Camden forward Joyce Edwards is Gatorade National Player of the Year

The routine visit to the high school gymnasium proved even more rewarding for Camden forward Joyce Edwards Wednesday.
Awaiting to greet the University of South Carolina-bound senior and three-time state champion was a throng of media and representatives from Gatorade. The organization made a surprise visit to Camden to present Edwards her National Player of the Year award.

Camden has a lot of elite basketball history.
