Digital nomad taxes can be a nightmare - especially for Americans who are taxed based on CITIZENSHIP (unlike the rest of the world, where taxes are based on residence…).
When you’re constantly hopping all over the world, earning money online as you go, it complicates things. Gone are the days of simply entering your income into TurboTax.
Unless you’re a lawyer or want to commit some serious time to studying complex tax laws, it’s usually easier to just pony up and pay someone to do it for you. Depending on your situation, they may end up saving you money, and even give you advice on how to avoid taxes as a nomad (legally).
In this video, I show how you can blast through your taxes for digital nomads in 15 minutes... at least if all your books are in order.
