5.0 GPAs are becoming less rare these days and i love seeing that in our community!
How do you get a 5.0? What's the grading scale? When I was in school the highest you can get was a 4.3 which was an A+. 4.0 was an A. 3.7 was an A-.
The GPA goes up when the hardest classes are drop from the academics. In the future only classes graded is going to be partying.
Taking AP college credit courses in high school & honors puts you on a 5.0 (sometimes 6.0) grading scale. Each high school weights differently…
@@Hooderaw pretty much a report card full of A+ in all ap classes
@swishcultures Zach Edey from Purdue has the same major
WOW ❤❤❤Coach D no Joke. She will find a wy for her players 😮😢😢❤

Well I'm glad to see 5.0. It defies the odds that black people can't do the academics. They can if they are inspired & not bought off.
Black people do that daily. It defies no odds. It's the more. Change the people you're around.
Welcome to Gamecock Nation, Ms. Edward. Let's git it. Let's gooooo! I'm looking forward to seeing you on the floor. 🏀🏀
Congratulations ❤
CONGRATULATIONS WBB GAMECOCKS 2024 CHAMPIONS!!!
go girl!
The 5.0 is weighted GPA for students who take Honors and/or AP (Advanced Placement) classes. When HS students take the official AP exam and score 4 or 5 on the exam, the students received college credit and don’t have to take that class again. Only the super-talented ones get to the 5.0. So show respect to the students who maintained a 5.0 GPA. 🎉🎉🎉🎉
5.0 GPA is a no. I had a 120 average. It just going to say 100 on the transcript. I still have that transcript. Teachers was trying to take me away from my mother
is a no?
That’s a no. I had 121 in English. It just will say 100 not 121 on my transcript
@@jmar385 in america AP classes take students over a 4.0
stop hating
@@mariejane1567 What I’m hating for when I had
121 Language Arts

100 Social Studies
98 Science
& my progress report said 99.5 & I was told by a teacher that’s the highest I can go.
. sorry joyce Edwards is better than Sarah strong
Does SC get a 5 via portal that has experience?
She comes from a rare black family that cares about academic excellence above athletic excellence. I wonder if her family immigrated from a Caribbean or an African country recently because folks from there seem to take academic success more seriously than the traditional African-Americans. And environmental engineering sounds like a very intriguing academic major, indeed.
That's not true! So stereotypical in your statement that's sad
@@brandydixon9215 I hate to be blunt and honest, but stereotypes exist for a good reason - namely, an observed pattern, i.e., empirical evidence.
This isn’t a true statement.

No such thing as a 5.0. What a crock. 4.0 and that’s all. JFC.
Old Skool in the 1980s 4.0 was As straight. These days they upped it to 5.0.
