim could have been an amazing game. But after you realise that the only thing that matters is how much mp, hp, and stamina you have total it becomes a completely shallow game. The main story is straight garbage, the dragons are so lame its not even funny, and to top it off all those attributes that would have built your character in morro were completely removed. Nothing matters in skyrim beyond looking cool. Level scaling enemies that turn into bullet sponges, radiant quests that really are just respawning bandits. I mean i could go on for hours. My current level 8 morro character is so powerful compared to a level 30 skyrim character its not even funny. Sorry for unstructured rant, i just hate how skyrim used to be so special to me. Once i got back into morrowind i noticed just how unfun skyrim can be. I love skyrim for what it is. Hate skyrim for what it could have been if they had stuck to their roots. But guess what, bethesda made so much money and has so much fame from skyrim and fallout 4 that we will never get another game like morrowind.
To be fair to level scaling in Skyrim, at least it’s not as bad as it was in oblivion, so at least they improved on something. Level scaling still sucks, but we’ve seen Bethesda do it worse
I played skyrim before morrowind. I prefer morrowind, there's a lot of freedom to be had in character creation and choice, I can make a drunken boxer, a very sneaky and charming assassin that talks his way out of being punished by the law, a schizophrenic wizard who dabbles in skooma market or a naked mad lad berserker whos body is strong enough to tank deadra attacks "nano machines son!". you know the thing rpgs are meant to be good at.
i agree with dagoth ur Morrowind is my fav game, you can use cheats and make the game 1000times more fun in skyrim i cheated but the cheats from a reason dont work, so only the modding may be better Homesystem is morrowind is the best of all games just go in the house you want live or its closed enter the Console and click on the door and Write Unlock if someone lives inside click on him and write Sethealth 0 then he dies so that you wont break the law, Morrowind homesystem is just masterpiece.
@@UlvenTES just to be clear, I’m not talking about EVRYTHING in oblivion like the melted candle face-graphics. But none of the ES games are perfect and each one, like the provinces themselves, has a completely different vibe and set of strengths and weaknesses. I just so happen to be VERY into the vibe of the Empire heartlands and it’s set of quests and the vibrant colors and characters.
@@UlvenTES People sleep on Thirsk Hall, but when I was a low level melee build and I had nowhere else to call home, the Thirsk people took me in. If you want early game digs without murder, this is really your best bet. Where else is an early game player gonna live?
I've only ever played Morroblivion but i can't say I was impressed with the environments, nor cities. I still have PTSD from trying to navigate through Vivec city. I can't remember too much of the story - all I remember was going to speak to like 7 different NPCs all around Morrowind and then into the Ash Mountain. Not very exciting lol
You didn't convince me to prefer Morrowind over skyrim. I knew it from the beginning. But to add my own part, I want to tell about how superior is morrowind's more complex and in depth RPG system is. Yes in your first run you will make couple of characters, and they all will suck. Maybe expect from the last one. This complexity however gives you feel of accomplishment that you understood system. It's a pity every next part is less complex crpg since daggerfall (but this one is probably too complex).
Raven Rock is the best town in TES:5 If you shill a bit for AE you get a mask to larp as dagoth ur and kill some tribunal cultists Rest of the dlc is mid tbh like miraak is one of the shittest bossfights ever and hermaous mora is fucking stupid
Remember that it is only a joke, I don't hate Skyrim, it is just Dagoth Ur being based :)
if it weren't for the polished graphics and the nice combat system, then Skyrim would have no chance competing with Morrowind :D
HE HATES SKYRIM, DESTROY HIM!!!!!

BRB installing a mod in my Skyrim that makes Delphine a shirtless muscular skooma addict
lmao
I was expecting his examples of superior voice acting to just be his own.
I was expecting silence lol

400 points of jump ? That's a free ticket to Solstheim

I loved playing Oblivion and what I remember the most about this game it's the quests, they are really really cool !
morrowind already put you in survival mod in the first place
Morrowind = Best writing
Skyrim = Best gameplay (hopefully just until TES VI comes out)
Oblivion = Funniest Forever
“You can only die from fall damage” 🤣
That sums up Skyrim pretty accurately !
Skyrim is to Morrowind, what ash is to fire.
Morrowinds magic system is so clear of skyrims it’s unbelievable
Yeap, both Daggerfall and Morrowind have a superiority in magic department.
Morrowind has slavery so clearly it is the best elder scrolls game ever made

Bad man Tom Hodwy Howard had red mountain erupt. He took the place I've gotten used to jumping around in from me.
RIP Vvardenfel :(
Aaahhh, relaxing Dagoth ur rants to fall asleep to.
Even though I got into Elder Scrolls through Skyrim he's right. Morrowind is better in a lot of aspects.
You are a wise person
@@UlvenTES hehe thanks. The exploration, immersion and story is just so much better in Morrowind

The irony is that in Morrowind(the game), one of the nicest places to live is in Skyrim.
